Pizza Perfection in Newport

Cookies burnt so was pizza and pizzas wasn't even cut not had issues before

Burnt pizza is an understatement I'd say it was cremated & phone calls ignored after initally being cut off. Went to the store the orange overly tanned lady with the white a3 number plate, possibly Amy decides to reverse her car right up to me, when I politely asked her to move forward so I could get out she started throwing her toys and started swearing, her mouth is dirtier than the place she works in. I'd rather go to another local business who show you some respect & most of all respect their place of work. Looking at the other reviews says it all.

Pizza perfection? More like pizza infection. So I ordered a pizza and it was nice but the next day I went into the store to buy a pizza for my friends and as soon as I walked in my stomach dropped . There was a dirty mop bucket on the floor with dirty water and a dirty mop, just by the entrance. One of the workers was sat on the countertop, where the pizzas were being made. There was an old boggin lady behind the till, stood next to the worker . She did not look hygienic and had dirty clothes on . The shop just stank like piss, which made me walk out and go to the pizza shop across the road . I was so upset to see that the pizza I ate last night was prepared in this boggin shop made by these boggin people . Never ordering from here again.

Waited ages for it to come even phoned the restaurant it came and for 45 pound I expect the food to be hot it was stone cold not happy even my kids moaned it was cold

saw this boy cutting my pizza. When I opens the box the pizza wasn’t even cut properly when it tried to take a slice out the pizza toppings start to fall apart. It was alright but gave me a stomachache. I will never be returning to that pizza shop.

I didn't receive my food order and also when I am ringing they are not answering

I placed order for delivery for 8.pm and it was at my door by 6.pm. it was 2 hours early. think staff didn't look at time on order. but overall food was lovely and hot and enjoyed it.

Missing bottle of coke told they would send it out but nothing

Very slow unusually. Also cheese garlic pizza bread turned into a garlic baguette. First time that’s happened.

Deep dish is perfect ratio of dough to sauce to cheese for us!

Been ordering from here for a while gradually getting worse but thought I would give it another try. Pizza full of grease and more than once have been undercooked. Woman who answers the phone seems half soaked and quite useless tbh. Ordered a pizza meal deal and called up to request garlic dips, was told that I would need to pay. I asked if even one would be included as this is the case with most pizza companies i.e Dominos etc, was told they couldn’t even include one dip and would need to pay. Settled with one or two deliveries where I could have easily complained but for the sake of not giving me a dip and being penny pinchers just lost another customer 😂 Food came tonight and tbh an Asda £5 one tastes better. Won’t be ordering again and if you want above average food then suggest you don’t order either.

Food is not eatable, the food has the most weird smell, and taste just the same. It’s as though you can taste the cardboard. I can’t explain it but it’s absolutely vile, like damp smell with cardboard

Order from here as my number 1 pizza place as they are usually very tasty seemed the tomato base was different today and was no where near as nice as usual, hoping this was just a 1 off and if they’ve changed there tomato base they go back to normal! Food was cooked great just the taste was no where near as nice as usual

Over n hour n half for delivery. To have a burnt and cold pizza. My husband called and girl on phone was appalling. She was vile. Customer service needs to be trained.

Highly recommended great hot food

Food was delivered pretty quick, was hot and fresh. The pizza tasted good but I wasn’t a huge lover of the texture (almost a bit soggy feeling), cookies were sooo good though! Overall I’d return for the price :)

Shop opening hours state close at 10pm yet 8.50 I call to order a meal and to be told sold out. That’s twice in a week don’t u think if u keep selling out you should make more dough and then continue serving to the said time u close

First time ordering and left a little disappointed. Pizzas were okay but the base had a strange taste that wasn't nice so put us off. Don't know if the dough wasn't fresh or it's something to do with the boxes. Definitely won't be ordering again.

Called the restaurant couple of time regarding order. I received the order after 2 hours. Delivery guy apologised for the delay but if they are busy don’t accept the order so that we can order from other places

Rang restaurant and a young lady they told me it would be on its way shortly. The lady brought the meal to me herself because the drivers ain't quick enough. Only to find it burnt, hard and no topping it looked like a frozen pizza.

Food is normally really nice from here but my last order was terrible order was late then when it arrived one of the pizzas was burnt to a crisp the base could of knocked a nail into the wall it was that hard and the garlic bread wasnt even cooked in the middle

Order a 12 inch pizza and a 15 inch pizza. We were charged for a 15 inch but only a 12 inch pizza was delivered and it was lukewarm.

Pizza dough should not taste like undercooked bread. Pizza should be a bit crusty and not fold in half when you pick it up. This one was soft and chewy like sourdough bread, so was garlic bread. Yuck. We did not enjoy anything we ordered at all.

Pizza undercooked, normally 10/10 but today very poor and a size down I’m sure.

Fairly tasty, but so oily the paper in the box was saturated and I had to use kitchen towel to soak up more. Also, playing £2 for 'extra toppings' to get six bits of mushroom and a few tiny cubes of red pepper just isn't on.

Order took 2 hours to arrive. BBQ chicken wings had no BBQ sauce on them. Incredibly bland.

Ok so it was good not great. The pizza bases are pre done/shaped not like Dominos where they use fresh pizza dough and shape it on-site fresh. So it was like eating cardboard…. Was nice to try a different business but will stick with Domino’s, Pizza Hut etc….

I normally like the pizza's but today the pizza barely had any sauce on it so just tasted like cheese nothing else and it was late so pizza was cold. The chilli cheese were really nice and ozzy the cookie were a little burnt but still tasted fine. The tennessee toffee cake though seriously don't bother it doesn't even taste like toffee and tasted very cheap not worth £3.80

The wedges were dry and tasted like they’d be there for a while, I could taste any extra toppings eg garlic sauce on my pizza and couldn’t see the onion either.

Could have done with more vegetables but overall a delicious pizza :)

Food likely reheated in microwave because the dips were burst and shrunken and 35 minutes late. I shan't be ordering again.

Lush pizza and chips but chocolate pizza dessert was not nice and uncut will order again without the dessert. Was 15 mins late.

I can understand if they are busy, but forgetting things from your order is just ridiculous, especially when order spending a lot of money, starting to get fed up and losing faith in them

Would never order from these again. Missing 2 items with order only to be told there's nothing they can do. The pizza was burnt and chewy, the chips weren't even cooked and are cold. Couldn't even remember the bottle of coke on the order.

Food was great, however we ordered a bottle of pop and it didn't come with the order. Rang the shop and she very lovely and said it would be sent back out. Sadly not received.

£20 for cold pizza and chips....could've done that myself. Driver took 5 minutes getting out of car to the house.... You've lost a loyal customer.

Food arrived cold. Showed as delivered for a good 20 minutes on the app so assuming it had been sat in the kitchen or with the delivery driver for a while before it came to us whilst keeping Just Eat’s algorithm happy. We ordered 3x garlic dips but got two bbq dips. Chips felt half cooked, very pale, chewy. Garlic pizza bread was swimming in grease. The bottom of the box it came in was soaking. Gross meal, won’t order again.

Who'd have thought the old and new name of this place would go so well together in a sentence..

Not loving the pizzas here anymore absolutely dripping in grease and crusts chewy also really bland in general. The garlic dips are always shoved in next to hot food and every time exploded upon opening in box. Not impressed.

these were the worst two pizzas I have ever had in my life, the dough was hard, it had been so over cooked I could not eat anything. the bottom was. brown burnt and solid. this should not have been allowed to be sent out an d clearly was not checked. I dont normally write reviews but I am yet to have a refund and I wouldn't want anyone to have to go through this.

The worst pizza place I’ve ever had the misfortune to come across!! Don’t waste your time, money or efforts on this place. Waited over an hour, only to have to wait almost another 40 minutes and then wait some more! Had no updates from them, I was the way having to chase my order. Rude staff to boot, I would’ve thought that restaurants would bend over backwards for business these days, alas it seems not.

Pizza box and pizza were sodden with grease and I was given all sauces except for the one I asked for, garlic bread was the worst I've ever seen or tasted, never again

Got two meat feasts instead of one and a meat wave pizza. A little bit too greasy, paper was soaked.

Pizza was nice, though very oily. Usually, this place is tasty but the garlic mushrooms must have been deep-fried in glacier run off, as they were stone cold. Think it was a one off to be fair.

The food was absolute amazing! The pizza tomato base was nice and tangy, even the chicken strips tasted so good. Ordered ahead of time and the delivery time was spot on. One of the best Pizzas is Newport can’t fault a thing!

The pizzas from here are fantastic and amazing value for the price. Plenty of topping, nice base and always tastes fresh.
