Pepino's in Newport

£9 for a cold bland kebab , 50p for a tiny tub of chilli sauce , when I questioned this server abrupt . I must be getting old but we live and learn ,back to our regular up the road

Ordered a burger which was decent but the cookies I got from there cost £4.50 and they were totally burned black at the bottom like rock hard and you can even smell it I called the shop the guy said he always makes it like this, I said again but it's burned he said no that's how we do it, he wasn't listening so I just hang up, I've had these cookies before awhile back and it was really nice. so he's lying plus who would make and sell burned cookie all the time, what a waste of money! Rude service!

Very good place for a midnight snack My favourite is always the lamb kebab

Avoid, avoid, avoid. We ordered the shish and doner kebab, it came burned, salad was old and had a funny taste, lacked seasoning, chicken was rock hard, kebab was raw, the list goes on. The order came up to £30, a waste a money. You can find far better places in Newport for half the price. A lesson learnt for us.

I ordered food on the website and I got extra free pizza

The people that answer the phone here are probably the rudest people I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with! Ended up hanging up, zero customer service and will try and add extra money on if you don’t challenge them!

Owner thinks it’s okay to block access to my drive for over an hour to deliver flyers to my local area. When calling the takeaway I was told I don’t own the roads! Rude people who have no consideration for others and think they own the place, dread to think what their food taste like but I guess their reviews speak for themselves. Avoid at all costs

Food arrived burnt, chicken was rock hard when called to complain the employees were rude and very aggressive. I would never go back awful food and awful customer service, save your money

I put a review on just eat of 1 star. With a lot of text but hasn't shown. Do not order from here, they are aggressive if you complain. 51 quids worth of food going on their doorstep tomorrow as it was stone cold. I'm not wasting space in my bin with their rubbish, I already wasted my cash Please take my advice, based on how they got aggressive, and cold food, do not order from here. If you do, I did warn you

we want pizza and kebab with my family every week our food comes very fast and hot . The employees are very kind and smiling. It is very difficult to find such a kebab service in Newport.

Best kebab, pizza and burger my family have had in a long time

We have been ordering from this place once a week for at least 6 months with no problems, but we will not be using them again when you phone to place an order the man on the end of the phone don't understand English too well. Week before last ordered Kebab meat on chips received Kebab meat on pitta bread. Then last week waited 1 hour for our order then phoned to find out where it was only to be told that it had been sent out and the driver had got no answer, When we said no one had been to our house we were told he went to 103 even though we had told them when we placed the order that our house is 130, They used to have a Lady answering the phone who recognised the wife's voice every time she phoned to place an order.

Gutted as usually very happy with my orders! Today the chips was stone cold and well over done! Also hot wings was cold!asked for salad on kebab which i never got! Rang them to be told first of all 'we live to far away'?!?! When weve been ordering for months and no problems? Now apparently waiting for the boss to call me back which 30 mins later still nothing!

I ordered chicken wings I ate them had shites in morning. I also oreded 2 pieces of chicken which I tried 2 eat 2day as didn't have delivered till 9pm. I have photos of this chicken I deboned it and it is all pink. The chips were so dry u could chuck them at the wall. N pfffft my daughters burger well it was stiff. Disgusting! NEVER EVER AGAIN. U OWE ME 25POUND.👌😡😡😡

Pepino's extra large doner kebab more like extra small. I live close to Pepino's but would rather walk the distance to another kebab takeaway where an extra large is an extra large. Also when you ask them to cut the meat from the spit they insist on serving the meat from the tray and get rude with you...

Pepinos used to be amazing. Their chicken always was better than KFC. Hadn't ordered for a while but did tonight. 3 pieces of chicken absolutely dripping in oil and just plain roast chicken at that. Chips were unedible as they were so hard. Won't be using them again. Meal went in bin after tasting first piece of chicken.

Used to be a great place to get food but it has gone downhill big time. Mixed doner was disgusting and wrong pizza arrived even after making a second phone call to confirm. Apparently, there is only one type of chicken on the pizza menu, contrary to their menu saying otherwise and it seems customary to add other toppings to a pizza which were not ordered. But, apparently, that's ok, regardless of allergies people may have. No help offered to rectify this issue and I will avoid in future. I will also be reporting it to trading standards as a matter of principle.

Just had a combo meal with doner and chicken shish and omg it's the best I have had for a long time plus I'm a fussy eater so for me to say something so good it must of been very good thank you pepinos amazing food

Customer service awful, food cold, wouldn't recommend

Ordered through Just Eat, after an hour and a half of waiting we called to find out when our food would be delivered to be told the address they went to said they didn't order any food so they just left it didn't contact us or anything. The girls attitude on the phone was awful. You seriously need to improve on your customer service skills.

Absolutely disgusting service, will never order from here again! Didn't ask you for anything for free so that's a lie! All I asked you for was to put my pitta seperate and you wanted to charge!!!! You're the only shop to charge to put something seperate!!!

We placed an order from pepinos, first off delivery was 25 minutes late, but all 3 portions of chips that arrived were not cooked properly, and were hard and raw in the middle. I threw away one portion before my daughter complained to just eat. She told just eat that I'd thrown away the one portion. When the driver brought "fresh" chips he asked for the chips back, my daughter told him she had said that the one portion had been thrown away. He said he needed to go and speak to someone. While he went to his car to do so, I went in the bin and got out the 3rd portion. He came back to the door, said that we were now banned from ordering again! Refused to take the chips from my daughter who then had to throw them all in the bin, in front of him. So why was it such a big problem? He was so rude! I'm sorry but if we pay for food, we expect to have decent food delivered. I wouldn't half cook food at home and serve it! You used to be the best place to order food from in Newport and I've left plenty of good reviews for you on just eat, but you should be ashamed of yourselves. You could have had all 3 portions back, but I bet the driver didn't come back and say that to you either!

Lush food had chicken shish will be ordering again

Ordered food tonight presentation was absolutely appalling. 3 pieces of meat in my wrap , soggy bread , chips like cardboard and a very rude manager. Will never use these again vile food.

Previous order had a childs meal missing was told when i ordered again they would replace the meal which i had already obviously paid for well ordered tonight didnt bring up the meal as didnt wanna be petty but waited 1hr 20 mins for order when told 45 mins wait!! When i called was told food on way 30 mins later food arrived cold driver rude!!! Didnt bother calling as to complain as they seem to forget refunds anyway !!!!!!

I order pizza take 45 minutes but is cold thy offer refund and take pizza back then I have to wait ordered again I just took pizza waist of money

Just had the fattiest kebab ever. I asked for lots of garlic sauce but had hardly any. I don't think I'll be back any time soon ? ☹️

Staff was terrible very rude prices was extortionate for the quality of food that was recieved that was when you was able to get served

Will never order here again, messed our order up and then accused me if lying about missing items, absolutely foul the way he spoke to me on the phone!!!!! Food ain't all that either! If your looking for good service and food DO NOT ORDER FROM HERR we wanted to try somewhere different but will go back to bambinoes.

Lol....when u walk n get ur meal....9/10...its going 2 b ritebut just orders n well disappointed.. .didn't wan chips...no mixed chick....well...should of made a spsg bol ...woulda Costa 7 quid less...not good...!
