Domino's Pizza in Newport

Ordered a medium vegan pizza & a small vegan cheese and tomato for my toddler, 4 boxes arrived all not vegan, meat on the medium & normal cheese pizza on the small. what in the world is going on with this chain.

Hardly any topping poor for the price ..wedges were dry ..

My order number is . 567507025 Firstly, upon receiving our order, we discovered that an item was missing. When we contacted your customer service, we were assured that the missing item would be promptly sent out to us. However, to our dismay, this never happened. Upon contacting your customer service again, we encountered an appalling level of service. Not only were we met with a dismissive attitude, but we were also informed that order 567507025 that the missing item had been refunded, which was blatantly untrue as no refund was processed. Adding insult to injury, during our attempt to address the issue, the phone call was abruptly disconnected, demonstrating a complete lack of professionalism and disregard for customer concerns. This experience has completely ruined our dinner and left us feeling deceived and mistreated. Despite our polite attempts to resolve the matter with your company, we have been met with nothing but lies and rude behavior. Therefore, I am formally requesting a full refund for our order. Your company's failure to fulfill our order accurately, coupled with the dishonesty and incompetence displayed by your staff, is unacceptable and warrants immediate rectification. I expect a prompt response and confirmation of the full refund. Failure to provide a satisfactory resolution will leave me with no choice but to escalate this matter further. Sincerely, Kieran

Pizza delivered was cold , dry and over cooked. Phoned to complain and was hung up on 3 times. He took our telephone number and asked us if we had ordered online and no more was said. Shocking service!

Extremely poor service. Very disappointed

The staff are polite and professional. The Chepstow road team are always amazing. Tonight being Xmas eve they were still able to serve my pizzas perfectly and in record breaking time. Thank you all and merry Christmas.

Always loved ordering from here - classed it as my favourite take out!. Food was lovely. Staff amazing. Delivery drivers have been amazing. Never had a bad complaint until today!. Elderly grand father answered the door while I sat on the stairs with my small frenchie pup contained. The dog was barking but I assured the women that she only was barking cos she wanted to see who it was. The women demanded to shut the door until the dog was locked up (understandable if you have a fear of dogs). Did as instructed and locked the dog up, apologised and that should have been that!. However the delivery driver continued to lecture me how the dog should be locked up and not to bother ordering in the future if I can’t lock her up. Her attitude wasn’t even polite about it. I’ve had delivery drivers in the past fuss my puppy, acknowledge that she is in the background but contained. I’ve even had delivery drivers acknowledge her barking and ask where she is before handing me a pizza and I’ve assured them however this delivery driver had a disgusting attitude towards the situation. Made me realise I don’t even wanna bother if I have to put up with that.

The guy who manages is no help. I’m an American visiting my boyfriend in the UK, I ordered my pizza but put my American number because that’s what’s connected to my card. The guy tried arguing with me that “they called us” even though I have no missed calls from them… he then insisted that the delivery driver “knocked” which he didn’t. I wouldn’t have cared so much if the manager cared to fix the problem instead of arguing with me. It’s his job to deal with people but he doesn’t know how to. Now I know why the pizzas are 50% off online… because there is a 50% chance you’ll actually receive your food

absolutely disgusting I ordered myself a thin pizza thinking that I would of course get a THIN pizza when it arrived I had cardboard with a little bit of cheese and almost no sauce I don't know who thought that it was a good idea to serve someone the pizza I got but it was absolutely disgusting and burnt disgusting, never ordering from this place ever again and I wouldn't recommend anyone else ordering from here either spent almost £20 for something that wasn't consumable for a human

Ordered the 10” meal for one. 9 square slices cooked to high standard. Inc 10” C&T normal + 3 toppings fries £7.99 coleslaw extra garlic dips plus a drink £10 total. Eating in no probs. Great value. Highly recommended

It's dominos! It's great, and their gluten-free crust is amazing. Its been a saviour since I got diagnosed with Celiac

Customer service was lacking, got my order wrong after showing him a list of my order? Only 2 pizzas with modifications, got my pizza wrong I went back and gave me attitude about being able to fix it? I understand it's busy but if you get my order wrong you should be able to rectify it without issue

Nice pizza and delivery was really fast. No mistakes either which can be really overlooked until it happens.

Ordered online to collect as the delivery time was too long. When I went to pick up my order they couldn't find it. When they did find it, part of it was missing. After being reassured that the rest of my order would still be warm while they made my missing pizza, i waited 20 mins for them to complete my order. Got home and the rest of my order was not that warm. Avoid this place if it is busy.

Doesn't accept cash, was stood there for 10 minutes before anyone came to the till i could hear them scrolling through tictok in the background, complete waste of time

Great store with great staff! As we live close by, the walk-in deals are great. We never have any issues with food ordered from this store and always have a positive experience!

Sadly a terrible experience. Incorrect order delivered with pizza missing. Houseful of hungry people, driver called the store and advised fresh pizza delivery would be 10-15 minutes. 30 minutes later no pizza. Called three times and nobody answered. Finally got through and spoke to someone who really needs to understand customer service. It was not my mistake and whilst operational things happen out of your control at times deal with it and don't make excuses and blame everyone else, just own it and put on your big boy pants and apologise. A customer shouldn't have to remind you to check your attitude and shouldn't have to tell you to apologise. Again assured pizza would be 10 minutes. 90 minutes after my initial order still no pizza. Call back and still not ready. Funny 10 minutes. Eventually got a refund of the missing pizza and they delivered luke warm pizza which is really unappealing. You completely spoiled our evening.

I must say really good Manager, he knows his jobs (Excellent customer service skills). Very nice pizzas, I would highly recommend it to everyone. Always on time. I was so happy with the service so I decided to write a feedback. I hope this helps others to decide so they can enjoy nice food.

Spent 50 pound in this chepstow road store had everything delivered accept for a pizza no problem just a pizza I rang the store up and told the manager the manager tried to tell me there was bad history from my address. Bad history at my address is because employees keep missing my items I’m paying for. The manager he was an Indian man very rude he told me I’m not having my pizza all recorded and reported to trading standards advise no one to order from this store poorly run bad management poor attitude very dirty store need some new management people running it are shocking a few reviews were people have been missing things who’s right the customer or the employees of dominos wouldn’t Evan rate them 1 star dirty store no wonder people rob the driver when they’re out for deliveries don’t blame them run by bunch of foreigners who can’t understand English

Great Dominos store, food prepared for collection is always very hot and tasty, they have great deals and staff are very helpful. We recently ordered a collection from the Chepstow store rather than the Chepstow road one by mistake and staff at both take aways could not have been more helpful. Great team of staff and excellent customer service!

Food was great but the only thing that let it down was the rude delivery driver who wouldn't bring our food to the door in flats as we were unable to leave because we have a vulnerable person in the house and was stated in the delivery to come and leave on our door step and leave but he had called me told me he wasn't coming in, I tried to explain but he kept saying wasn't his problem and he knows all about covid because he works in a test centre and knows all the rules and regulations and I don't know what I'm talking about, I expect better from this company and won't be ordering again if this level behaviour is acceptable from their drivers

Took £147 of my money and no delivery then said will be 5 days that get my money back!! Horrendous customer service!!!

It was great pizza full of different types of vegetables but the problem is that the edge of pizza is too big without any vegetables or cheese !

Been ordering for years BBQ wings were supposed to spicy with a BBQ flavoured sauce the wings came dry and my pizza well that was salty, I've watched it slip over the past year, management didn't speak to me in a respectable manner it seemed as if they didn't want to give me fresh wings the way I wanted them they wanted me to be satisfied for something that isn't advertised dry with no flavour

Tried to place order online with app and website. But payment wasn't working with there app, so tried website with same result. Called as instructed as online payments wasn't working. only to be told they don't take orders over the phone anymore and they can't help 👍🙃

Worst Dominoes expirience ever. Lady with accent on phone was rude and presumed to know what I wanted, pizza was undercooked. Poorest customer service here, I use Dominoes often and Chepstow Road is the only let down.

Very nice pizza, but struggled to understand the guy taking my order, probably cos the plastic visa in the way?

Overall a 3/5. The thin crust Italian base was thick, toppings were in short supply, the way it was sliced was horrendous and not in proportion. They forgot the sauce which comes on top of the pizzas and squirted a fat dollop onto one slice instead. Some slices had literally no toppings. Not great I must admit. Will stick with Newport Pizza Hut from now on. Staff and food MUCH better there.

Last two times in the last few months I've ordered, they've either messed up order or I've had the S**ts late that night. AVOID

I am still ill, 2 days after eating a pizza from here. Myself and a family member, have very bad stomach's and other problems, that I won't mention. I took the risk of having a takeaway and what appears a poor hygiene issue, has messed my Weekend up.😡😡

Pizza arrived squashed and pushed to one side of the box. No one answering the phone to complain.

The gentleman behind the counter served me with the best customer service. The lady who was making my pizza demonstrated excellent skill.. the way how she controlled and manipulated the dough made it look like a fine art. Making a pizza is an incredibly underrated task. She showed her attention to detail as she was carefully picking out my toppings. The pizza tasted great and I found the offer which was made available to me was excellent value for money. The only feedback that I would give is to put some heating in the customer eating area.

Please please check your orders before leaving took my autistic boy to get a pizza, but when opened it had barbecue sauce not tomato as ordered so my money has been wasted and one very agitated boy. I could not go back down there due to his disability and they do not deliver to my address. Will certainly avoid this dominos in future

"Second hand pizza"?? Looks like someone had a bite. That's terrible I was usually ordering from here but now I don't think so.

I've never been here. Maybe I passed by it, but I didn't go in, I didn't consume anything.

I order from this store regularly and the quality is always excellent. Today was our only negative experience with the quality of the pizza and they were very helpful and replaced the pizza within 30 mins. So yeah, gonna keep ordering :)

Waiting for 20 mins and no air conditioning, don't know how anyone can work there.

Forgot half of our order...delivery driver went back for the order and still forgot what we ordered . Spoke to someone on the phone and they were rude and unhelpful 😡🖕

The best pizza in Newport. I recommend them all and you can get them delivered to your home or if you are in the area tell them what time you want it ready and come pick it up. Very friendly and conscientious staff everything very clean inside.

As usual, the American business model gives you a confusing offer which can be difficult to navigate to the (very few) good value pizzas. I don't think that the alleged full price of 35 quid for a pizza and a couple of sides is legitimate. If you spend time on it, you'll probably get a pizza for 11-15 quid, but I don't think that is anything like good value. The local Chepstow pizza place Stonerock's pizzas start at 7 quid (no I don't work for them!), and there will be similar locally-owned places in and around Newport. Just shows how much Dominos is ripping us all off. With their economies of scale, a fiver a pizza should still be profitable. The pizza when it arrives (they do have a really good order tracker!) is fatty (too much cheese) and the base is stodgy. Feeding the family or four comes to the same price as a sit-down meal almost anywhere, which is taking the Michael for a takeaway pizza. Great if your New Year's resolution is to become heavier and poorer.

Absolutely a joke. Two hours minimum wait. Ordered anyway...then the idiot said he had to check if there was diet coke in store room... Phone went dead. Got a call back over an hour later whilst buying pizzas at local shop asking do we still want to place an order. Just wow train your staff

Food turned up cold and forgot an item of my order. And then took much longer than needed to redeliver the item. Pizza wasn't cut properly was appalled to be honest!

Had 2 pizzas over a space of 2 weeks the offer pizzas, well i can tell you that there not made the same as full price pizzas! The pizzas i had had hardly any toppings, as for cheese hardly any and i order double cheese, 2 accasions this has happened, i waited last time 45 minutes in there store. Do not by the offer pizzas you will be realy dissappointed! Would give ZERO stars if i could! Beware!!!!

Three times I've ordered from this Dominos three times they've gotten the order wrong Chicken Feast with no chicken why would they do that to me ? A Meatilicious ordered without ham and with garlic butter and chorizo delivered with original toppings , boo 😔 Not good .

poor customer service. waited a hour for my pizza only to find out, they messed up my order and then they tell me they will send it. I cancelled at the end. this has happened two times so far. never ordering from there anymore!!!

Avoid this branch at all costs! Ordered food using the dominos app, money was taken however after an hours wait we decided to ring dominos to find out the order never went through. They then sent out our order again and all the wrong food was delivered. Rang up to ask for the correct food to be sent and it never arrived.

Well where do i start. First the drive turns up and rings me to go and collect my order from his car. Then after 10 mins of him trying to find my gate opening. Our order was completely wrong and when i phoned to complain they werent helpfully at all. Said they send me my right pizza is was at my house in less than 10 mins and was luke warm. Its been an awful experience and will never be giving them my custom again. PIZZA HUT all the way!!

Good pizza but staff kept going from keyboard to phone to touching their face/hair and back to stretching the dough without washing their hands... terrible hygiene standards. Managers should be strict about this.

Great taste pizza and super friendly service, especially the gentleman who delivered our food (his name was Haytham). He was very friendly, polite and courteous. We asked him questions about the current deals and he was very helpful and welling to answer all our question. Thank you Haytham.

Pleasant friendly approach from Hungarian lady at counter, my order was done in the 10 minutes as advised and when I got home both my wife and myself ate the pizza & desert and we thoroughly enjoyed it.

Still waiting. Just moved house, thought it would be a treat for our kids after the hell of moving. This has just added to our stress. Phone calls to the store have just ended with blatant lies of 'just on its way'. Terrible

Waited over a hour then told Pizzas out for delivery, another 30 minutes later still no sign, called again still told out for delivery (can't imagine how poor quality they might be after this time) but told "don't worry if they're cold we'll re-make them for you", great the kids can eat pizza 3 hours after we ordered. Won't ever order from them again, branch manager needs re-training (or perhaps a new job).

Customer Service is absolutely shocking! Ordered online arrived on time, told that the pizza is still in the oven after asking staff if my order is there or not. they would walk away and not come back and tell me if my order was there. so then after waiting 45 minutes was told they have lost my order and then had to wait another 15 minutes. Dominoes I will not be coming back again EVER!! 😠

I arrived for a collection I'd ordered. Was slightly late in being done but the guys kept me well informed as I waited. Could not faulter the service. The pizzas when I got back were to die for. Wow. Faultless, delicious. If you want s Pizza go here... nowhere else would match it for sure.

Have ordered from this Dominos for years, but lately they are really slacking on customer service!! Ordered a pizza today and when I opened it up it looked like they had vomited on it when making it, looked discusting!! No presentation what so ever as the cheese and toppings had all slid to one side of the pizza!! Looked as if it had been thrown around!! And it took far longer to arrive than normal and I ordered at lunch time, not evening peak time!! Pizza was luke warm at best!! Very dissapointed!!
