Pizza Hut Delivery in Newport

Fluffing distaster. First time since feb 2020 and last time ever. Ordered 2h ahead, with a specified time of the delivery. With specific instructions for both the driver and the "kitchen". Is it hard to read and interpret "please, use half of the usual amount of tomato sauce"? Is it hard to understand to put double cheese and some beef? Do you need someone to draw you a picture / pictogram in order to do what your are fluffing paid to do? Pizza was cold on the edges, barerly warm in the very middle. Over half an hour late, no contact with the driver or the "restarurant" itself. Customer service - NON-EXISTENT. Pizza was missing two toppings, was soggy and drenched in fat (that includes the cardboard box as well!) If you have a choice between frozen pizza (ANY!!) and pizzahut, please, do not hesitate. Fluff the latter. Fluffing DISGUSTING, both food and customer service.

I ordered at 19.10 last night, the estimated delivery was between 20.08-20.20, the just eat app said enjoy your food at 20.20, we waited till 20.30 to call, told on phone it haven’t been cooked yet and that there really busy should be there in half hour, at 21.10 we called back, explained we had been waiting 2 hours then told me I had ‘only been waiting an hour and half’ I told them we ordered it at 19.10, they said the driver was on there way back, food got here at 21.40

Ordered as of now the food is over a hour late, tried ringing the hut multiple times with no answer, ridiculous customer service would not recommend ordering from here

Need to cook the pizza for longer

Order food and items were missing I called them and they said If I want it delivered it'll be a 2 hour wait and they will charge me for it. Any other restaurant would give free deliver and something complimentary. Very bad service, will never order again

Very nice pizza but awful delivery experience. I ordered food for me and my brothers. I order a ham and cheese pizza, my older brother a cheese pizza and my younger brother a pepperoni pizza. It was about 8pm and the pizzas took a while to come. Eventually, they arrived. Instead of our order, we got mac and cheese and a ham and pineapple pizza? We rang up and said we got the wrong order, they told us to wait for someone to come and collect the wrong order, so we waited. They came and collected the order. Then we had to wait again for them to deliver our order. At about 10pm, they came back with our order. BUT IT WASNT OUR ORDER 😭. It was three cheese pizzas. I was disappointed but as it was so late i didnt bother ringing again and ate the cheese. Idk if this was a one time thing or?

Ordered food over 2 hours ago still no food! Called them multiple times to no awnser the one time they awnsered they said it was on its way... Lies! Never order here again its daylight robbery

I didn't realise the pizza didn't come with a free garlic dip, would have ordered some if I'd known. Food was lovely and hot. Luckily we had free wedges which came with 1 dip.

Picked up a pizza from here tonight. It was ready bang on time hot and delicious. The staff are really friendly much better than another big pizza chain starting with a D.

Excellent service. The pizzas were amazing and I didn't have to wait a long time at all to get them. Staff members gave me a great welcome when I got there to order and collect my food. Highly reccomended

We accidentally ordered for collection when we wanted our food delivered. I rung the Hut, they were very helpful and arranged for it to be delivered.

The best deep pan dough in Newport. Always crispy outside and fluffy inside. Staff is friendly. Pizza is always done under 15 min on collection.

Waited an hour for the food, the app said delivered however I didn’t receive anything. I called the store to enquire and was told “sometimes the drivers take them home to eat” and that another pizza will be made and be with me within 30 minutes. Fast forward another hour and the food is still nowhere to be seen. Absolute joke to be waiting 2 hours for a delivery that’s a 5 minute drive down the road.

Placed the order 5:25 took until 7:05 for someone to answer the phone!!!!!! Calling for 45 minutes to find out where on earth our order was as it had disappeared from the app too!!!! Young girl answered and said there was an issue and had to be cooked again! Ok that’s fine mistakes happen but at least have the thought of “maybe we should tell the customer” and to just not bother answering the phone for over 45 minutes of me constantly calling! Luck they answered when they did as I was just getting dressed to get a taxi to the place to see what on earth is going on!!!! And the pizza order was wrong! But by the time it arrived I couldn’t be bothered at this point!!!!!! Absolutely abysmal!!!!!

Ordered a meal online and twice the tracker has updated to a later delivery time. Now it's saying it can't track my order. Tried to ring them numerous times but no answer and the phone just goes dead. Very poor service so far.

I politely requested NO JALAPENOS OR SALSA on my Doritos Cheese Nachos. Just the hot cheese sauce. I cannot eat spicy foods anymore. It's a shame because I love spicy food. You're supposed to take note of dietary requirements when prepping an order. Please do better next time.

Ordered 2 drink only one arrived. Asked the delivery he said only one was given to him, where as on the bill it was clearly stated 2. This is not the first time this is happening.

Terrible service!!! Ordered food from this restaurant for delivery when it arrived it was burnt to a crisp. It was uneatable. When i called to ask if the food could be replaced i was told “it is what it is” the gent on the phone then told me that i was having attitude. When i asked for his manger he told me he was and there was no one higher than him from my knowledge and others in these kinds franchise they have a business manager and when asked for head office number we are told to give it. When i asked he told me no and when i asked for his name he also told me no. He kept raising his voice and having a pop at me!!!! So now left with food i can’t eat which means money down the drain!!!!!

Absolutely fantastic service from Pizza Hut Newport (Sam). Ordered a collection tonight and when returning home there was a small mistake on the order. After giving them a call Sam said he would deliver a new pizza as soon as he could. In 20 minutes he’d delivered a fresh order. Great service! Thanks

My son ordered a pizza as a treat for himself (first pay day), but put it under our old address by mistake. Upon enquiry, the branch kindly remade his order so we could collect. Was ready in 20 minutes, no problems. Very helpful staff and very much appreciated. One happy boy and one happy mum. Thank you very much Cardiff Road foe the extra effort and great customer service.

The pizza looked like it had been kept warm somewhere cheese was congealed and just barely warm the base was chewy It was not fresh by any means

I was pleasantly surprised at the wonderful service provided by this Pizza Hut. The store did not have any potato skins and just eat wasn’t updated so as a compensation the store manager Gareth send some chicken strips and Cheese Garlic bread. He was apologetic and explained the error and his customer dealing is way above what I expected. Thank you 🙏

Not being from the area, this Pizza Hut Delivery outlet was just a 10 minute drive from where we were staying. I ordered online for collection at 5.45pm. It was easy to find (right opposite Gwent Police HQ!), parked outside with ease. The pizza's were ready exactly ontime, they were as ordered and were more than satisfying. The chap that served me was really polite and friendly. The only issue I have is with the online order system (not specific to this outlet) it promised some free items if I created an online account. I did. The free items were not in the order. Not a big deal. It was good value for money.

Won't deliver even though it keeps popping up on my justeats as available. Don't see why the wouldn't delivery, just eats has delivered further before.

Dry food, no sauce or cheese, cold and disappointing

Worst pizza we've ever had. Dough was dry and so overcooked. The toppings were all solid to the point we have cuts on our gums from eating it. Would've been happier with a 99p smart price pizza.

Not a great dining experience. Ordered about about quarter past 5, and were told it would be ready about 6 to quarter past. They cancelled our order (10 min after already accepting it) because they didn't have the desert we wanted (we would have been happy to switch deserts). So we had to re-enter our order, resulting in a later delivery slot. When the food arrived half an hour later than our original plan, the pizza was barely warm, the ice cream was runny, and they had given us the wrong drink. Picking somewhere else next time.

Awful, bad quality cheese on the pizza, unfresh dough base, flavourless tomatoe sauce, not hot and bubbly, but dry, cold and unappealing. Side, underseasoned, undercooked and cold.

My pizza was not cooked properly and all the cheese was smothered all over the top of the box and was pretty much dough left on the pizza to eat. ruined my night as i was just sitting down to watch love island. I would like a refund quite frankly.

I made a mistake with the garlic sprinkle rung up lady said she would change it but come out garlic sprinkle was on there we wanted classic crust no garlic sprinkle a little bit annoyed as lady said would swap it on the phone but Pizza was ok

Pizza quality was so poor. overloaded the pizza with so much toppings and was a mess, never have I had a pizza from there which has been so thin. They don’t even pickup the phone in the shop, to avoiding complaints I guess.

Haven't had pizza hut in about 20 years and it tastes vile. The dough is a chewy mess as though there's no yeast in it at all.

Uber cancelled at the delivery time after 40 mins with no explanation.
