The best restaurants in Neath Port Talbot South Wales

Rhiannon was brilliant as usual. Even memorises out order as it rarely changes. Lovely food was a bonus. Really busy but good was quick and service was prompt.

Really enjoyed my food with massive portions. Cash only which is not convenient. The menu offered various forms of potato but we were told we could only have chips. My scampi and chips were great but hubby wasn’t that impressed with his steak and ale pie, with chips. Strangely it was Sunday lunch time but no Sunday lunches were on offer. Amused by the old electric light switch and bifold door in the ladies toilet. Someone spends time cleaning the many very shiny horse brasses around the pub.

The driver forgot our drinks, said someone would bring it to us. An hour later (food had been finished) I called the restaurant to be told the original driver didn't inform them of the missing drink, he just popped in, picked one up and would take it to us. If he had told the restaurant, they would have sent one much earlier, but it's an hour later and nothing. Very unhappy with the service.

at a wedding for the day and stayed overnight the food was fantastic, lovely comfortable room and a great breakfast, for anyone staying in the area I would highly recommend this place

We stayed for the Sunday Slumber package We had Sunday dinner which was awful tough meat and no taste to the veg which was only peas and carrots The bathroom in our room was dirty and the bin broke

I treated my husband to Sunday lunch today at The Twelve Knights. I have to say we were not disappointed. The Sunday lunch was excellent value for money (he had roast beef and I had spinach tart). The portion sizes are extremely generous. We both agreed that the mashed potato was the best we have eaten in years. We will definitely be back.

Worst fish in my life had large cod but all batter and little fish finger inside and bad smell too through in the bin never go again

Order was late, food was cold, food was tasteless, aweful customer service , rang them and they pretended they could not hear me . Never again will I order from here, rude service horrible food.

I ordered the kebab platter. When it arrived it was cold. The lamb was so tough and fatty I couldn't eat it. The mint sauce from the chutney tray was just thick lumps. Very disappointed.

Worst meal I have not eaten in years, I literally didn't eat more than a couple of mouthfuls.I ordered curry. It had a burnt taste, the Poppadum's were greasy. The rice was Yuk.The Naan bread was cold ? How can anyone prepare, cook and serve food of such poor quality astounds me. The refurbishment looks great, but the awful quality of food means we will not be returning any time soon.

Very disappointed, you'd expect the windows to be pristine in a restaurant but they were disgusting all the time we were there. Menu does not change! Anyone staying more than a couple of days will go elsewhere. Very expensive food, waited an hour for a steak that was tiny and tough for £ 26 . No vegetables served with it just a sauce and chips. Fish and chips £14.95 - they were okay but not worth the price, there's a great chippy around the corner! Menu was boring and expensive. Coach passengers received a far better menu than we did, a roast dinner. I feel every restaurant should offer a nice roast dinner on the menu. Breakfast was okay, BUT the old fashioned toaster was extremely slow, it took 3-4 minutes to very lightly toast one side of the bread, it needed to be put through a second time however someone else has put bread in so we couldn't make a decent slice of toast on the mornings we were there. Why not invest in a couple of 4 slice toasters to make it easier for everyone? Teas and coffees were outside the dining room so you had to go and get your own, it would be nice if staff brought refills around. The coffee seemed watered down to me, very poor. I could not in all honesty recommend this restaurant. Long wait for food, coaches got priority.

Lovely friendly and helpful staff. Spotless restaurant. Food very good. Would definitely this subway again. Had a meal deal including the tex mexan - very nice.

Excellent food - good service BUT I RECOMMEND EATERN STAR TO CHANGE FROM KUK’d They took my payment and the order didn’t go through. Re-ordered with no issue. However, ten days later I am still waiting for the refund from the first order. Several emails and nothing. Read the Kuk’d reviews before you use them again. I certainly won’t pay through them at any place in future . Appalling service from Kuk’d.

Best Chinese food in Port Talbot by far!!! We’ve tried others but nothing is as good. We’ve even converted some of our friends over to Wok U Like

Was ok- delivered pretty quickly and what we recieved was hot. Chicken was a bit 'chewy' and one kebab didt have the lettuce etc as requested. I'd probably try elsewhere before ordering again
