£6.80 for a shockingly small fish. Batter all stale and fish was dry. Women on the counter with black hair seemed to have an attitude. Because a couple asked for fish after me. You work in a fish shop love. Do your job

Nice staff. Terrible fish fingers. Small with grey fish. Definitely not Birds Eye or any other quality fish finger. Will I buy again? Definitely not !

Had cod and Evans pie and chips there today...fast service and polite staff. Fish cooked fresh. Excellent quality and piping hot . Thank you.

Luke warm chips, staff with a disgusting attitude and a £2.50 portion of chips not even big enough for a child. Shame this place has stayed open after COVID. Would have been better going to their decent shop in Briton Ferry with non attitude,friendly staff.

Paid for food and was told there's a 5 min wait for chips so I said ok I'll wait outside with my dog. Do I waited right outside the shop and 3 people who paid after me had been served and left so I went back inside and asked about my food turns out the chips had been done awhile and I was told "its busy sorry i forgot" I paid first and was clearly visible directly outside the glass window, hadn't gone here in a while as last time my large chips was tiny and was only given half a pot of gravy. Good food absolutely terrible service.

I don't know what's happened to this chippy? It was great as Phils, it wasn't all bad when the baileys first had it, but I went in there tonight, rock hard white chips, sausage in batter hard enough to crack your teeth? And curry that literally fell out of the tub in one lump it was so congealed? All in all this place has gone to the dogs, ill stick with Fairfield chippy. 2 put of 5 is being generous

Tha chips were cooked and and very nice what there was of them!!! When I looked at the packs of them wrapped I asked the lady is this everything? as they were quite small!!. Well got home starving (otherwise I'd have taken them back)!! and asked for my money back. I'd paid for a regular chips and if I had 20 chips in a pack I rarely eat bread but had to to fill up I won't be going back feel totally robbed!!

Worse portion of chips ever had wouldn't even feed a child an also served another person before me while I was waiting never again chip shop around the seafront much nicer an proper portion!! Sorry never again!!

Large chips and a undercooked sausage in batter. Just under £5 Portions extremely small wouldn't fill up a child. Last time i ever go here after all my portion are getting worse and worse wouldn't recommend it nicer chip shop around the conor . Best off finding another local chip shop. Who does a fare portion for what you pay for feels like your just giving your money away especially when your still hungry after your food .

We have just moved into the area and it's my birthday today so we thought we would stop at the cop shop chippy for the first time. First impressions definitely do count!!!!! The first thing I noticed in entering was how immaculately clean and well organised everything is!!!! Then we noticed the size of the portions!!!! And delicious!!! Cannot fault anything from the cleanliness service portion size and deliciousness. Will be using this in as our regular!!!!! Thanks!!!!! Trudie and Steve Kitchen

Absolutely awful. Food was mediocre. Small portions, not worth the money. The customer service was absolutely non existent. The woman was so rude, and had a disgusting attitude. She spoke to us as if we were scum, and you could clearly tell she didn’t want to be there. The way she spoke to everyone was disgusting Will absolutely not ever return here. How can you employ such rude, condescending and downright awful staff.

Always go to Bailey's beautiful food freshly cooked and at reasonable prices..... Could of been a 5 star if they open more and longer

Hit and miss, sometimes the food is of good quality and cooked perfectly, other times the chips are white a bit hard in middle. Potions are very small for the price

We had a fantastic day at Aberavon beach, where we enjoyed playing crazy golf, eating a picnic on the beach and visiting the children's play area. On the way home we decided to order food from Bailey's chip shop The chip shop was busy and there was a small queue outside. Once inside we ordered a risole and chips, steak and kidney pie with chips and a small sausage in batter with chips. The staff were friendly and the food was ready quickly. The food tasted great and the portion sizes were very good.

I drive 2 miles each way to use the cop shop chippie simple because it’s really good food and good size portions at a good price and friendly service,what more could you want

Had fish and chips yesterday at sandfields, the fish was well over cooked and dry and the chips were cold , again . Binned the lot , not good !!! Won't be back .

The young brat working tonight in the chip shop doesnt half like to think she is something special. All she acts like is a foul mouthed little girl. The manager was just as bad. The language off the two of them towards myself for having a disabilities so i am exempt from wearIng a mask is disgusting. And i havent even started on the food yet. The fish was cold and very greasy. The chips was supposed to be a large and cooked. They were more of a small portion hard and under cooked and the 3 sausages were cold in the middle and i had to put the gravy in a saucepan to warm up as it was freezing. Overall what a pathetic attempt of customer service and satisfaction. Can guarantee i will not be going there ever again. WORSE CHIP SHOP EVER.

Awful service awful good the manager and the young girl serving terrible management . There the most grumpiest people I've seen very rude aswell . Awful food I asked large everything and I had small . It was disgusting the chips were Raw and soggy like they were warned up the nite before don't even get me started on the rest of the food and the prices are terrible so expensive

Some of the products have been inedible. Should throw away food that is stale, not warm it back up.

You expect a minimum standard of food and service in a chip shop in this country. The food was bland and the owner was miserable and ignorant. Would never go there again. Avoid if you can.

I go here frequently and I've noticed lately that I don't always get what I ask for and still get charged the same price, and I've also noticed that the portion sizes have gotten smaller but the price has not changed

Me and my colleagues have been frequenting Bailey for years as we work close by. The Bailey's special is a particular favorite, value for money, non greasy full English that doesn't alter in quality over time. The vegetarian breaky is really good also. The owners are lovely people who always make us feel welcome.

Been coming here for breakfast almost every other week for the last six years in large number due to working in the industrial estate. Came here for chips a few months ago and had a poor portion of chips, thought it was just a one of bad serving. Decided to come here again and still the portion of chips which were so called large were about a cone and a half, would even class them as a small. So I told the girl seriving that I didn't think they were a large as when she packed them there looked tiny. She replied in a sarcastic manor that I'm a good wrapper. Also told her that i won't come here again, she again replied "don't then it doesn't bother me". Poor portions poor customer service.

We absolutely adore this Fish bar as they make the best chips in Port Talbot & Neath..the owner's are friendly, efficient and can't do enough for their customers..we highly recommend Bailey's as they blow the competition out of the water 💖

Always have good food whenever I visited. Always clean and good food. Handy diner next door if you fancy a sit down meal.

Had rissole and chips. Other half had pasty and chips. The pasty was microwaved to within an inch of its life and inedible. Very poor for them.

Took my daughter here for a treat as we haven't been for a while and she loves patsy and chloe. They used to have a few good deals my daughters was meal deal two regular chips large sausage and a drink £2.70 now its £3.40 and the chips are now small as you can see in the picture she wanted her sausage in batter which i thought would be a few pence extra how wrong i was. Two meal deal two's one with batter £7.70 so a bit of batter cost 90p. This is the last they have lost two loyal customers.

Excellent chip shop freandly staff very good food.

Visited the takeaway today and asked for 2 x medium chips please... definately reconsider next time... not even enough for a sandwich each.

Lovely clean fish and ship shop. Staff clean and also very helpful. Good choice on menu and all at reasonable prices.

My daughter and I visited Baileys on Saturday night for our treat as i only have her weekends. We walked into the shop it was busy so had a little wait. With the rush over the two girls one serving the other cooking both had big smiles and were friendly and chatty they apologised for the wait. The chips were fresh golden crisp soft in the middle perfect. Fairly priced, decent chips if a bit tight on amount. Clean and tidy, bit rough outside with kids smoking and swearing.

This is a real staple of the area. Good honest chippy fair at good prices, service always good and very friendly. Be sure to try the Irish curry sauce and a piece of fish which is always cooked fresh.

By far the best chip shop in port talbot bar none, sometimes you have queue thats because its all about quality, well worth the wait, I have always gone here, tried others and not a patch on Bailey's, I dont live near Bailey's anymore, however, go out of my way to go there, even though there are a few closer chip shops, always recommend this place, great staff even better food!!!! X

I am giving a 1 star for the service and not the food, every time I go there between 12 and 1 there is a big que and 1 serving, they should look after their customers

Very clean. Looks nothing from outside. But it's clearly very clear. The fish and ship take way leads into restaurant, but you order take in out in the chip shop area. Which is good and sensible. We wanted quick freshly cooked food. Sat in their cafe attached.

The greatest experience of my life was in this fantastic chip shop, for once I bit into those glorious crispy golden chips, I could see my place in the universe.

Normally excellent. Off par tonight. Bad chips, greasy, powdery and earthy. They tried to over charge us £1.90, had to query price. Then didn't give us all the food we ordered either. Very disappointed
