Way too slow, in the drive- trhrj queue for 15 minutes wasn't even particularly long. Has ordered on the app, then get asked to park up to wait. Standard order nothing plain or anything.

A nightmare of a place only go there coz the kids like it they can never get an order right always something missing.

Good breakfast muffin, coffee that's not extortionately priced, and good service. Downsides are tables not cleaned thoroughly between customers, and music too loud.

Food is slapped together the bacon burget.I had more bacon in the tray along with salad than I had in my burger bap.I waited 25m for my 'fast food' I went inside as there was a queue at the drive through. Clear to me the drive through was the priority.

Food ordered is always wrong, ask for plain, on the receipt it says plain and given a normal burger on a number of occasions. Food missing from order on regular basis. Breakfast muffins hard as nails, unable to eat. Waiting at drive thru for ages on a regular basis wating for a member of staff to take order, drive thru queue takes ages to go through. Maybe when you hire staff, train them the correct way in the first place. These problems have been going on for years, if I didn't have children I would never give them a penny of my money again. Sort you staff out Glynneath McDonalds.

I popped in to pick up some food I’d ordered using the app. The app was playing up and not responding as it’s frozen. Staff were prompt to acknowledge me and ask if I’d been severed. I was quickly served and the issue resolved. I did not have long to wait for my food.

Stopped for a coffee and burger very fast service friendly lady brought our order over , nice burger and lovely coffee clean toilets .plenty of parking .

Great mountain views and to be fair the place was clean. Service however was extremely slow. The burgers were cold and dry. On the plus side the chips were hot. We also ordered an additional 2 Happy meals to take away for another family member, after we ate. These took so long we could have ordered them when we sat down with our food. Slow service and food was poor.

Quick treat come home from football

So ordered 2 double sausage and egg mc muffins one without cheese both with slice of bacon Also ordered pancakes with syrup and cheesy flat bread with 4 hash browns. So it's not the end of the world but I paid extra for the bacon and the 4 hash browns. Bacon was missing off one of the Mc muffins and there was 2 hash browns short. Bit frustrating but just going to have to check and get my husband to check everything from now on before leaving.

Not very happy. As you would not take my Scottish £10 today .Scotland is part of the UK .I think this very sad

Sat in drive through for 15 min while they served four cars before me left without anything awful.

Visited this McDonald’s today and received rude customer service from a girl taking orders at the drive through 😡 she was so impatient and blunt. She kept repeating herself when we didn’t answer her question within 2 seconds of her asking, my partner asked what the coffee options were and she replied bluntly with “there’s lots of options, which one would you like”

Yet again ordered fries and coffee cl8ck and serve and yet aga8n fries brought out in try not in a bag (Cross contamination as those plastic boxes dont get cleaned between orders) and the coffee well more like hot milk and only half full even though large was ordered call here on way to work everywhere n always the same

Popped in to order but there was an issue with the machine printer so we couldn't get an order number. A kind lady, working her first shift, sorted everything and waited with us to ensure all was correct. Food was nice too

Well we had been on the road a few hours and came across this mc donalds the drive thru was busy and was inside however what i did notice is how well the staff were communicating with esch other there was issues with the touch screen order menus and the staff were straight on it We ordered via the onscreen menu and ive never been served hot food so fast the kids were really happy and even commented that the food was really nice it was table service and the young girl who bought it to is was very friendly and helpful This mc donalds is a shining example of how the restaurant should work they put other stores to shame The bathroom facilities were clean as was the restaurant A huge thank you to you all you do an amazing job you should be aknowledged by the headoffice of which i will be sending an email Your a very very important part of the mc donalds franchise and you go to show that it can work no matter how big or small the enviroment i truly hope my email and this review goes to the staff at this location get to see this Thank you so much

Clean fast great customer service

It's McDonald's. Pretty sure everyone on the planet knows what it is. Breakfast here was awesome today. Early morning long drive back from Hereford and the food actually tasted fresh rather than sitting in the heater for who knows how long. Ordered in the app and the person who brought food was friendly & happy

Always use this location as convenient to get to. Good parking and food selection sufficient.

Arrived at 8pm, wifi poor so struggled to get self serve machines to work. No soft drinks available, special burgers advertised and on nenu but also not available. Staff member was polite and apologised for all the problems. Luke warm meal arrived at the table, it was so cold in there we couldn't wait to leave, other customers getting annoyed and frustrated, doors wide open and freezing inside. Not a good experience, food was poor

One of the best McDonald's I've been in. Great service, spotlessly clean, great views over the mountains, very spacious... and extremely pleasant Staff. Thank you for making my visit a good experience.

I'm never upbeat & positive about the place or the food, my Granddaughter wanted a mc flurry but the pus for me is the coffee is good & cheap

Met a good friend here today, very busy drive through and busy restaurant. We had a breakfast Mcmuffin and coffee, we stayed for 3 hours chatting and catching up on recent events. Not once did any member of staff try to move us on. Throughly enjoyed my visit, only complaint the floor seemed slippery, but that may be down to my choice of footwear.

Fast food as you expect. Food was tasty and staff were helpful.

Decided to have drive through, we was kept waiting for 15 min while the queue got bigger and bigger, gave up in the end pulled out and went in, told they we’re waiting for someone’s order. I said why not put them in a bay to keep the queue moving! Some manager told me that if they ask people to wait in the bays then the hold up will still be there? Not if a person who I know next to is jut ordered a coffee? How is that going to hold up the queue. Absolutely shocking it took a total of 40min just to get food. Worse McDonald’s in the area.

Fab place , best burger and plant burger we have had in a McDonald's! Fresh , quickly made and the quality was outstanding. We will definitely call back soon .

A very interesting McDonald's. Food was nothing more than average, burger and nuggets were a little dry. What makes this McDonald's stand out is the gorgeous mountain views surrounding it. Worth visiting for that alone, but not worth making a detour for

Do not like the way the staff treat the customers, says it closes at 11 on website but yet me and my friends arrived at 10:30 only to be told my the workers it’s closed, even though it specifically states it closes at 11 on their website. This issues was raised at 26/08/23 at 10:30pm

Love this McDonald's. The staff are always friendly and the self machine is very handy to use. It is quieter during weekdays than weekends. The price is cheaper than the ones on motorway. 😊👍

Nice store, not too busy and short wait time. They managed to mess up my burger as I requested no onions but apparently that also means nothing else either so not happy with that but due to time constraints not able to get that rectified.

You half filled the large fries! I ordered 2 and managed to fit both into a single holder. They were also soggy. I’ve never had crispy chips from here. You also botched the chocolate milkshake mixture. I often get it from here and tonight it was disgusting. Too much syrup or powder. Doesn’t taste like a milkshake at all. It’s also super dark drown. It’s usually a pale brown.

Service is slow not very nice place to visit food is not edible I wouldn't recommend this place to anybody

A nice quick breakfast before hitting the road for our trip. Enjoyed the egg muffins, pancakes and their balanced coffee.

After being in a que er finally ordered no problem. Get to window one to pay. No one there :/ after 5 mins my husband did call out. Young lad came no apoligie nothing just said the price and that was that! Did not understand why he wasn't there as there was 3 cars in front of me and lost count of how many were behind me so surely they would of wanted to get through the line of people to catch up abit. After obviously waiting and calling out for someone the que infant had gone. Pulled up at collection window. Another 5 mins wait and again no communication to say I'll be right there. Or please bare with. I know it's fast food but abit of communication and definitely some manners would not go a miss. I will certainly not be rushing back anytime soon. Do not know what is happening with mcdonalds lately but have found many I have visited over the months in different places have massively gone down hill.

I had quarter pounder meal. The burger was fine but the fries were undercooked white and greasy. McDonald's are so hit and miss with their fries. This wasn't the best or worst one I've had to be fair.

Waited 20mins for the click and collect after ordering online for collection. Food eventually arrived and is cold. Chips ate not even cooked- they're all pale and floppy. "Large" chips fitted into the happy meal packaging which is ridiculous considering the price! Big Mac had big bits of grisle in it- yuk! Weird how you can wait for something and then have it uncooked and cold when you get it. Awful

Sunday carvery and its only £6.95 orwith pudding, £10,great value

Typical McD's prefab "restaurant". Not Haute Cuisine, but great for an easy way out for busy parents and grandparents. Here everything cooked is hot, as it should be, the nuggets are tasty and the option for 20 pieces to share, is great for 2 to 4 kids, depending upon appetites. One slightly negative criticism, came from a 10 yr old, who commented that there was "a bit too much salt on the chips", which is a fair assessment, surely we are quite capable of putting our own salt on, if we want any at all! That goes for any condiment or dressing, it's virtually impossible to remove such things, once put on, but so much easier to add according to personal tastes.

Such a great little restaurant and friendly staff too.

I ordered double big mac meal and a double cheese burger meal with strawberry milkshakes at a cost of £17.23 from Glynneath. I arrived home to Ammanford and was looking forward to my meal and my partner and to my disgust and disappointment saw that there chicken nuggets and a small chicken burger children's portion. I can't afford to pay £17.23 normally but this was a treat. Unbelievable I had the wrong order.

Usual service, clean facilities and friendly staff

Rubbish always full of kids and Eastern European delivery guys speaking in their own language incredibly rude. 9 times out of 10 your order is wrong and the coke is always warm and flat. I'd never go there is I didn't have to take my kids.

Ah yes, ooman meat, salt and peppered, maybe even seasoned but definitely not the parts the elite like to eat.. Kalergi plan working wonders on cwmgwrach and surrounding areas.

The multinational fast food restaurant that doesn't offer the same quality service than any other location I've ever experienced before... It's as if the management has never visited another store.

Had a amazing experience here, had a very helpful staff member called Harvey who helped me when my order was wrong :)

I asked if there is straws in the bag and they said yes then I checked the bag and there was no straws in the bag... Very disappointed the workers lied.

Dont usually go to McDonalds but was pleasantly surprised

Great location for a stop off for some food. But, its location is also a downside due to how busy it gets. Does not offer delivery service as of yet, which I think is a good thing, but it does the standard collection, drive-thru, and collection point via the app. Staff are always friendly and professional on all occasions I've visited. Quality of food and service does drop when the restaurant is busy with drive thru and collection. Breakdown of communication between staff from sheer amount of orders and staffing levels in the restaurant, which unfortunately results in confusion, cold food, missed items, or very long wait times. However, staff are always friendly and professional and apologetic in these situations. I'd recommend going when it is less busy, usually early in the morning for breakfast, and when the lunch menu opens for lunch. Otherwise, late evening to avoid end of school/work traffic

Friendly and helpful staff, feels like an upscale special dinner place, as people are very polite, well behaved or maybe they just don't go out much outside their area.

The drive thru was so long we parked and went in. All machines were down so we got in the queue where after 5 mins waiting we was told now serving drive tgrough only. I wasnt happy so sat at a table and me and my friend ordered using the app. A leap hole but at least we got our meals. There still was no sign up saying that the restaurant was closed, people were still coming in and being turned away.

Well you know what youe getting when you go to a McD's...this one had friendly service, door to car delivery helpful peeps but an especially nice burger...two straws needed as that shake was thick!!

Wonderful service. Clean, toilets spotless. Staff warm,friendly and welcoming.

This is the worst McDonalds I've been to, which is annoying as It's my local. The chips are ALWAYS soft, they're never crispy, even when you eat in. They're obviously being left on the side. They also miss food items frequently. Not a great place and it hasn't changed in years. I'd also love to have the burger in the bun at some point, not hanging out the side with the toppings.

Excellent mc donalds. Clean. Efficient service. The breakfast egg burger was the most delicious i had ever had. The yolk was not dry like normally we get. Good views all around.
