Convenient location just off the dual.plenty of parking and outdoor area

The staff are always friendly here and you get your food pretty fast which is more Ethan can be said for a lot of McDonald’s stores. There is an outdoor play area with a slide for children to play which you don’t normally see at McDonald’s.

We only go to this one when absolutely no other choice is available. More often than not the food is terrible. Thrown together, gold, vile. Once or twice it has been tidy but normally that's in the night.

Sat outside as the weather was nice and there's a small play thing. Outside bench could have done with a clean and couldn't order off of the app as there was no option to collect the food so didn't get any points or discounts which is annoying.

Easily the worst mcdonalds I have been to globally. Staff are unhelpful and sometimes a little rude. Food is often cold. When you have a delivery items are missing. Mcdonalds shift the blame to uber, but the bag was sealed and it's happened 10 times with 10 different delivery drivers. Mcdonalds on general the price has rocketed up. I cannot get over how the acceleration of price has exceeded its competitors.

I'm diabetic and I was having trouble ordering on the screen and on the app on my phone . The assistant was very unsimpathtic and said I'm no medic . I didn't need a medic just help with my order

Thought that Mc Donald's is open 24/7 went there around 2:30am as I work nights and needed something to eat i get there and the drive thru is blocked off with cones seems like the decided to have an early finish

You can combine refueling and a snack.

Forget how crap McDonalds is really.. Then slip and have it again.

Charging car and once again petrol cars are parking in EV spaces and not giving a damn. Can something be done about this? It takes them 5 minutes to refuel their car, our EV ones take up to an hour sometimes. Food was ok I guess, lots of tiny fryer scraps in the chip holder, then I discover the Philly cheese is just a double quarter pounder with cheese sauce and onions instead of ketchup mustard and pickles. Save your money guys!

Unfortunately messed up order again, cheese on item despite ordering without (and packaging label stating without). Also items missing from order.

I ordered via the McDonald’s app and food came relatively quickly. However, the happy meal was missing (the drink was there but no food) so I called the uber driver asap. He said the bags were sealed when he picked them up and that I should call McDonald’s themselves. Whoever answered the phone literally could not care less that my daughters food was missing, I had no apology for their mistake, and she just told me I’d have to order again. Now I’m not one to get angry but the response I got really did infuriate me, I asked what do you expect me to do when my daughter now has no tea, and she just replied “you’ll have to order again” and I said you should be sending the food out to me to which they replied “it’s not their problem as uber is the only one that delivers not McDonald’s themselves.” Bless the uber guy though, I called him back and he said he was heading back to the restaurant soon as would ask where the order was for me. (Sadly I didn’t hear anything so I went through the live chat to get a refund) Totally not his fault this is all on McDonalds incompetent staff for not being able to put 4 items in a bag. I mean, this review can’t get much worse but I will mention anytime I’ve ordered from here the food has arrived cold, but I’ve let it slide as we usually order when we don’t have any other options for tea. Will not be ordering again!!!

I am disabled and ordered by phone and paid by credit card. Like a fool, I mentioned I was disabled. The order was taken but never delivered to me, and I was never refunded either. AVOID!

The worst mcdonalds on planet earth. That's right, the worst of a global franchise. They ALWAYS mrss something up or forget something. Bad food, dreadful service. How can you mess up mcdonald so consistently?

Manager said she simply couldn’t go round to the burger boards and tell them I didn’t want lettuce as I completely forgot to say on delivery but was very rude about it and swore at me after I asked her to go round to the kitchen and simply ask for no letttuce but bc it wasn’t on the label she dismissed my complaint and de justified what I was trying to adress. I know full well she could’ve gone and asked as funnily I’ve worked I fast food and it’s happened to me in the past and we’ve done it with no worry or complaint at all.

Service is a bit slow, they are not concerned with providing good service to customers, they are more concerned with looking pretty and often I have to wait without any other customers because they are busy with each other.

It's a McDonald's! One of the most convenient food places on the planet. This one always gets my order right.

Put up a sign to warn not to to park in an area everyone used to park at. I used to go here and get McDonald's and then something from the garage and got charged a £60 fine.

Let a driver take stone cold food and admitted this when we called and said not our responsibility. Arrived absolutely stone cold, melded together, congealed. Supposed to be fast food, we know it's fast crap but we pay for a n extra service as well as the original and even the drive through isn't worth it. We called up the place and the member of staff was just rude. Delivery fee, service fee, bags and the profit they make. Never again. And was hardly before.

Always forget something. Forgot my chips so just had a small cheeseburger and four nuggets which personally wasn’t enough for me. Also don’t make the mistake of parking in the not obviously a different car park that is next door to the McDonald’s as you will and I have got fined £100 (it’s impossible not to make this mistake really when asked to park up)

Long wait after being served at drive through. Food was cold and missing items. This is normal here.

Had my food delivered cold and they won’t even answere the phone got no way to get there and can’t get refunded as they messed up so many times uber won’t refund me no longer this McDonald’s is beyond a joke

It's McDonald's. But they continually make silly errors both via the app orders and in person.

They are fab here. And the food is hot and it doesn't take too long to arrive.

Parked up for 20 mins waiting for drive through order after a 10 HR shift, got home to family to find the wrong order! Not the first time this has happened.

Absolutely abysmal service!!! If you want to guarantee to have your order wrong, with rude service on the side, then this is the place to go! I can quite honestly say that I have never had a correct order from here, but besides that, the service is disgusting when I take back my incorrect order. It’s almost as if the staff play a game of how many orders they can get wrong in one day. I will never visit here again as I’m so shocked at how terrible the service is, let alone the complete lack of compassion from such extremely rude staff!

The manager Kayla in this branch needs serious training in the way in which she treats customers . She and her staff are extremely rude and unprofessional and cannot accept simple customer criticism about the poor service they provide to customers.

Shocking never gets order right

Been going here for around 7 years, every time something is missing from the order especially when you use the drive through, check your order before you leave or drive away from the drive through !

It's a McDonald's. You could be anywhere in the UK and you'd probably not tell the difference, they are that consistent. Like every MuccyDs, you're always hungry 20mins later but they fill a hole and that's what they're there for.

Called tonight at 10:10pm drive through closed front door locked not for the first time this has happened!! Place is a shambles

Food is standard McDonald’s. Staff are good. Twice this week I’ve called in to use the EV chargers and twice at least one space has been taken by an ICE car!! Very annoying. Manager should be moving them on.

Paid for a quarter pounder and got a tiny happy meal burger in a quarter pounder box! They get something wrong so often I’m begging to think it must be deliberate.

App lets me order, tells me out of stock of milkshakes and McFlurry (not uncommon), picked alternatives. Drove to the restaurant to collect but closed. Why can't the app notify customers that it's closed, it's on a dual carriageway so you have to keep driving in the opposite direction to other options. So very annoying.

Place was quite clean, including the toilets. Our order didn’t take that long. The staff member that helped us called Derrick was extremely helpful and understanding towards us as our ordering machine didn’t work properly, but shout out to him. Overall food was great drinks were great just quite busy.

Once again.... order was totally WRONG!!!!!! How hard is it to put the correct food in the correct bag??!!! I'm sure not all staff are thick... but the majority I've dealt with are. Worst McDonald’s I’ve ever had delivered. Always forget parts of the order not the first time either. This time two chicken nugget meals for a 3 year old and 6 year old as a treat for brilliant school reports. And no bloody chicken nuggets just a happy meal box with chips in. That was the last chance. Never going to use this one again. Burger King is king.

Good with orders inside, but when using the drive through they have forgotten to give me my chips on more than one occasion, and when I rang them they said too go back and pick them up but it wasn't worth driving two miles for a £1.49 large fries. Only reason I go there now is because it's the only place open when I finish work. Ice cream machine is always down

It's McDonald's. I'd be surprised if anyone didn't know what they were getting at this point However This one served hotter food than most so it was obviously cooked fresh and I've always been a bigger fan of their breakfast menu than anything else

Ordered a Mcrispy and was given an empty box. When I called I was told they couldn’t do anything and that’s what I ordered. Why would I spent £5 on an empty box

One of the worst McDonald's ever...

Had a meal the other night and the food was burnt and cold. I asked for no onions in the cheese burger hoping they will make fresh ones, to my surprise they just scraped the onions out the burger and put in extra ketchup which was leaking all out the sides of the burger. It looked like a prank that someone has done on me. I was talking to someone about my experience and they showed me photos of a similar thing that happened to them. Someone that prepares the burgers in the kitchen obviously doesn't like their job so they have fun by doing stuff to customers food. What else are they up to in that kitchen? Environmental health need to visit and the management need to kick out the ones that doing this. The manager gave me my refund and offered me a free meal, no thanks not again! It cost me fuel to return back to the restaurant and I had two hungry toddlers with me, who were crying. Never again will I visit the McDonald's in Skewen (A465) Go in the day time you will get nice food, go in the night time you will get bad quality food.

Went there for a treat today, but to wait ages for the food. We had a takeaway and parked around the corner as it was quiet only to find it wasn't very warm and one paper napkin between two. When you eat with your fingers you need napkins and to be honest I was in such a mess with the sauces going everywhere I won't be going there again, as it is the third time I have had not so good experience.

You will guarantee your order will be wrong or missing evertime. Every time I ordered from Mc. App every time i got missing half of my order and never get refunded. And customer service was terrible and disgusting. I ordered few minutes ago and got just two simple burgers without rest and the person who answered me was rude. They never double check order.

Staff are rude and useless everytime call there on way home from training for a drive through half of the order is missing and got to go back in and wait And there are a few members of staff that are very rude and got a lot of attitude

Absolutely dreadful service, rude staff apart from the really helpful guy who is cleaning the tables inside. We call here most Wednesday evenings and tonight was the worst experience by far, the guy on the drive through that took our order was just rude, then when we went inside to get sauces which they had forgotten to put in with our order, the same rude drive through guy was there saying to the helpful guy f*** them basically shouting abuse about us which we over heard. So who ever was at the drive through at around 8.30pm I hope your manager pulls you up on this poor behaviour!!!

AVOID THIS STORE!! Unreliable. Can’t recall the last time they managed to get an order right. They’ve certainly messed my daughter’s order one time too many. Never going there again. Never ordering through the app either. Think it’s time to complain to head office. They tell you a refund needs to be requested through the app yet the app tells you need to call the store. 🤷🏻‍♀️
