Mcdonald's Restaurants in Neath Port Talbot

Attended the drive through there at 10am on a Sunday with my family, prior to sports. We only wanted two bacon rolls and a cup of coffee. We were told from the off that there was no milk at the premises. Following this we had to park up and wait for the rolls. When I say wait, I mean wait - 25 mins (which I didn’t have) in total. It appeared that many other customers were in the same position and the parking / waiting was chaotic. Poor, very poor

Awful. Just keep taking people money and then have to wait 25 minutes in the car park for cold food to be brought out. Ridiculously bad service. Should’ve gone to greggs for breakfast

i waited 25 minutes for my food while there was no one else waiting i asked for no pickles twice and had pickles in my burger which im allergic to and my drinks were also flat and warm

This has to be the worst McDonald's in Great Britain, nearly everything I visit there is something missing in my order or they don't have it, today I called in to have some fast food as I was in a rush, there was 4 cars ahead of me in the drive thru so not too long of a wait it thought how wrong was I I 35 mins later I had my order with cold chips, no apology for the wait and when I enquired about the wait I was told nothing wrong just short staffed lol I would rather drive to another restaurant than go there again, surprised McDonald's let them run it like this tbh.

Modern McDonald’s food delivery is quick and plenty of parking available. All the usual methods of paying and ordering food

We ordered a side salad to try because I always wonder how good/bad it will be. Don’t bother ordering one though, it was an utter waste of a box. Lettuce mainly, seriously won’t do that again. Parking is also always an issue, cars everywhere, reversing, trying to park, trying to leave in such a small area..

The place was packed to order food, Waited ages for number to appear on board when food was picked up the burger and chips were cold. There were food orders sitting on the side to be collected for delivery Getting cold. Staff was helpful but would not go back to McDonald's people throwing food around. There was no management to put a stop to it. I'm very disappointed that people want to go out for a meal with their children and have to see this sort of behaviour.

Unfortunately the fries were cold this evening and after paying for 5 chicken selects, only 4 were in the box. No milk shakes available either. This is a fortnightly treat for my grandson and it was a bit disappointing today.

Kids love it ,Sue (lady who works there) is amazing with the kids..

Went on a whim with my best friend and my partner and went through the drive through. Took a solid 15 minutes for someone to even pick up on lane 2 (my friend and I both worked here before so we know that’s where the drinks are but also know it is possible to both do the drinks on the screen and take an order as we used to do it often). Then after we collect our food we get like maybe 5 minutes down the road before we realise we’re missing fries! We were all fuming but I had to convince my friend not to drive back to kick off. Absolutely shocking! Management really need to take a hard look at the reviews and see where they’re going wrong! Again, I’ve worked here before and know it’s a difficult job but seriously step your games up!

More often than not milkshake never in stock do not like ordering on the boards

As a disabled person I'm am not going to visit Port Talbot again I was a regular but I'm am sick of having to park outside on main road because it only has 2 disabled parking spots and they have been in use on at least 4 of my visits by uber and other said delivery people parking in the designated spots .😡😡🤬

Yet again the ice cream machine is down told the manager to please put a sign up before we get into the drive through months ago , Guess where they put the sign right where you talk and place your order so your stuck for 25 min ...once your already in the qué you cant get out of good tactics by the manager once your stuck you might have to buy something not great if you don't want anything else , so here's some advice because let's face it Ronalds not short of a few quid is he so please put the sign where we can see it before we get stuck in your bloody drive through there's a menu right in front use it for your SORRY DEAR CUSTOMER notice so we don't have to stuck 🙄🙄🙄 I'm not happy in fact I give up!!!! 🤣🤣😂😂😳😡😡

I visited the Port Talbot shop, the quality of the food is good. The staff are very welcoming and friendly. I will be eating there again.

Decided to pop into McDonald's in water street Port Talbot. Don't set foot in here unless you want your order completely wrong. Do not sit in either unless you want to go to McDonald's youth club. Full of kids shouting, fighting and swearing and none of the staff seem bothered about it. I won't be returning here.

ordered through the mcdonalds app to be delivered had missing items but as they use uber eats to deliver you have to contact uber eats by phone on a 0800 number who never answer. usless. dont ever order using there app

Why is that they can never get the Filet of Fish to sit inside the bread roll? Something to do with putting a square thing inside a round one? Must be very confusing for the staff who make these.

Drive thru on a quiet Tuesday evening about half seven, looking in the restaurant was empty. Two chicken select meals, over half an hour parked up in the grill area. Other drivers either side said they were waiting over a half hour too. No McFlurrys available again. No apology or comment from staff when it finally arrived and food wasn't that hot, my drinks had gone warm by then too. Not going back , happened a couple of times in the last couple of months, I think this is the worse franchise I've been to.

Service was good. Little slower than normal on this occasion in the Drive-Thru and the Breakfast sandwich was a little dry. I would visit again but wasn't quite as good as I've had elsewhere.

Nice food I went there with my friend I just hate that there were kids that were like 14 shouting and talking loud in the back while I was eating other than that good service and it tasted nice. Update: there's a new policy kids need to be with a adult to go in

Took 35 minutes go get food after ordering at drive thru and food was wrong when it did arrive. Worst McDonald's around by a long way, never have these issues at any other McDonald's.

Quick and simple food would recommend using the app to collect the points and speeds up the drive through process. Car park could be better. Struggle to leave parking space if busy

It was not my best visit to McDonald's. The food didn't taste as normal, and my drink was flat and warm. I won't be going to that McDonald's again.

The worst McDonald’s in the UK!! People who work there just don’t care, hate the management and the attitudes. Avoid like the plague. Whoever runs this place wants shooting UPDATE: 13/07/23 Nothing has changed still awful, missed my kids food out and didn’t care until I went back and threw my order over the counter. Words can’t describe how much I hate this place, about 6 employees were standing and chatting while people were waiting patiently. They’re all uni students who are not even bothered by what they serve, I hate this place and will never order again from this establishment. Manager needs an absolute smack because they don’t give 2 fuks.

There is always something missing with my orders! I always check at drive through anyway but I've just got home and the wrong breakfast muffin was put in the wrong wrapper.

Ordered via just eat on Saturday and had a hair in my burger. Never ordering from here again. P.S. WEAR HAIR NETS 🤮

Says open 24 hours but has regularly come here around 1am (after work) for the drive thru to be blocked by cones and the building closed. On 1 occasion, the door wasn't locked, and when we entered, we were told by staff that they're closed and we needed to leave. Every time I have been here in the last 12 months, the ice cream machine has always been out of use. And even occasionally drinks dispenser out of order at the same time forcing a small bottle of juice with a large meal. Food is regularly cold, and there's always typically something wrong or missing from an order to top all this off. Car park is like a youth club after school/college hours combined with the queuing out of the car park blocking in several parked cars waiting to leave. Overall, is a rather stressful experience.

Food was OK service ok no atmosphere at all and once again no milkshake machine working every time I visit McDonald's in the Port Talbot area the milkshake machines are never working

Poor service today. Side salads x 3 had no tomatoes ! No balsamic dressing, no accompanying sauces, that were ordered on the app either. When in the drive thru, you are very aware of people waiting. Next time I shall question the server before leaving the premises to ensure the order is correct. Not great !! Disappointed!!

Ice cream machine is never working been here 3 time this last week and each time it's not been working so no ice cream available, shocking

Out of the last 5 visits the milkshake/ice cream maker has been “out of order”, maybe it’s time to replace the very unreliable machine.

I got there to order milkshakes. We waited in the drive through for around 20 minutes and then a further 5 minutes for our order after paying. The whole time we were there, there were cages of frozen food outside the restaurant!! It was 25°C. I’ve no idea how long the cages were there for but the floor underneath was wet from defrosting food! There were staff outside smoking so why was the food not put into cold storage? It’s completely out me off going there again because I don’t if that food was refrozen or what! That’s unacceptable!

I've never had a delivery from here that wasn't missing multiple items. It's a bit frustrating, but usually it's fine. Just phone up support and get a refund on the missing items. However, this time was too ridiculous. Literally the majority of the order was missing. We ordered about 10 items and only 2 came, and it was stone cold and completely crushed and destroyed! It's beyond stupid.

Was rammed with people at 9pm at night, id imagine in the middle of the day its manic. Had to wait 30 mins for my order.

Numerous occasions they’ve messed up my orders or given the completely wrong order. I ordered a delivery last night and the order that was delivered to me was an eat-in order according to the recipes on it, and had nothing of my order in it. Staff are awful and the manager is extremely uncourteous and rude when trying to resolve the issues with the food.

I was told and bribed by the shifty manager GWENLLIAN I’d get a free Big Mac meal if I did a survey saying the place was great but when i did it it wasn’t free she scammed me then she wouldn’t come out and talk about it

This McDonald’s is bad because my fries didn’t have any salt, drink was flat, didn’t give no napkins and waited half hour for a drink not happy at all.

With some trepidation as it was BH called in for tea today. Really quick service, excellent, friendly, polite, staff ,who had probably had a very busy day. Meals ordered, were a steak stack and crispy chicken, both very well presented, hot and so tasty. Both were well cooked, crispy, fresh lettuce, onion, relish, bun , all really good. Chips excellent. Beverages were fine and finished off with a cream egg mcflurry, which was well mixed and so good. The whole experience and cost was a delight. Thanks so much all the staff for a great experience.

Worst McDonald's around, went to visit today, app said they where serving breakfast, deliveroo,justeat drivers all turning up to be turned away. Staff outside telling customers they are closed for 3-4hours. Never anything available to order on the app, always out of stock, same old excuses from staff, cleaning he milkshake and ice cream machine, rebooting the tills.

Have been here so many times and never had any issues but Sunday 🙈 we were off on a road trip and popped here on our way through the drive through to get breakfast. The food was freezing and burnt and our coffee ! the milk had gone off never tasted anything like it 🤢. I don't like to leave bad reviews and in fairness the staff were lovely but so disappointing and I was starving and could eat or drink any of it and that was both meals so we wasted our money and ended up having to pop somehwere else on top to get breakfast !!!

Drive through staff are brilliant. I will say always check you got your entire order before leaving the window as they are only human.

I ordered 3 big macs, 1 with no pickles, a chicken nugget happy meal, and 2 cheese burgers. My big mac with no pickles had pickles in it! All the food was cold.
