Check food before leaving, seems I ordered a meal but didn't get any chips

Best chicken in town, friendly staff. Eat in, ordered delivery / collections via their own website

Wrong order, missing items, really long wait, food was awful so we had to throw it all anyway. Cold old chips, chicken was over cooked and burnt. Waited 1 hour 20 mins for it and then we couldn't eat it. What is the point.

I had to have help getting my order right but the gurl was lovely, kind and helpful.. .thank god! The chicken was cooked perfectly...soft n succulent. The chips were spot on. The corn on the cob just melted in ur mouth. The apple pie...mmmmmm!!! Thanku tennesse. I avent ad a meal from u since last year n it was woth the wait! Xxx

Nice local place. The staff is friendly, quick service, a clean environment and tasty food. I recommend it for fried chicken.

Always been the tastiest chicken place, staff always lovely & reasonable prices. Don't let the dated decor put you off, it's lovely and clean, just as said, dated.

Had this a few times and have gone to the place and had the fresh cooked chicken but to my surprise I thought I'd order take away to be delivered only to get some backward dried up nasty chicken that looked like it was yesterdays and put back in to fry then sold to me not good for business so not a fan of this place no more and can understand why ther is only a few of these places left open I'm dun with there dryed up chicken 🤐

Ordered chicken in a bum with chips for 2 chicken was so dry I couldn't even bite through it also the chips were just as bad wish I'd seen the reviews before I ordered

They forgot my drink and I rang in and they were happy to send me one and then they rang back made me out to be a liar and as I was speaking hung up the phone and then refused to bring a drink up. Absolutely disgusting customer service and whoever was on the phone needs to go back to “customer service school” as I think it was the manger. Never again will I use it. So rude.

Had a meal from here today and couldn't have been more disappointed, chicken was like a day old and the friies were just dry, certainly not the best, sorry guys

Had an order yesterday been coming here for years never a problem until last night so disappointed we had our order to find our chicken strips burnt.

Tasty chicken and chips, very close to the train station and very speed service with a smile.

Had food to night and was wondering why I hadn’t ordered for ages, over price and chicken absolutely stinking and dry. Would never ever eat from here again!!

Shocking food bought Sunday. Nearly 18.00 spent on Just Eat ( review left there also ) Totally inedible. I have bought from here before . I phoned to say it was edible. I took photos but I cannot seem to upload them on here! But I will find somewhere to post the photos because it is hard to believe any company would serve food as bad as what we had. The customer service was awful from the girl answering the phone . Apparently no one there could help. So we spent money and had to bin our food. No phone call back. All I had was " we are busy " shocking.

My daughter ordered chicken from here, we asked for contact free and requested the order to be left and driver to knock when he delivered it, but when I open the door expecting to pick it up from the doorstep, he was standing there still holding it, which shocked me and I did bring this up with the driver, so much for social distancing, but then it came to the food, omg what a shock, some of the chicken was under cooked and the rest was over cooked, I used to eat here years ago after a night out but after tonight we won't be ordering from here again

Where do I start staff are friendly helpful , took my comments as intended and dealt with it professionally, delivery drivers fantastic and food lush... highly recommend delicious piping hot cant praise the take away enough .. definitely ordering again

Lovely food my nan works there and makes the best chicken on the planet

Ordered an online delivery, had 5 mins from order to finishing work. Had confirmation of order and waited the hour for delivery. From ordering to recieving phone calls, 5 mins. When i rang after 1 hour 15 mins I was told that "we rang, no answer phone. There you go" from 5/10 minutes after confirmation you could get hold of me. Im sorry but couldn't you try again' at somw point? Regardless of how busy you are. An email/text maybe? Poor service

This chicken shop has been here for as long as I can remember. Its clean and the food is always good, much nicer chicken than kfc

Chips were lovely. Only one of our six chicken pieces was freshly fried & succulent; of the other five chicken pieces, they were pretty darned dry and had obviously been on the hot rack waiting to be offloaded! One drumstick was dried solid and totally inedible!! Ribs were, as always, tasty, but the end part of one rib was stone cold!?? Coleslaw was not fresh!! Staff were friendly. Up your game TFC! You can do much better than this, I know it!!

The gravy from here in my opinion is better than kfc gravy bit of gravy on your chips and their chicken fillet burger extra mayo mmmm mouth watering goodness right there.

Not the best experience. Staff were friendly but the hygiene in the shop didn't look the best so skipped it in the end.

I know this is far from gourmet dining, but once in a while we enjoy this food. Last Sunday evening, I ordered pieces of chicken on the bone, no fries, while my wife had nuggets and fries. It arrived beautifully fresh, the chicken portions cooked perfectly, with the coating still crunchy and tasty. My wife enjoyed her fries and nuggets with dips. We could have eaten out for the same price, but this was a lovely treat. The only downside was the delivery time- one hour and twenty minutes and I feel that's a long time for 8.20 on a Sunday night.

Good prices here,nice chicken,i think better than kfc as its not slime fest,only thing is my son has had bad tummy after it the last twice,so we havent had it since,doesnt effect me tho,nice food and not stupid prices,gravy is the best and the chicken fillet sandwich,overall very nice.

Said theyd take 20 mins to deliver...its been two hours and im still waiting

i went there years ago when i went to neath college with my mates,was allways there for lunch,loved the food/fries and also the drinks. i havent been there for a while.maybe ill pop back there again someday.

Popped in for a quick eat , I had 2 pieces of chicken and a large fries , food came quickly , and was piping hot , very tasty , good meal , good price too.

Really lovely chicken,chips and gravy,better than a well known three letter takeaway in my book! Excellent delivery service,always hot and on time,cant beat it if you want tasty chicken. Brill.

Ohhhhhhhh mate the mega munch burger was abso peng a leng. Like seriously I want to marry that burger like the hashbrown is to die for and I would like to make love to that burger. The chips are lovely but I hate the fact I can never find the salt packets???? Like I lose them and omg the sauce is minging BUT THE MEGA MUNCH BURGER AND THE PLAIN CHICKEN BURGER. I would sell my soul for those burgers. I'm a slave for the burgers and I would kiss their feet.

Just ordered food and it's always hot. Which is a must if it's a delivery. Even though they messed up address once they made fresh and brought it straight bk out to me. Love the gravy lol x

I have even coming here since my college days. There is a lovely lady who has worked there since then and she is brilliant with me and my son. Neath on a Saturday is like all towns late but I did pop in and pick up a takeaway. It was lovely, even when they are busy the taste and quality is there.

We often purchase from here so handy when travelling on the train, also purchase when out in the town and take home. Quick service when no queues, excellent chicken and the chips aren't bad. In the night it's only take away and all tables and chairs are turned upside down, which isn't really nice to see, you can see the grime under the tables then. Staff are nice

Not often i would write a bad review. However i ate from here and was sick all night. I thought this may have not been to do with the food however my partner ate from here a week later and was exactly the same.

Ordered from them a few times now we was told time of delivery and it was dead on. Food was piping hot would defiantly recommend

Their delivery service is good, except that Just Eat options are cumbersome and restrictive. The shop itself is desperate for a refit as it hasn't had one in about 25 years (I'm not kidding) and it looks tatty and dirty in the customer area. (Their kitchen is clean though.)

Tasty chicken and chips, great value for money. Have changed their chicken gravy/sauce over the last few years, no where near as good as before.

Everyone enjoyed, lovely food, chicken in burgers particulary good bonus to have it delivered to the door as well

Dry chicken hot wings are not even hot avoid like the plague
