BEST chippy around its the only chippy I order from the food was piping hot when delivered and very tasty and onion bhaji nice and crispy

Fish is delicious very quick delivery good service

No problem with just being 5 minutes late. The problem was that the driver couldn't find our address. That's the first time that has happened

oooommmmgggg Best chips in swansea the onion bhaji was excellent cooked the way I love them. I normally ask them to cook them extra crispy but forgot BUT they read my mind and done them crispy for me IF YOU WANT GOOD TASTIE CHIP GET THEM FOR THIS CHIPPY!!!!

Batter was thick and floury but the fish inside was lovely, chips lovely, burger was great!

The fish stated 99% boneless… every mouthful was full of bones. 1/4 (if that) of the fish was eaten before going in the bin, not worth the money unfortunately.

Must be new owners or just reopened the food was awful the fish in batter was soggy undercooked and the chips were not much better won't be ordering from there again

Food was nice but awful portion, chicken curry and chips was basically a cone of chips with a splash of sauce and maybe 3 pieces of chicken at most, decent quality though but better off just getting small chips and a curry sauce or go somewhere else

Chips barely cooked. Lovely fish but not fish batter, more pancake batter. .pie was chicken and mushroom, ordered mince beef. Inedible, they went in the bin. Would not buy from here again sorry.

Great food! Chips were perfect and big portion of fish! Couldn’t finish it all.

Took over an hour to arrive, when I rang the shop they were very helpless and rude and said there was nothing they could do, except wait. After an hour the food finally arrived and it was all cold. Ended up throwing it all away and it going to waste. Shop weren’t interested at all. Never ordering from here again.

Food was really nice came hot didn't need to warm up considering the roads are 20mph BUT I paid for large chips then extra 2pound for bigger portion but when chips came it looked like normal large chips but realy enjoyed the food. I will order again.

Food might have been nice . Looked nice but fish really rubbery and chips disgusting . But staff in shop lovely . It was just eats drivers fault . Food had been ready for over a hour and no driver available from just eat .

Cannot rate highly enough. We ordered fish and chips, perfect amount of salt and vinegar, everything was cooked to perfection. I got a pot of the Chinese curry sauce and it was delicious. Will definitely be ordering from here again, best fish and chips we've had in the area 🤤

Just went in to get my kids chips before the school run and a woman was just sat on her phone whilst I was there didn’t even acknowledge me so I wound up walking out. If you don’t want to work don’t work.

Had fish and chips last weekend and wasnt to happy food was all cold fish was like card board and batter wasnt very nice and for a large chips there wasnt like a large chips more like a medium plus didnt even put salt and vinegar on them give me shilingfords over them anyday plus the delivery man left them outside my door and ran off nice service lol

Nothing too special. Food was nice but some of it arrived like it was pulled from the refrigerator and wrapped up before delivering. I will definitely go to these again if I'm in the area but for delivery I'll use others. The chips and chinese curry sauce was real nice.

Food was a mix of hot and cold. Some of it was hot while the rissole didn't seem to be cooked and was those small peter ones which didn't taste nice at all. The chips and curry sauce were lovely. The burger was also fresh and soft. I also was send a pasty instead of the sausages.

As always Old Road Fish Bar…. Never fails to impress, from order to delivery. This family run business ALWAYS make sure that their service and quality of food and hygiene is off the scale 100%+ …. For me, I won’t go anywhere else . Both my children live away from home now BUT when they come home, the first thing they want is food from ‘old road fish bar’ and trust me people when I say…. My children are both fussy when it comes to food because they are a nightmare . So if you haven’t eaten from this business , your definitely missing out . Nothing is ever too much trouble and they always go the extra mile ! 5*+ all round 😁

Second time I've ordered from here and not had any issues with food. It's nothing special and on par with others in the area. Decent value. The delivery system can have a delay issue with assigning a driver, but fine other than that

Oil used to cook chips isn't very nice. No food on display, everything was brought from out the back. Very dimly lit and not very inviting. However, the gentleman who served me was friendly enough.

Wow!!! It was busy but the service was quick. Huge potions and food was really tasty! Battered sausage and sausages were good. Hubby had pie and curry sauce. Chips were tasty. Good value too.

This was the first time I've visited this fish shop. The cod and chips were good and would definitely go there again.

Visited this chip shop in february and had fish and chips which was very nice especially when they offered me some irish curry to try which now i buy everytime. Top chip shop.

Poor quality. Very expensive. Tiny potions. Wouldn't recommend, certainly won't return. Sausages were grim, chips- even though we had to wait for them were still dry and cold!?!?
