All homemade with fresh ingredients beautifully cooked generous portions all served hot. The staff were friendly & helpful too. Would highly recommend & i will return on my next stay in Wales. Had to wait for my cars MOT at a garage round the corner so thought I'd finally give chatterbox a try. It's so good! Lovely atmosphere and brilliant service, with fast and good quality food. I had my young baby with me who was bring a bit difficult, and the staff were brilliant, really helpful and kind.

The Pig and Apple is a really nice little restaurant on a farm in the beautiful hills above Monmouth. Although they sell burgers and fried chicken, you wouldn't really call it "fast food", it's just simple food cooked and presented excellently. They've got a waiting list as long as your arm - you need to book weeks in advance and it's easy to see why. Well worth a visit, great for families, couples and groups. Car needed though...They also do take away! Update: Amazing sticky chicken! That sauce on the chicken is ridiculously good - they could honestly sell it in jars!....in fact, if the owners read this, please do that! :D

We decided to book the cottage for my wife's birthday in December, for a long weekend. Upon arrival we were delighted with how beautiful the surroundings were, so peaceful, and the accommodation did not disappoint, it was beautifully decorated and so cosy. We had the best time staying, and visiting the rolling hills around us, evenings were in front of the wood burner and listening to the wind outside. Both Kate and Ludo really are delightful and warm people, as is Tim the Farmer, who was on hand if we needed him. This stay was so special we are returning in May, with the excitement of seeing the farm in action - thank you all, Humble by Nature is a beautiful place ❤️

First time going here but it certainly won't be my last! What a place! Motorbikes everywhere, in the car park & inside the cafe & shop on display. Just the place for motorbike lovers & buffs. Great place for a pit stop or to just soak up the atmosphere. Plenty of seating inside & out. Great service, we waited all of 10 minutes for our food & it was piping hot when we got it. A buzzer system is used. You take a square buzzer away with you after ordering food & it buzzes when your food is ready. Great idea! Coffee is the best coffee I've had from a cafe, delicious! I had two cups. The food is a bit pricey but delicious. A shop is also next to the cafe selling bikers clothes, T-shirts & accessories but, again, very expensive. Great place & highly recommend going there just for the experience if nothing else.

I visited creates with a fellow coeliac friend for afternoon tea. The owner was very welcoming, reassured us that he was coeliac too so everything we were about to eat and drink was 100% safe, with everything being prepared in a separate part of the kitchen. I can’t wait to return to try the Sunday roast lunch very soon. Thank you so much for an amazing experience, highly recommend.
