Absolutely lovely county homely pub . Leah and paul are so very welcoming and can’t do enough . There was an outside mobile food event the evening we went but there were no vegetarian options so Leah insisted she do a special dish for me . My vegi burger was the best I’ve ever had and the presentation and sides were fantastic . There was a band playing . Great atmosphere, great pub , well worth eating there . We will be back ❤️

Sunday Lunch For The Family - Amazing They are not open every Sunday doing lunch sadly - but when they are you must visit it is lovely. A small village country pub - only open on weekends - but when it is - it is amazing - from pop ups to bands - it has it all. I think they do a monthly Sunday lunch - book in advance on FB you will not be disappointed 👍

Lovely countryside pub, plenty of free parking, lots of room in the garden! Had Sunday lunch here, had starters, main and dessert, all beautifully cooked, two rounds of drinks, reasonable price! We booked in advance, nice atmosphere, good service, highly recommended!

We had a fantastic lunch on Saturday. The pub is small and cosy, the log fire was lit as it was pretty cold outside. The staff were friendly and welcoming, they were polite and attentive. I had sausages and mash, with peas and onion gravy, which was delicious, the sausages were high quality. One of our party had the curry, which was tasty and just the right level of spice. The fish, which another of our party had was beautifully cooked. The food was plentiful, unfortunately we were not able to manage a dessert but the choice was great my husband said his beer was well kept and enjoyable. I would highly recommend and will definitely return.

We celebrated a 30th birthday here with family and friends. The food and hospitality was beyond superb we couldn’t have asked for more! A big thank you to Leah who helped me arrange pretty much everything, even put a delicious tapas theme buffet on for us with me giving her days to prepare (very last minute unorganised on my behalf) gave her a few days notice and still delivered exceptional food!! Can’t wait to visit soon, highly recommend!! Many thanks Chloe & Rhys

Very rarely do I write a review of places that I munch and quaff, but in the case of The Red Hart, I had to make an exception. Myself, my lovely wife and two chums tucked into supper there last Friday. I’m still attempting to locate my socks, as they were blown off, by the delicious food, excellent service and tip top beverages. I’m heading back on Sunday to sample their Sunday Roast. I’m giddy with excitement and can’t wait. Thank you so much Red Hart folk.

We had a lovely Sunday lunch here. Very friendly staff and good atmosphere. Will visit again. We attended as a large group who are members of a classic car club and the owner ensured we had safe parking for our vehicles which was very much appreciated. Thank you

We visited with friends for dinner last Saturday following a recommendation. This lovely old country pub deserves to be better known as it's only 5 miles outside Abergavenny, along the B4233. It was very quiet that evening but that did not detract (everyone out on the town pre-Christmas in Abergavenny perhaps). Leah and her team made us most welcome, with friendly service and food that was delicious. We sat in the white-washed room near the wood burner and had garlic mushrooms, pork bonbons and king prawns, followed by steaks, lamb shank and sides. This is very much a pub, not a 'gastropub', and if you're in the area looking for a good meal, or just a drink, it's well worth a visit.

Well started off ok friendly staff polite conversation, then we went through to the restaurant, where we obviously were to have our meals ,I had a steak and Guinness pie which to me tasted of pepper ,to much pepper ,edible but unfortunately not enjoyable , my wife had a burger and took one bit and was not able to eat anymore how ever we did think the desert menu would be ok but sadly that was awful no real choice at all, also there were two different menu,s one for day one for evening which they did not tell us about, when I googled this place it was in the top ten places to eat but alas we did not like it , not saying every meal was bad at all just the ones we had ,try it your self you may fair better than we did

We had lunch here on Thursday. I am in a powered wheelchair, the last time we ate there, I was able to get in easily, but this time, there was some work being done on the back terrace, but the waiter went and got a ramp and made a lot of effort to get me into the restaurant. The food was outstanding, we asked the sommelier to choose wines to go with the dishes and they were all excellent. We pushed the boat out a bit, so the bill was large, but you get what you pay for, and they have, quite rightly a Michelin star. No complaints from us.

What a lovely little cafe and deli. I ordered the meat and cheese platter and it was OK, mainly bread which was a bit disappointing, but the atmosphere was fab
