Good place to visit if or in Cardiff you can just walk around and have a look for free but if you want to go further into the castle then you have to pay

"Disappointing experience at Chaiwala! We're regular customers and love their food, but our recent visit was a letdown. We ordered the samosa chat, but unfortunately, found an insect in our food! We immediately brought it to the team's attention, but they brushed it off, claiming it was just a spice. We know what we saw, and it was definitely an insect. While we've had great experiences here before, this incident has left a bad taste. We hope Chaiwala takes food quality and hygiene more seriously to prevent such incidents in the future.

Chopstix Noodle Bar on Queen Street is an absolute gem! The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. We tried the K-Pop BBQ, Sweet and Sour Chicken, Spicy Chicken, and the Salt and Pepper potatoes with Vegetables, along with crispy vegetable spring rolls. Every dish was cooked to perfection, with a great balance of spices and flavors. The portions were generous, and the drinks complemented the meal wonderfully. What stood out the most was the exceptional service – the staff was warm, attentive, and made sure we had a great dining experience. I highly recommend Chopstix to anyone looking for a delicious and satisfying meal in Cardiff.

Escondido a solo 5-10 minutos a pie del concurrido centro, The Vegetarian Food Studio es una verdadera joya escondida. Es claramente amado por los lugareños, ya que ya estaba bastante ocupado a las 12 de la noche cuando llegamos, a pesar de que acababan de abrir. Fuimos por una mezcla de entrantes para compartir, incluyendo el plato mixto para dos (que era ideal) y unos pocos bits extra. Todo estaba perfectamente especiado y lleno de sabor. El chutney de tamarindo que venía con los platos era particularmente delicioso — un punto culminante absoluto! Los precios eran muy razonables, y la comida era excepcional. Sin duda volveremos a visitar!

Didn't stay here as I live locally, but it has become a regular Sunday lunch spot at the Laguna restaurant. They do a great 3 course lunch for £29.95. Food is always really good and the service is faultless.

Las Iguanas hosted a birthday lunch for one of my colleagues today (which I was tasked with arranging) and I want to comment on how seamless the process was! From the initial booking to accepting pre-orders, the back and forth via email, not to mention the prompt service whilst in the restaurant, whilst also hosting a much larger party at the same time! The staff were so lovely and helpful throughout, so a big thank you from The Welsh Parliament! :)

We spent New Year’s Eve at the Ivy and had a great time. Although a busy evening for the restaurant, the staff were excellent in looking after us and the other customers around us. The food was delicious and the overall experience made for a memorable celebration, with the live music adding to the atmosphere. A great evening, with special thanks to the staff

We spent a lovely Christmas Eve at Pen y Wig! The staff was super friendly and helped us tourists with Christmas Crackers and even taught us some Welsh expressions. Also, food and drinks were perfect. Can recommend!
