The best restaurants in Cardiff South Wales

Good place to visit if or in Cardiff you can just walk around and have a look for free but if you want to go further into the castle then you have to pay

Lovely little restaurant with an authentic Italian atmosphere!

We stayed here for our valentine weekend and our whole stay was wonderful. The rooms are lovely a spacious with everything you need. 25h room service, food at break was great, everything was tasty and a wide selection. The view from the restaurant was also great. All the staff we interacted with were all very friendly and couldn't do more for you. The spa well what can I say it was absolutely perfect, the jets, jacuzzi, pool and sauna was just what we needed. We didn't want to leave. My only downside was there was no steam room but that just a personal preference and not a negative for this hotel. you very much voco you will definitely be seeing us again.

We come here a lot, one of our favourite restaurants in Cardiff. Really like the thali but if there are four or more of you, you can do a group deal where the chef picks what you eat. We have done that with friends and they loved it. Great dosas!

Tia Kasia Matti and Lynette were amazing. They were all extremely helpful and welcoming. Served lush cocktails and made the night more enjoyable because I was served by lovely and very very pretty ladies xx ;) thanks girls

I didn't realise the window in the room would not open until I came back from a nice business dinner. I hoped the air con might allow a decent night's sleep but I was so warm and felt so unsafe that if there was a fire I could not even let the smoke out of the room that I ended up walking the hotel at 6am. Nothing was open but I managed to locate fire exits and decided to check out the breakfast area. The night porter was a gentleman but I unfortunately then ran into the night manager who said he would call the police in me for walking the hotel at night. I was absolutely disgusted by his tone and mannerism and would advise to stay away from this hotel in case you have the misfortune of having to deal with this guy.

Don't recommend. Better coffees elsewhere

Great drinks and service. Mateus looked after us well. The Christmas drinks including the Mince Pie Sour need to be tried.

Fabulous Sunday lunch. I had the cauliflower tart which was delicious and my partner enjoyed the lamb shank. The additional cauliflower cheese and braised red cabbage were spot on! Extremely friendly service with a shout out to Stevie!

Went with colleagues from work. Vegan choices of food but most were spicy and I can't have spicy food for health reasons. What I had was nice though. Lovely cocktails, some were cheaper when you buy 2
