Victoria Park Pub in Cardiff

Met family and friends last Sunday, the Vic is a very warm and friendly pub, all the staff are very welcoming especially Rhi and Michelle. Always a nice atmosphere each time I go there.

Great place for watching the sport, friendly atmosphere, beer is always quality and bar staff are class, Rhianon in particular really looked after us during our visit. Thank you Rhianon…we will be back

Nothing is too much trouble for all the staff and Emma at this pub. We always have a good time and enjoy the Sunday lunches. Just wish my grandchildren lived closer, so they could join in with the lovely Rhi's dance sessions 🥰

The young red head rhi was absolutely superb constantly finding stuff to do when there was quiet periods aswell as the young lady Michelle they worked so hard and made us very welcome

A club skittles evening held in the original skittle alley. A really old pub with great atmosphere and friendly staff.

Went to meet friends, Karaoke on a Saturday. Great night had by all. Can't wait for next time

I had the steak & ale pie, it was delicious! The bar staff were lovely and suggested we come back for karaoke on the Saturday, which we did and we had a great night!

Got to pub at 7:15pm on a Saturday night only to discover food service closed at 6pm. Stayed for drinks and karaoke and had a great night.

Max is an amazing tentative memeber of staff he even offered me an upsell of a pint of pepsi max and it was worth the money. The food was outstanding the Classic Chicken burger was amazing crispsy. Highly recommended

Great traditional pub - atmosphere is fab - Saturday karaoke is fun - bar staff are very friendly - Louis is a top barman - knows his stuff 10/10

Very lovely pub to visit for food and socialising. The staff are lovely, especially Matthew and Max. Highly recommend a visit to anyone.

The service from Max and Matthew was amazing! And even though it got busy, they were still kind. Me and my friend both got Mac and cheese and 1 coke each, and it costed almost £20, which is super cheap especially for the quality. Thank you Victoria Park Hotel for a wonderful experience!

Food wasn't being served at the time of visiting. Gutted that the Barry Island IPA was off and that there were no Pale Ale alternatives. I'm not fussed on Brians IPA anymore but had to settle for this instead.

Lovely, smiley staff, quick hot food, quiet friendly atmosphere.

Held a small party for my dad’s 80th, using skittle alley and small room downstairs, due to wheelchairs. Staff went out of their way from start to finish to make sure all went smoothly and our needs were met. Food was excellent and plenty of it, more than enough to go around. Bar staff always available to serve us even through they were very busy, always polite and happy. We all had a lovely afternoon.

Jist remember that Wednesdays are football nights. Not so great for quiet chats

Everything was really good. We had a long busy day and wanted some were for food and a drink. The Cic was ideal, close and comfortable.

Very busy down for a family function card machine down can only use cash not from the area nit sure where cash machines where bit of a let down

Staff are helpful and polite! We enjoyed the food which is reasonably priced and the bar and toilets were clean. The atmosphere is a lovely family environment :)

Went in on 2 occasions (Tuesday 8th August & Wednesday 9th August) with my girlfriend Tasmin who used to work at the pub as she wanted to introduce me to it heard many good things from her about the pub and I wasn’t disappointed, the food was quality, the drinks were good, the locals and staff were very polite and friendly. One of the many places that made the trip from Essex well worth it! Will definitely be returning on our next visit in October!

Bartender very polite and helpful. Place clean and tidy. Very relaxing as not many there that time of day in fairness. No change except packed for the rugby match between England v Wales. Service very quick considering numbers in there.

My Dad and Brother went there Saturday 12:00 22/04/2023 had food (fish chips & scampi) had to send it back as it wasn't cooked. Today 23/04/2032 I went there with the family for Sunday launch what can I say!!!!!!!!!!!!! it was terrible, I would not recommend having any food there. that's my opinion It used to be decent food there??? The drinks were fine through.

Great atmosphere, landlady was lovely. We had to send our steaks back, as they were overcooked. We were offered a complimentary meal and a full refund. The service was excellent.

Always call here for a few pints of their excellent I.P.A. beer. New year’s Eve was no exception. All my Family agreed. Always get a welcome from the excellent barman, despite us being from the Valley’s Ha ha! Always clean, well run and a credit to the Licensing Trade in the big City. Attended a wake today and have to say the buffet was fab. Sandwiches were the freshest I’ve ever had and the cheese biscuits were gorgeous. Nice selection of food and it was plentiful. The two ladies behind the counter were fab too. Every efficient and very nice natured, chatty and knowledgeable. Felt sorry for the one lass as she was making the tea for our group and their machine isn’t up to scratch. She did her best in fairness to her and she never once showed signs of frustration in the number of teas ordered. We all felt for her as it certainly wasn’t her fault. Pull your finger our Victoria Park bosses, the girls badly need a new tea/coffee machine. Would highly recommend this place for a function. Well done 👏

Very welcoming pub. The staff are lovely and I always feel very comfortable visiting which I don't with a lot of pubs.

Visited on 9/12. Staff were amazing even though it was busy. Prices were what you expect for a pub. They had a singer and he was absolutely brilliant. Will definitely come again soon.

It's the 2nd time I have been to this pub the first time I was discussed with the way the person serving @ the bar my partner & I wanted fish he said no fish I asked for steak we have no steak but it was on the menu I said could you tell me what you do have he said to me there are other places you can eat so I didn't have anything my partner decided to have hunters chicken which she informed me on the way home it was disgusting & a few days ago on 25/11/22 I went to the Vic & asked for a bottle off non Alcoholic Heineken 330 ml bottle I was astonished when I was asked for £3.60 if I had a drink it would have been £2.65 this is not acceptable so don't go to this pub the OR needs to be looked at

Nice pint, nice atmosphere. Met a a long lost work colleague for a catch up. Nice wafmpub, cant comment on the food as I didn't order any.
