The best restaurants in Gwynedd North Wales

Looking for a dog friendly cafe during a visit we were told to try Buffers. The food was all served very hot and the big breakfast was just that, in fact it was huge and I struggled to finish it, especially with the added toast and mug of coffee. The seating area overlooked the station platform, although undercover, and they also provide beds for tired hounds to grab a quick nap whilst their owners tucked in to their very reasonably priced food. Parking close by on the large car park and an ideal location close to the shops.

What a great fine tasty food to suit large or small appetites . Good wine plus a large range of cocktails beers etc . Enjoyed the atmosphere and chilled music … sax jazzy vibes . Highly recommended and good value .

Lovely little cafe/deli on the main road in Abersoch. Full of wonderful speciality food items to buy, including freshly made food. Opted for a slice of quiche & sausage roll. Neither were cheap, but both absolutely delicious. You certainly get what you pay for & these items were worth every penny.

Popped in for a coffee while touring the local area, very friendly staff, gave me a booklet of the area which was very helpful, would recommend.

El personal era encantador, a la comida (incluyendo opciones sin gluten) era divino, y las bebidas eran excepcionales. Ofrece una buena selección de menús y vistas panorámicas a las montañas Bangor. La única desventaja es que es muy difícil volver a subir las escaleras al aparcamiento después de un almuerzo de 3 platos, pero eso es testimonio de lo excelente que es.

A great place tasty food service was first class. Presentation was lovely. In camping site really good as kids can play when bored.

Bought a large fish and chips today and the quality was high. Fresh, crispy batter, well-cooked chunky chips and portion size large enough to share with my wife. Excellent chippy!

The food is world class, the accommodation is simply beautiful and every member of the hotel staff is attentive and welcoming, nothing is too much trouble at this fabulous hotel, we are returning for the 8th time and I can't wait to visit many more, outstanding

Encantador lugar y realmente disfrutamos de sabrosa comida vegana que no era carne falsa. Saludable, no comida rápida. Esperamos volver de nuevo muy pronto.

Absolutely wonderful place for breakfast. I love the savoury options. And to be honest, considering how reasonably priced they are, I can't complain. The bad reviews are from people that expect to be greeted with big smiles etc... but end of the day, none of the owners are rude. They are perfectly polite and to the point. It isn't a restaurant, it is more of a takeaway so I'm unsure of what people expect!

Excellent find ! The area is full of overpriced cafes serving below average food for extortionate prices, Cafe Sol is a genuine local cafe. Portions were generous and the food was delicious!

Chinese food restaurant on site. Also has hotel rooms available but as I live locally I haven't stayed.

This lovely pub is effectively our local to our caravan on Hendre and we used to go many times to eat albeit we have not frequented it since 2018 when we found food disappointing on that occasion BUT tonight we called in after telephone call to the pub to book and lovely gentleman confirmed we could just turn up and we so glad we did wow we all fancied the BBQ ribs and can honestly say they were the best ribs I have ever eaten and my family also agreed we will definitely be back as the dinner was perfectly cooked and very generous portions the pub is very relaxing and the staff are so welcoming so glad to have revisited twinti and we will make it our go to pub again so happy 😊 brings back lovely memories when my boys were growing up.
