We were a party of 20 & they accommodated us brilliantly. The manager couldn't have been more helpful when we made the booking and the staff on the day were brilliant too. We sent through a pre-order the day before which helped us & the kitchen I think. The food was lovely, piping hot and massive portions. We went based on reviews from locals & so glad we did as it was excellent all round. Thoroughly recommend.
As always we had a fantastic pizza with a side order of onion rings and dips. What I love is that you can choose your own pizza toppings, which are totally amazing. The onion rings are the best I've ever had. The staff are so friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend visiting this restaurant which you can go to straight off the hill.

Been here quite a few times now and it is perfect for a mountain trip. Everything you need is there including a kettle, fridge, tea making things and very helpful staff. The bus to Pen y Pass can be caught just across the road.
The food is excellent and good value.
Excellent Sunday lunch, superbly cooked all three courses. Homely place, service was efficient and friendly. I throughly recommend this place. Lovely authentic cooking.
Medina coffee house is a must visit in Aberdovey. Wonderful family run business hiding behing the main road. Praaawwwn sandwiches to die for and a fabulous pot of tea not tried anything else YET! Thank you so much❤️ Alyson & Lnda xx
Stayed a few days in Aberdaron and visited this place a couple of times. Staff were lovely and the food….the food!! The minted lamb pasty, the spice curried cauliflower pasty and the Rice Krispie cakes were just heaven. Thanks for putting a smile on our faces…😎

£3 to park even though no signage to that effect. Approached by man from centre just after we’d parked up to have a spot of lunch. Wouldn’t stop again.

Poor service. Lots of locals there which is good for the Ship but clearly not in hurry to serve faces they don't recognise.
Update: thank you for response from owner. Just to clarify, we visited two weeks ago not on a weekend - beginning of April. Three women behind the bar decided to chat rather than serve despite seeing us there. I am only posting now in response to Google prompt.

Very disappointed with the chilli chicken and beef enchiladas, very small portions, basically £10 for each enchilada, 'popty ping' - microwaved food.... should be better quality for the price!
I cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough!
The food was amazing quality and the service was fabulous! All staff were friendly and efficient throughout the evening!
We cannot wait to travel and stay here again!
On a recent visit to Barmouth we found this little Gem of a place that is open on Sundays. There was a special board out side and it was the Cheese and Onion pie that drew us in . Both my husband and me had this and it came with new potatoes and salad . It was delicious and very reasonably priced . We were naughty and were too tempted by the delicious homemade sweets and puds they had to offer . I had the jam and coconut cake and my husband opted for the apple pie. They were presented lovely with fruit and a pot of cream on the side. The staff were friendly and attentive. Will definitely be returning next time we are in Barmouth
Lovely little restaurant with a warm, relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
Welsh tapas - sounds odd but it works :-) An interesting mix of typical Spanish style tapas dishes (cod baked with a tomato and olive sauce) and some with a Welsh twist (cockles and laver bread). The young lady who served us was really helpful and friendly. Thank you for being patient and supportive with my husband’s learner level Welsh!
