Ordered the takeout pulled beef burrito. Food was bland and tasteless. Not authentic whatsoever. The hot sauce was not hot or flavourful. The refried beans weren't even refried, they were just beans. The beef was dry and chewy. It was also £10 for a single burrito. I was expecting it to be pretty good for that price. Wouldn't recommend.

What a find !!!!!! The take away experience was fantastic with lovly all weather seating outside and the food was mouth watering 😋 😀 😄. Didn't take pictures because I couldn't wait to dig in. Lol

Good food and drinks. Polite staff. Decor a bit tired, but who cares as the food is nice. Had to queue for half an hour before opening to get in as they don't take bookings. I don't think this is a reflection on how good the place is (although, as I've said, the food is good), but rather that it's one of only a few large restaurants in the area that offer something different than pub food or seafood. My only real critism is that the price is far too expensive for what it is. Every part of me other than my wallet enjoyed it though!

Excellent mexican. Nice range in the menu and all cooked very well. Lots of flavours in the dishes balanced with good levels of spice.

We were a group of 6 waiting to be served for a quite a while, however we were just ignored after politely trying to get a hold of the staff’s attention. Truly disappointing.

Really looked forward to this as every time I visit it's closed but today it was open! Left sorely disappointed, burrito was bland and felt like the ingredients were cheap, the wrap was doughy and shop bought. Staff were pleasant but that's about it unfortunately.

Pretty good food but lax attitude to food allergi s / intolerances. Menu states chips and nachos both gluten free. Chips are done in a shared fryer as it turns out so they aren't gluten tree. We ordered the nachos to take away. Luckily we weren't too far away before discovering they'd given us chips after all. Not much at an apology considering we could have been made very ill. A bit more training is required

Squeeze two of us in at 8pm on a Tuesday evening. He had such a fantastic meal and service. We had a veggie and beef enchiladas with nachos to start. The portions are smaller than you’d get elsewhere Mexican wise but the food is fresh and tasty. It also carried the Abersoch inflated price tag too which is only expected when you dine out anywhere in Abersoch, these businesses rent must be astronomical. Keep up the great effort.

Not sure the quality and quantity of the food justifies the price tag, but the staff were lovely and the service was great. I had the Nachos Grande for 2, as a main. I’d be happy to come back again to see if the food was a one-off based purely on my poor menu choice.

Tried to get in here, we called told no they don’t take bookings, you have to go and que outside when they open. How does that even work I asked but got told it does for them. Must have old Gordon Ramsey down there knocking up nachos. It was my wife’s birthday so tried to get in there but no chance. We were told we’d have to get down when they opened. Bear in mind we were at a campsite 4 miles away and rode down on bikes to try and get in but fully booked very early on. It looked a nice restaurant and we were recommended it but it’s impossible to book so pretty pointless for us. Sort your booking system out, you’re not Michelin star.

We sat outside at the street food section. Absolutely lovely food and great service. We both had burritos and fries, a couple of beers and some churros. Highly recommend.

If you are looking for authentic or even tasty Mexican food, don’t come here. The rice tasted like it was Uncle Ben’s and the rest of it could have been from an Old El Paso kit. The tortillas tasted like wheat rather than corn. It’s a nice place, but the prices do not reflect what you end up with. Doesn’t take online or phone bookings either.

Good service. Honestly the food was overpriced and overwhelmingly below average. ordered the pork belly and only half of it came and was incredibly chew . No staff about to tell them about it . Drink are good though only good thing about my meal .

We have been coming to manana for a number of years and have never been disappointed! The food has always been top quality and the staff are always so friendly and helpful! There is a reason why there are always big queues for a table!

The main restaurant was full when we visited on a Tuesday evening at 6. The next available table was at 8.30. Luckily, they also have a street food option just outside the restaurant with outdoor seating available. The food is quite affordable and there are some but not many vegetarian options. I got the pulled pork burrito and my boyfriend got the vegetable burrito. The vegetable burrito was mediocre. My pulled pork burrito started out tasty but it needed more sauce. The meat was quite dry and it was difficult to eat. The service was nice and fast.

Adore everything about this place, mouthwatering food, great cocktails wonderful atmosphere, perfect for a great night out & family friendly. Super nice owners Lee and Chris and their fabulous team. Lee always goes above and beyond to fit us in for dinner if he can. Been eating in this resturant for 19 years 👌 just love it!! Thanks Gillie & Rick Lane

Nice little restaurant however the pricing is a bit steep for what you get. Nice for a change of cuisine but expected more for the price as mains start at £18 Staff were all very friendly and helpful.

Fresh food but was under seasoned (chicken burrito)

Stopped by for a pint, nachos and churros. All were excellent!

Most Mexican dishes are fairly quick to make (At least the westernised versions we're used to) but the service here was remarkable. We're talking 5 minutes for a 7 plate serving of different dishes. And they didn't seem like they were pre-made and reheated (It's a fairly easy tell with cheese dishes). The place was fairly busy as well. Anyways the food was very good. Not exceptional but very good, delicious in fact. Given the lovely weather most patrons used the outdoor dining area, which is a bit makeshift to be honest (Think it was a car park originally) but serves a purpose when it's warm. I think the restaurant is better because of the outside area and from a business perspective makes a lot of sense. They have a window set inside the restaurant to service orders from outside diners. All in all we had a great experience at around £20 a head. I'd recommend this place to any and all Abersoch tourist.

Recommended, had some tasty soft shell tacos with great friendly service, it was a very enjoyable meal.

Food was really tasty, fresh and quality ingredients. We all enjoyed our meals with no complaints. The nachos and enchiladas were amazing! I would definitely return to here on my next visit. If you love Mexican food you need to give this place a try!

Street food shack that is open until 8pm is SO amazing. Burrito is the best I’ve had, margaritas by the pint and efficient and friendly service. We go every time we’re here!

The staff at the restaurant are pleasent and quick to provide service. The decor and cleanliness are also very good. The food was served quickly and looked fantastic. I visited with my partner who ordered the beef tacos and I had chiili beef enchiladas, we both found the dishes lacking a great deal of spice. Pricing I would say is reasonable and if you are looking for something other than pub fayre it is worth a visit despite my rating.

Always a 10/10 meal at Mananas! We got chilli chicken nachos as a takeaway and sat on the beach - just perfection! The frozen margarita was also amazing. Would highly recommend if you're staying in Abersoch anytime soon.

Only someone who wouldn’t know where to find tortillas in the supermarket would be impressed by this food. My experience was of zero skill and zero quality for top prices.

Eaten here a fair few times and had my daughters birthday here late last year. Staff are incredible and can’t do enough for you! Food even better! Fajitas are gorgeous as well as everything else! Will keep going back each time we visit! Highly recommended!

Bad quality food and very over priced. Quesadilla could of been made by a 12 year old - a plain tortilla wrap with a bit of cheese in it. Could of done this at home for 50p and not been charged £8

I think Mañanas is one of the best Mexican places I’ve eaten in the whole of the UK. Every dish they serve is beautifully done and their margaritas and daiquiris are delicious.

Wanted to go here while visiting Nefyn but it wss closed. There was building scaffold outside.The street food takeaway was open but we wanted to sit in.

Completely average Mexican food shoved at you at lightening speed, with overpriced costs. Staff were lovely though.

We visited as a party of eight completely by chance and sat outside. Service was good, quick and they are also dog friendly which seems a bit of a novelty for Abersoch. The people were super lovely. The outside eating are is clean and spacious with large picnic tables and there was plenty of space for all of us and the dogs. It is next to the road but not noisy. We enjoyed our lunch - pulled pork and steak baguettes and items from the children's menus - but felt that a lot of it was very over-priced for what it was. Some of us had the 'Philly cheese steak baguettes' - they're a steak baguette but definitely aren't akin to a Philly steak. There's barely any cheese and at £11 for essentially a small fairly empty sandwich it seemed a bit mean. The baguettes are good and appear to be sourced locally. The baguettes are served in a cardboard/plastic tray. We'd have been happy with a paper wrapping to save on the plastic.

Freshly prepared meals with lovely homemade guacamole. There is a reason people are queuing to get into this restaurant when it opens. One star dropped because menus and general décor could do with a refresh; however, it is the food that really counts. Should also mention that staff and owners were all really friendly. Definitely recommend!

Travelled from Caernarfon to eat here as this is only Mexican in the area. Very nice, staff very friendly, resturant clean and tidy. Kitchen open front which is always a good sign of a good kitchen. Food very nicely presented, good portion sizes. Nice selection of food options and very delicious the hot sauce was superb 👌. Will definitely go back.

We called through abersoch and found a great little Mexican restaurant, Manana’s . It’s not Often I would post reviews , but what a little diamond of a place great food , great staff . If your passing through give it call in , superb

Lovely fresh food, friendly staff, fast service

Four of us went here for tea tonight. It opened at 5:30pm, so we arrived 5 minutes early to be met by quite a queue already. Once we got inside, we found out why. It's a well-oiled machine. We were greeted and seated very quickly with drinks and food ordered within maybe 5 minutes although the restaurant was almost full straight away. Staff were all friendly, efficient and attentive. The food arrived quickly although the kitchen must have been under pressure. We ordered the squid and the nachos, sharing each starter between 2. Both starters were beautiful. For mains, 3 of us had the delicious Mexican burger and the other had the Enchilada. All the meals were really tasty and great value. All in all, we had a great meal and would definitely recommend you give it a try. Visited the toilets too which were really clean. Full marks to everyone at Manana. Thank you.

Relaxed dining, Mexican inspired menu, top quality meals, excellent value for money. Best meal out I've had in ages. Manana has to be the top restaurant in the Abersoch area. Closed Monday and Tuesdays.

This was my first visit to Lee's restaurant since March last year. We've been very regular with our families since he opened 20 odd years ago, the place still gives me the same excitement when I visited last night, during the lockdowns it was the only restaurant I had missed . Visited during June '21 so there were restrictions in place. This was fine for us as it meant we could book and get a table without queuing outside. Great food, friendly staff. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

Amazing Mexican food, perfect portion sizes and the service was impeccable. Nice local beer on draught and plenty of lovely cocktails. Could recommend to any spice lover or vegetarian.

There is a good chip shop up the road, go there instead. The staff were very good, both friendly and helpful. The calamari took a bit of eating and I was glad to get it finnished and out the road, far too much pepper in it. The chilli con carne was cheaply made, how did you manage to make the mince powdery, was it from an animal at all? Hugely over priced leaving me feeling robbed, £80 for two meals and two drink. Go there if you like to be dissapointed.

We had some amazing food here last week. The king prawns were the biggest I've ever seen and beautifully cooked. Highly recommend a visit if you can get in. Book in advance as it gets really busy in peak season
