Called in for coffee and cakes. Took ages to be served but staff were pleasant. We sat upstairs and appreciated the heating being on as it was a cold day. The coffee was weak and we only drank it to warm us up. My dad’s iced bun was more like a rock cake. The bara brith we bought to take home was the worst we’ve ever had. Completely dry and tasteless. Best thing about this place was the clean loo. Would not return.

We stopped here for a takeaway of bacon roll & some of their mini sausage rolls. Mini sausage rolls were homemade & ok. Bacon roll for me had too much fat on bacon & would’ve liked the bacon a bit more cooked.

Although a limited choice of food as you would expect out of season, the food was tasty. But it was served on paper plates with plastic knives and forks, coffee in a paper cup. There is a bank of recycling bins for you to put your own plate, cutlery, cup etc in but clearly people were confused about what to put where - Compostible or for plastic recycling. Presumably to save on staffing. I have been previously and then proper plates etc were used. Very disappointing to have paper plates etc. Very downmarket. There was only 1 lady working in the bakery itself and serving food. We did not have to wait long at all which was good.

Ordered 4 English breakfast in the resteraunt at£8.50 a pop for small, worst breakfast ever had, made Wetherspoon breakfast look gourmet, apart from terrible value for money had to eat this with plastic knives and forks and paper plates (not very environmentally friendly) give this place a wide berth, total RIPPOFF.

what a rip off we went in asked for 2 breakfast. we was told it was a £1 more to eat in. so we went upstairs to the dinning room. when the food arrived i could not belive it. there was a tiny styrene plate with a very small amount of food on it. the coffee was in a cardboard cup, and the knives and forks were cheap black pastic. this cost us £19. we was so disgusted we took the food to the counter and told the staff they should be ashamed to sell this to folks for that price we left with disgust not bothering to get the money back, they must need it more than us...shocking!

We’ve not been to this part of the world for a few years so when we’ve visited 45 minutes away from Aberdaron, we had to make the trip over for the best Steak pie we’ve ever had. Everything we’ve tried from here is truly delicious and you can tell it’s made with love. Highly recommend!! We were worried we’d missed it as arrived just after 2pm however they were so accommodating, lovely, friendly and welcoming! Even offered to heat up our pies on this chilly, windy day so we could enjoy them warm on the beach. Can’t praise this place enough, give it a visit you won’t be sorry! We’ll be coming to Aberdaron to stay very soon! <3 (couldn’t get a picture cause we ate them too quick haha!)

Ordered three breakfasts not good. Served on plastic plates which isn’t a great start as food quickly goes cold. Then you have to get your own plastic cutlery, napkins etc. Hard Fried egg, hard bacon, tasteless sausage and two pieces of bread and butter. Ate a piece of bacon and left the remainder. Wouldn’t return very disappointed.

Ordered 2 cappuccinos. Not good and left mine. Hubby had the breakfast bap which arrived cold. The bacon was not of a good quality and very pale. Lots of fatty bits to cut off. I ordered tomatoes and mushrooms with 2 toast on the side. What I got was 2 slices of tomato, one of which was the end bit and literally 1 sliced mushroom which was so overcooked it was dry and wrinkled. The "food" was on top of one of the pieces of toast which was soggy when it arrived. The crust of which was burnt. This was also left uneaten. Plastic plates, plastic cutlery and takeaway cups used. Hardly eco- friendly. The girl who took our order was so miserable and never smiled once. What a disappointment for our last breakfast out before returning home.

Visited as a party of four earlier today for lunch whilst in the area catching up with family in Morfa Nefyn. Now I really don't say this lightly, but I can only imagine the previous positive reviews have been written by the owners or staff! The sausage rolls that were served were lukewarm so we sent them back. On their return, they were only marginally better. Couple that with our insipid coffee and our bland, soggy sandwiches to share... well, needless to say I will not be returning. Desperately poor across the board. The food lacked flavour and one sausage roll looked like one from Greggs that the dog had had a go at and regurgitated. Disappointing is an understatement.

We stayed in the village for a week in October and this bakery/cafe did not disappoint. Our rental property included some Bara Brith and bread from the bakery as part of the welcome pack, over the course of the week we bought welsh cakes, visited for afternoon tea and went for breakfast. All were enjoyable. The afternoon tea was the usual sandwiches, cakes and scones which were all extremely fresh and had the added bonus of a warm sausage roll. The breakfast for 5 saw everyone ordering different items from the breakfast menu but they all arrived quickly and together and again were all delicious and served with a smile. If you are in the area this bakery is well worth seeking out, be warned though it did get busy at peak times.

Only went in for a sausage roll but came out with eccle cakes, Welsh cakes and a Cornish pasty. Everything looked so nice. It was busy and the young man behind the counter was making an effort to converse with a Welsh learner. As we were walking out of the shop and down the road we came across the owner. Aberdaron is a small fishing village with amazing, rugged vistas and bracing coastal walks. Crammed into the centre by the bridge over the Afon Cyll-y-Felin are a number of food establishments and outlets that cater for the tourist trade. We parked in the national trust car-park in the centre (if you’re not a member it’s a few quid to tie your steed up). A few yards outside you’ll see the ubiquitous Spar opposite an unassuming sign for a bakery. Don’t be misled this place makes the inside of a Tardis look deceptively small. Imagine Willy Wonka preferred savoury and you’ll have some clue of the baked delights available downstairs. The pies alone are a pastry panacea. Upstairs there’s a well stocked cafe with an enormous al fresco area to compliment the internal seating. The food was served quickly and deliciously; the staff like powerfully ‘calfed ants bombing up and down the stairs with an endless stream of dough delights from the engine room below.

What a fab bakery! Refreshing in this day when everyone seems to be obsessed with Sourdough! A great bakery producing a great variety of properly delicious bread! Amazing beef and onion pie, great Eccles cake, fab flapjack, all homemade, allsorts of other biscuits and cream cakes on offer! Highly recommended!

We've been into the bakery a few times in the past to buy the odd thing (always fresh and tasty) but never tried the cafe. Now we know what we've been missing! Our last day in the area we packed up our tent with the aim of enjoying a late breakfast before setting off home. We ended up arriving late but my husband asked once we'd sat down if there was any cheeky opportunity to still order the breakfast? We were so pleased when the staff said yes! Nothing was too much trouble. We sat outside enjoying the amazing view down across the village to the sea. The atmosphere was so relaxed and friendly we felt right at home. Then the food arrived (2 veggie cooked breakfasts, 1 kids breakfast and 1 pancakes with syrup) all of it tasty. Perfect portions, fantastic coffee and the nicest veggie sausages around. All of the produce seemed to be chosen with care and it shows. We loved our first visit to the cafe and will definitely make it a mainstay of every future visit to beautiful Aberdaron. Diolch!

Home cooked food very nice and very reasonable prices. Been twice now and intend to go again this week. Worth a little wait as everything cooked from scratch

A wonderful find - such a great restaurant! The menu is small but wow; the choices are fantastic. The coconut chicken was perfect, roast potatoes were delicious and the beautifully cooked. As a coeliac and dairy intolerant - would definitely recommend.

A thoroughly enjoyable evening. We started with a drink on the terrace and we were given the option of eating out there too and we did. A beautiful view and a perfect spot to watch the sunset .Definitely planning on returning.
