Dropped in with friends for a morning coffee and a snack. Am getting used in North Wales to there rarely being gluten free options (I'm coeliac) but was delighted to find they were on the ball with this, and I had coffee and some lovely cake. Lovely surroundings too and would go back again now I've discovered it.
We were a very fortunate walk-in as all the other tables were booked. We were greeted by a human dynamo in the shape of Mel, who ran front of house single-handedly for the first hour. She was friendly, cheerful and extremely helpful.
The food was excellent, we both had the sea bass, which was beautifully presented and tasted even better! It seems churlish to make a negative comment, but we both found the waffles a bit too much - one would have been enough!
An excellent experience and one we shall repeat next time we visit the area.
Use to visit this pub on nights out in Caernarfon in my younger days, but prefer the quite, lunchtime, pace of life nowadays.
Anyway,
Popped in looking for a dog friendly pub, which it is, and was pleasantly surprised.
I chose the fish and chips and a pint of Worthington.
Food is freshly cooked, well presented and tasty
Beer is well kept.
Will definitely visit again.

Waited 2 hours for food after having starters about 25 minutes of waiting which was just garlic bread and nachos, surely it doesn’t take 2 hours to make 3 pizzas. Starters were great but god knows how the mains taste since we never got to try them! Ridiculous, we were unpriortised as the restaurant was fully booked and they were prioritizing the people booked in before, during and after over us. Ridiculous place and will not be coming back that’s for certain. Shameful place
We were really disappointed with the pizzas. The dough was poor, one of our 4 pizzas was practically inedible and none of them were good. Dough was flat, wasn't proved properly and was cooked badly.
It's such a shame as we used to go a lot and were excited to return after a break.
Service was good but the food was disappointing. Really sad to have to write this review, wish it was better as we live locally and want to support.
Freshly Cooked Fish
Quick service
Friendly Staff
Nice food, really worth a visit for a quick 'chippy tea, ordered fish, pie, burger and sausage & chips. #tip wait outside for your food to avoid smelly (cook oil) clothing..

Popped in for a meal and whilst we initially the only 2 people there, it soon filled up and obviously very popular. Ordered the lasagna, home made and very nice, salad was fresh and had a nice dressing. Would recommend for anyone looking for a bite to eat in Llanberis.
We were greeted with a smile by the Maitre d’ who also correctly guessed the name of our party. All the staff were friendly, attentive & professional, & the ambiance was welcoming & relaxed. Most importantly we all enjoyed our Sunday lunches & left, satisfied & happy.
Very well run cafe. Friendly, fprofessional staff. Nice food. Love the flowers in alley leading to the outside seating. Vegan /vegetarian friendly. Dog friendly. Our first choice if we visit Aberdovey again.
We booked this restaurant just before we set off on holiday, and were glad we did. After a long journey we arrived and were greeted by the friendly owner. The food was delicious, I started with the bisque which was outstanding, thank you. Main course was a selection of three different fish, also delicious and compliments to the chef. It's probably the end of the season now, but this place is well worth visiting if you enjoy seafood and friendly atmosphere.
Stayed a few days in Aberdaron and visited this place a couple of times. Staff were lovely and the food….the food!! The minted lamb pasty, the spice curried cauliflower pasty and the Rice Krispie cakes were just heaven. Thanks for putting a smile on our faces…😎

Had Sunday lunch here. Frankly it was sublime. Freshly cooked using quality ingredients, generous portions and very good value in very nice surroundings. Service was really good and attentive and came with a warm welcome. We had a pudding between us as couldn't manage one each. Delicious rhubarb and apple crumble and custard again freshly cooked. Good selection of beers and wines and good value. Sadly don't live locally or would be here every Sunday!
