5 Stars for a reason!!! very clean and efficient the people who worked there were very friendly and helpful also the food was lovely and welcome and it was delicious!

Bad service, fishing was nice, but chips very small portions for that price and also they wasn't tasty. Gravy was even worse the chips. We asked for extra sold vinegar, in the and all salt was on the fish, no vinegar at all. Avoid this place

Had two fish and one portion of chips here. Cod was full of grease, and the grease tasted stale, the chips were soggy. Most of it went in the bin. Very disappointing ! Such a shame, the owners are lovely people ! Needless to say we won’t be returning !

Used this chip shop as we are on holiday . The chips were out of this world and so we're the fish. There was a language barrier but apart from that a perfect place for food.

Not local but needed take-away while in the area. Well cooked & great presentation in a box sectioning off the fish from chips, so no oil drippage from fish onto the chips. Eaten a lot of fish & chips recently on the road and this was definitely one of the better ones. Thanks!

Food was okay, but service took a long time considering it was just four of us. Cash only? Nice tax dodge. I ordered a sausage bap with chips and the chap seemed to have no idea that was on the menu, then for some reason he wrote down the order as chip bap with a sausage ??? We had to repeat the order about four times. We asked for one of the chip portions to be vinegar only…. Didn’t happen. No ketchup packets.

Fish are not as good as they have been in past. But still all in all very good.

Lovely fish and chips . Only problem I have is that the Chinese lady who serves behind the counter has an accent I find difficult to understand. I have hearing difficulties and she thinks the way to overcome this problem is to shout . This is wrong and very embarrassing. She needs to slow down and speak clearly.

Dreadful greasy fish and chip avoid at all cost

This is my favourite chipshop. The chips are always good and the gravy is simply the best.

3.6 Only do one size of fish but you can get a larger side of chips. Delicious Chinese curry sauce, would highly recommend. Not exceptionally long wait however they only take cash, no card.

One of the best fish and chip places around Bangor! I've tried a few chippies in the area now and this is now my go-to. It's reasonably priced and the food is always high standard, with good portions. The gravy, Chinese curry sauce and the battered fish is all 👌🏻 spot on. I think it's a family that own it and they're always on it with the service, very efficient and I've never had the order be wrong- even with a large group although the queues can get a bit long. Parking can be a bit tricky if it's busy too. There's a little off licence next door which is handy though for buying a few accompanying bottles of something while you're waiting!

Best takeaway ever. We were staying up the road and came across it by chance. Portions were deliciously fresh and enormous. The chips/rice/curry sauce option was INCREDIBLE.

Out of all the fish and chips that me and my family have tried, this shop is by far the gest and one of our regular takeaways. Their portion size is huge for starters and it's so good!

A pretty awful pie, supposedly steak and onion, with thick crust and tasteless meat.The chips were heated up and not especially appertising either.How this place can claim to he the best chippy in Bangor beats me.

Friendly staff and portions of a good size, so certainly value for money. Food a little inconsistent ... on one occasions the fish was a little oily, and another the fish was perfect but the chips were slightly undercooked.

Fast service, fish and chips were not greasy. The batter was light and you could tell it was fresh, the portions are greatly sized and are quite generous, definitely worth the price which is quite reasonable. needed a bit more vinegar but over all great meal as always.

Not as good as it was under previous owners, especially the fish, which used to be cooked to order. The later you go in, the soggier the chips and batter seem to be. On the whole though, the food is nice.
