Stumbled across this places and really lived the food, drinks and banter with the team serving. Food was amazing and generous. Really dog friendly too which was handy. They came round offering a sausage to the dogs. Garden was nice to sit in and eat our food. Well worth a visit and support local businesses.

Oh dear .... we expected a lovely lunch .... they did not deliver .... I had jacket with tuna mayo which was fine ... hubby had bacon and sausage baguette with a flat white ... cheapest sausages imaginable and tasteless bacon ... baguette was doughy.... and the flat white tasted like they had used the cheapest coffee possible .... we will not be returning. We had hoped that if lunch was nice we would book for the bistro in the evening... definitely not.... overpriced and under delivered... shame.

We called in at lunchtime and we were told there could be a wait as there were lots of people and everything is cooked to order. We didn’t wait that long at all and the food was so fresh and tasty. We had a tuna sandwich, tuna and cheese ciabatta and tuna and cheese toastie and the salads accompanying them were stunning as well as the coleslaw. We love the fact that they are now licensed in the afternoons too. We will absolutely be back again!

On approach to the tea room, the woman shouted "were closed!", with a snarl on her face and palm up ushering us away - our presence was clearly a huge inconvience. Surely a simple - "sorry were closed now, but we're back open again tomorrow between x and y times" isn't too much to ask for? Had we been treated correctly, we would have gladly returned the next day. We understand that things are tricky with Covid, however you should surely being doing all you can to gain returning custom, not driving people away with rudeness. If you don't like people, don't work in customer service. It's that simple.

Pebbles hot chocolate pricey but delicious, previously visited on annual trip to Wales and as our original plans for breakfast were altered due to a covid closure we walked from the centre of Tywyn to the beach front as we were confident Pebbles would be a great alternative from past experience, sadly the staff this year were incredibly rude, we experienced horrendous customer service so won’t be returning or recommending. The passive aggressive staff member screeched at people continually to collect their orders and shouted at potential customer for parking (nowhere near) the driveway for the cafe, very embarrassing! Couldn’t drink up and get away fast enough! Highlight was the cute pigeon in the garden!

Having visited here before Covid hit we had always received excellent service and plentiful delicious food, hence why we revisited time and again. However this time we were bitterly disappointed. We ordered two filled jacket potatoes and two coffees at a cost of over £18, ok so a little on the hefty side for jacket potatoes but on previous visits there had always been plenty of filling and salad and extras on the plate so all in all worth the money. However this visit we received our jacket potatoes in polystyrene boxes (Covid rules so we accept that) but there was very little filling and no salad. I understand the pandemic has left small businesses struggling, but I felt to charge us full price for such a meagre amount of food was taking advantage of the customer. When asked we were told that the salad was off the menu due to Covid restrictions, but they still charged full price! Not a great way to entice customers to return! I would NOT recommend them anymore, which is a shame because we used to go here all the time and I will miss it, but I will only be burned once!

On arrival there were quite a few dirty tables, which can happen (people leaving at once). Though more concerning was the amount of food left on plates. When ordering at the counter and trying to make conversation, I was made to feel like an inconvenience by the owner who said she would rather be else where than working on a Sunday. Toastie was over loaded with cheese, the salad was overpowered with thick, inedible dressing. Choice of cold drinks was good. Would not return or recommend.

Stumbled across this little treasure whilst driving up the Welsh Coast. We saw huge sandwiches, but we opted for a Cream Tea, which was not only a bargain compared to some we've had in the south West, but a fabulous cream tea. Yes I've had thicker scones and even some with a subtle hint of cinnamon, but these were really tasty and so well presented. Going an extra mile with strawberries etc. We ate in the garden space, but the real charm of this place is inside with clever floral/ceramic arrangements and cutesy decor.

Scones are served with strawberry dressing and the ladies come out to give your dog a little treat. The garden is is set along side a nice pub and it’s all enclosed, so paddy paws and children are safe. The husband had always been wary of afternoon teas for fear of coming away hungry. No danger of that here. We'd intended to go to the pub next door, based on Google reviews but when we got there it looked pretty grim. So we popped into Pebbles and were pleasantly surprised by tasty soft white bread like my nana used to bake and one of the best egg mayos I've ever had. The littlest had ham, the biggest and the husband had chicken and mustard mayo. All delicious. The husband and I got the full afternoon tea at £13. The cakes were fabulous, salad fresh and the fruit sweet. And there was plenty to share between the four of us and us all come away stuffed. (£35 for two kids sandwiches, a bottle of water and two large afternoon teas- not that expensive in my view).

We were staying in Bala & had been out for a drive making various stops on the way & it had got quite late for a lunch stop, just after 2pm. The owners were brilliant & said if we sat upstairs out of the way & went there while they were making our sandwiches then they couldn't possibly see the dog. So we sneaked her in. Excellent service and lovely setting. Stopped by a couple of times for coffee and cake both of which were very good. Didn't have a sandwich myself but saw others enjoying and they looked great.

This place has always been a favourite for us but on our last visit we were not impressed. Tried to place an order for two things, neither of which they'd got. It was a sunny bank holiday and they'd run out of baguettes, surely a mainstay of a cafe's business. We ordered an alternative and this took seemingly ages to arrive whilst everyone who'd arrived after us was served first. In the meantime the tea was brought and by the time we got the food the tea was stone cold. Sorry but may try somewhere else next time.

This cafe is delightful, food is made to order and baguettes and sandwiches are delicious with a generous salad. Location is excellent, next to the beach widths large garden for outside eating. Also important the newly decorated interior is lovely with a disabled toilet available. Have visited a few times and consistent value. Would recommend.

Great lunch with good service. Sat outside in the sunshine and was served with a hearty filled baguette side salad and crisps on the side, very tasty. Definitely go there again.

We stopped here for breakfast twice, having been disappointed by the service at another establishment. The breakfast rolls are tasty, especially the sausages, and both the tea and coffee were good. Fair prices and very friendly service. Outdoor seating where you can eat your food whilst enjoying the beautiful views of Llanberis and its surroundings. Also does delicious cakes, milkshakes and hot chocolate. Highly recommended.

I'm actually gutted to be writing this review as we thought we had found a good haunt when we first tried last week. 2 adults & 2 children all had a lovely lunch time meal the previous week so we rebooked for the 2 adults for an evening meal the following weekend. The starter was lovely for both of us but we both ordered fillet steak for our main and I don't know what meat it was but it certainly wasn't a beef steak. It didn't look like one, taste like one or even cut like one. I was genuinely gutted as it has put me off going back again because I feel like it's just rude to expect somebody not to notice and left feeling like we've been totally ripped off. You don't order a fillet steak if you don't know exactly what to expect on your plate so the audacity to think you can pull that off is unbelievable. I can't complain about the service, both times it has been spot on, lovely women but unfortunately we won't be returning after been served that.

On a recent visit to Barmouth we found this little Gem of a place that is open on Sundays. There was a special board out side and it was the Cheese and Onion pie that drew us in . Both my husband and me had this and it came with new potatoes and salad . It was delicious and very reasonably priced . We were naughty and were too tempted by the delicious homemade sweets and puds they had to offer . I had the jam and coconut cake and my husband opted for the apple pie. They were presented lovely with fruit and a pot of cream on the side. The staff were friendly and attentive. Will definitely be returning next time we are in Barmouth
