The best restaurants in Gwynedd North Wales

Lovely cafe, our table was in the window and we had views of snowcapped mountains. Both of us had the chorizo hash which was filling and delicious. Rainbow side salad was a brilliant addition, big portions with dressing and seeds and nuts. Wish we'd had room for the cakes!

Delicious and original locally brewed beer. Simply perfect.

A quiet pub in Bangor. Wanted a comfy seat but all wooden. Good range of drinks but a bit expensive compared to other pubs in the town.

Amazing ice cream, I love ice cream and I might be bold enough to say this is the best ice cream ever! Fav was the lemon flavour but tried honeycomb, peanut and salted caramel and all were amazing! Portions were very generous! People who work/ run the shop and make the ice cream are lovely too!

We booked lunch for my husband's birthday. From beginning to end our visit was really lovely. The interior has been stunningly redesigned since we were last here and is gorgeous. Particularly the bar, and the breathtaking 'ladies'! The cocktails and lunch were absolutely superb; there surely must be a Michelin star on the way. The atmosphere was so relaxing and unhurried, our long lunch felt more like a holiday. All the staff were lovely, but I must mention Kosta (I hope I've spelled that correctly) who was outstanding in his professional attentiveness, friendliness and enthusiasm - a real ambassador for the hotel.

We stopped here a few weeks ago, from start to finish it was great, friendly staff, good prices and great food, highly recommended.

Popped in for a pint, chose Carling. There was a big screen at the back of the room showing a game of football. Dog friendly.

Had a delicious jacket potato here recently, plenty of cheese filling. The side salad was glorious with bits of pineapple and grape halves in it.

Wow me encanta la pizza napolitana Jones mi go to Friday treat. Hoy eligieron su especial para el día napolitano ragu de res. ¿Qué puedo decir tan sabroso, que siempre consiguen el cocinero tan lugar en. El personal del bar y pizzaiolo son tan amables, charla feliz. Incluso cuando está ocupado y zumbando la comida para llevar no lleva tiempo en absoluto. La mejor pizzería de Bangor te recomendaría probar si te gusta la auténtica pizza napolitana, tan fresca y sabrosa Janet

Decent place for a pint with a very nice tasting Strongbow original, the kitchen was under construction but there were sandwiches for sale.

Stayed here overnight at the Management Centre in August 2024. Breakfast was included in the room rate. Food locally sourced and high quality. Next time we are in the area we want to try the 1884 Restaurant for dinner as we found other Bangor eating establishments (Cleo lounge) were lacking quality, service and later dining (til 9pm here). We also enjoyed the 1884 bar and hope to return! (Plenty of locally sourced drinks)
