Authentic local pub, really friendly locals and very good food. Not a massive menu, just good, honest pub food Not really on the tourists radar, so a nice place for a relaxed, great value meal - I go back whenever I'm nearby. Highly recommended.

Room was a little small but had a lovely sea view. Restaurant offered good food and good service, more daily specials would help to vary the choice from the standard menu, We were made to feel welcome. Overall good value for money and would recommend.

Great food and beer, traditional home cooked pub food, I could have eaten everything on the menu! The pool table upstairs is also good, it’s £1 for 2 games.

We stopped here for a drink and a meal on a day out to the area and what a find it was. A lovely local village pub which had great atmosphere especially when the recent rugby games were on. We were made to feel very welcome by the staff and locals, and I think we left as welsh rugby fans. Had some of the nicest home cooked food I’ve ever had at a pub restaurant before, I had the lasagne and my partner the burger, which was to die for! Even better we got to sit out in the sun in the pubs beer garden, with a nice cold pint. Will definitely be returning, thank you for such a lovely meal.

A fantastic local pub, with great staff. Lovely home cooked food, I definitely recommend the pie of the day and also the ribs, such great value too. Great choice of beer on tap. Customers and also staff very welcoming, a must visit if visiting the Llyn!!

Iconic true Welsh pub, brilliant food (best pub chips ever)…. Highly recommend.

Absolutely brilliant place. Fantastic landlord and staff. So friendly and welcoming. And very relaxed especially with 2 special needs children in tow. Our food was the best we've had while on holiday, good beer and brilliant prices. Their homemade chips are amazing. I hope to visit again soon.

Having been to this pub over 40 years ago I was surprised it had not changed much. Still charming, the food was great and reasonably priced too. Fantastic landlord and daughter run this Inn. We shall return soon.

Traditional pub with excellent no nonsense pub food. Chips are home made and gorgeous, service is friendly and food great value. Our two dogs were made welcome also. Definitely recommend this place.

My partner and I have just spent 4 nights close to this pub and tried this on our first night. Ended up eating here all 4 nights. Warm welcome and fantastic home cooked food. We recommend the chicken curry !! Lol. We would definitely go back here when we return to the area as this is a great place to be. Thank you to all the staff for being so welcoming and friendly.

Fantastic pub serving really good freshly cooked food, every one in the bar was very friendly, I was even taught a few Welsh words, we will definitely return, the pub uses the local butchers for its meat, all very good quality at a very reasonable price, we have been a few times now and never want to leave.

It's a fantastic little pub very friendly

Good beer, off the to tourist track a bit so a bit rougher round the edges than some but I don't mind that feels more real, Welsh pub rather than tourist trap. Food prices were good can't comment on quality as I didn't eat, outside seating and a small enclosed beer garden. All in all good experience.

Excellent meal at a fab restaurant. Very busy, great vibe and bonus to have been able to enjoy a drink on the terrace whilst waiting for our table. Booking certainly advisable, if not essential.

Lovely pub, great atmosphere and nice home made food

A lovely family run pub, friendly staff, popular with locals and visitors, there is always at least one well kept real ale on, they even have the football on TV. The food is all cooked in house, real not oven chips, very healthy portions. One time, not knowing when the food stopped, we asked if we could get some chips. They had stopped an hour earlier, but they went back put the fryer back on, and out came some chips. The only thing that would be nice, would be some veggie options, it would be lovely if they did a veggie breakfast, and it's not hard to have some quorn sausages in the back of the freezer, or have egg, beans and chips, or a even a cheese sandwich on the menu.

Stayed in a local holiday let with 9 others up the road. Made arrangements to have dinner at Ty Newydd. Not ordered before hand but did not have to wait long. Food arrived and was delicious. Portions were very generous and hot. Homemade chips were lovely. All our meals were very good value for money. Had a lovely welcome by staff and locals. Diolch yn fawr

We stayed with a group of friends in a nearby holiday let for the weekend and pre-booked dinner here for the Saturday evening. There were 10 of us in total, 6 adults and 4 kids, so we were a bit worried about how service would be and if the staff would 'cope' with a large booking.....we needn't have worried ! When we got there around 6.30pm the place was heaving, they'd been jumped on by a couple of bus loads of drinkers PLUS a stag do, so they very kindly put us all in a side room where it was a bit quieter. Despite how busy they clearly were, service was fast, efficient and friendly. The food is really nice, with a pretty extensive menu catering for all tastes, and portions are VERY generous ! Great selection of beers, lagers etc. As the evening went on things were pretty raucous in the main bar with the 'stag' parading round in a pair of false breasts etc. etc. but it was all good natured and never once did it spill over into our room. Just to save lots of questions from the younger kids later, we asked if we could leave via a side door and staff duly obliged. Great little place, a REAL pub with great food, great service and great staff. We would definitely eat / drink here again !

Great atmosphere, friendly staff, fantastic food. Really accommodating with my daughter who is Gluten Free, they have even scoured a variety of meals for her to have on the menu. Nothing is too much trouble for them and the food is good value for your money. We eat here on a regular basis when we visit our Caravan.

As English visitors (with a dog) to a Welsh speaking area we were a bit nervous as to how we would be accepted but we did not need to worry. The staff were very friendly, had no problem with us bringing our dog in with us and the food was served remarkably quickly bearing in mind there was 8 of us. It was also really lovely food and nothing was left on our plates. We visited twice in a short stay and would definitely recommend a visit to anyone visiting the area.

We ate here twice during our week staying near Aberdaron (that's eight meals between us all). Both times the food was excellent. Very good value for money, and a wide menu. First time the service was also excellent...friendly and quick. The second time began really well, but after the main course we were waiting ages without being able to progress to dessert...and gave up in the end! Still - overall it was a very good experience.

This place is great for good pub food and reasonable prices. There's a beautiful terrace to enjoy in clement weather with lovely views across Aberdaron Bay.

Un buen pub tradicional. Comida la foto de lo que parece y sirve todo el día junto con una buena selección de cerveza incluyendo Cwrw Llyn de Nefyn. Un jardín de la cerveza en el lado hace que sea un lugar agradable para sentarse en el buen tiempo y la posición de la ladera ofrece buenas vistas a la campiña.

Great pub good food and welcoming

Very welcoming people would recommend here have been here quite a lot amazing food breakfast is a must they also welcome dogs. Very family friendly pub too great if your visiting the area. I would highly recommend this pub

Good food and service although we did feel a little rushed due to the two meal time sittings. Views are good over the water should you dine outside
