Well worth a visit to this little cafe. The cafe is inside the community centre and doesn't look like much from the outside. As you walk in, you are greeted with superb nature inspired decor and beautiful curved windows that nicely compliment the view of the garden and outdoor seating. This created a great atmosphere, which was added to by the friendly and very helpful staff. We went for lunch, which was freshly cooked and absolutely delicious. Their lunch menu changes regularly and is displayed on their specials board. They have a very select amount of dishes each day, including a vegetarian/vegan option. This was actually really helpful as I went, for something I wouldn't normally choose off a menu, the Moroccan lamb with flatbread, and loved it.

Went today with my friends before heading back to Liverpool - amazing place with great food 😊

The location and atmosphere are top notch. We enjoyed our breakfast in spite of the limited options of food, but it is pleasing that the main dishes were cooked in an oven . The coffee was average

Accidentally stumbled upon it looking for shelter in heavy rain ended up having one of THE best coffee and cake combos I’ve ever had and the atmosphere is very calming and warm.

Love the atmosphere, feels warm and inviting. The food menu is a bit unusual but really something special and unusual. Worth the trip over.

Great chocolate cake and a lovely pot of tea. Unlike some places, this is a pot that let's you fill your cup a few times and uses leaf tea not a bag. I also bought some of the house blend coffee beans to take home. Great friendly place to take a break.

Full menu looks epic. It wasn't available though, only very limited pastries. I'm commenting to let others know it's definitely not dog friendly, as stated. We had to sit outside on a cold wet morning with our three little girls as our puppy wasn't allowed in the cafe.

A nice place to walk to. I enjoyed the food and the beer. More of a cafe than a pub/restaurant. A bigger vegetarian choice than normally see. Lovely structure to the building with an outdoor area.

We've visited on many occasions whenever we come to Wales. The atmosphere is relaxed and it is a lovely place to sit and watch the birds and drink delicious coffee.

Superb coffee (best in the area, sourced from Poblado) and a wonderful cafe with a great selection of vegan and vegetarian options. Parking available and an ideal place to start (or finish) a walk around the lake. EV charging is also available. Plenty of space inside or outdoors.

A beautiful and unusual setting - so worth a visit - if you can find a parking space. Small menu but very good and different. Great coffee. Staff were polite but no chat and I felt that the cafe lacked atmosphere or buzz. They offer table service however, after my coffee and main, no one returned to collect my dirty plates or ask if I wanted cake or more drinks or the bill. Waited half an hour and gave up! The website advertises an art display area, osteopath (which I need) etc so I wondered the corridors but nothing about. I have been half a dozen times or so over the last three years and found this to be my general experience every time.

Place is stunning, inside and out. The staff are helpful but don't go if you are hungry unless you are happy with coffee and cake or small salads/nibbles

Food was good, although the lamb of the lamb byriani was quite dry. Food took 40min to arrive hence the 4 stars

Lovely homemade food,very tasty. The service was excellent. Everywhere was very clean and tidy.

Really lovely place. Caban is featured in the new Indy Coffee Guide so we had high expectations - and we were not disappointed, flat whites were excellent. My husband had the stout cake and I had the blueberry cheesecake cake - quite possibly the best cake I've ever had. Lovely to watch the birds at the feeders right outside the window too.

Great cafe set in woodland, has a good vibe too. Plenty of parking. Always busy but still really good service from the staff, they are all very friendly. Sometimes a bit of a wait for food but totally worth it as it's all made fresh. If you can't see what you want on menu they are happy to offer alternatives. Cakes are gorgeous. It's family friendly too. Its so much more than just a cafe it's a great meeting place whether you want a small table for 2 or a very large one for you and all your friends

What an amazing place. Thanks to our friend who discovered this place while staying at ours. It's spacious and the vibe is relaxing. The staff were all very friendly. The food was wow - I did not expect that it was really tasty. I had the slow cooked lamb with salad. The flavour was excellent and the lamb was tender. I really liked the three salad sides and it just felt very healthy. My partner had the aubergine vegetarian dish. The healthy yet tasty food very much reminded me of the vegetarian restaurant in Machynellth called Ty Medi, but the service at Caffi Caban is way better. The staff were very friendly. There were also many cake 🍰 to choose from. I had a peach and polenta cake. It was ok but luckily not too sweet. Partner had a latte and said it was good. I'm so glad that we came here. We'll definitely come here again!

This was a stunning atmospheric place with the best coffee I've tasted in Wales, great food and terrific service. When you arrive it doesn't look like much from the car park, but don't be deceived, once you walk down and circle round through the alleyway you pop out into a gorgeous cozy cafe with warm furnishings and a huge expanse of glass giving a view directly into a little woodland with mountains in the distance beyond. If you fancy al-fresco then dine outside in one of the wooden huts surrounded by bird life within the woodland. We found this place almost by accident but it was simply magic.

Was told to wait for table service. We sat for nearly 30 minutes before anyone came to take our order even though there were hardly any customers. There was so little on the menu it took about 90 seconds to read. The salad was fresh but average considering its the main affair. It is a beautiful location but lacks any atmosphere. The food was overpriced (except the salad). No one came to offer us anything after our food and we sat for another 45 minutes. This place has the potential to be a hub and a thriving business but it is clearly lacking adequate management. Very disappointing that this is the only place one can get a meal in the area. There was also no space in the car park which is strange considering how few customers there were. I wonder what on Earth is going on here. Very strange

This hidden gem is exactly that! 💯 recommend 👌 surprising cold menu with amazing coffee ☕️ and the atmosphere is very luxury cabin in the woods over looking the lakes, relaxed, and a wonderful way to start your morning before a big day adventuring the lakes and mountain trails of snowdonia

Delicious food and very friendly service. They serve 3 special dishes - meat, vegetarian and vegan served with a trio of salads. Delicious! They have a nice outdoor seating area and sell a good selection of drinks too.

This was an amazing spot for a late lunch. The food was so Incredible, I had crispy kale salad that was out of this world! We especially loved the cakes! We can't wait to visit again soon.

Perfect! The view from outside is incredible and the food was amazing. We turned up 20 minutes before they closed and they still helped us despite how late we were and it was so good immediately returned the day afterwards! Only thing that wasn't 5 stars was the chocolate cake as thought it was quite plain but the food and other cakes we had and even the tea were all gorgeous! Great experience!

Fantastic cakes and drink. I had a really good piece of early grey cake, and my latte was great too! The service is friendly. They have bird feeders in front of window, so we saw a lot of birds while eating. So cute!

Great cafe with parking available. We had the special chicken mole with nachos it was delicious and filling. The kids had the tomato pasta also delicious. We had the dog with us so we sat in one of the little cabins in the garden.

What a nice little cafe. We stopped here because it was raining outside. We found a table near the windows with a view over a bird feeder which was amazing to observe the birds. The cakes were delicious too and they have many choices. I had the polenta peach cake and my husband the early grey cake. The staff was efficient and lovely too.

Love this place. Good food, great coffee and an amazing staff. Update to add it's still amazing and the breakfast stack is every bit as fantastic as we remember.

Great breakfast, if we lived local we'd be here weekly without a doubt. Friendly staff, great value for money. Only 1 choice for breakfast which is to make your own bap/breakfast stack, but so worth going for.

Can't order a standard breakfast, the only place on earth I know of that don't serve eggs and lastly it took about 15 mins for a coffee.

Cabin fever Very slow to serve us. Limited choice of food for children its a choice of pasta or bust. For adult's if you want meat it was pork and apricot kofta or bust. Date of visit: February 2023

Lovely breakfast stack...treat! Great service. No children's food options at all, but brought my own. No option of having 3 items on a breakfast stack; only 2, 4 or 6. I think 3 would have been perfect. Despite this, still fantastic! Will be back.
