Went into here for a pre-dinner drink. Expected to be ignored and unwelcomed. I couldn't have been more wrong. Great place. Great atmosphere. It was like your old dads local. Everybody in the conversation - no quarter given. You can have a view if you can substantiate it. Will be going back here...

Had a work lunch, and the lunch box provided sandwiches, I found some of the sandwich stale on the crust and presentation was poor, need for improvement

Don’t do food as such but they do have a guest food pop up every week. Lovely interior. Refurb is great. Fabulous owners & staff friendly and attentive. Always get a warm welcome 🤗

I am absolutely disappointed with my order today. I order from Greggs quite often and never had a problem but just lately it’s always wrong. Maybe you should consider reading peoples orders properly as what I received is not what I ordered. This is so bad especially because of allergies! Not only was I missing items I had paid for I got sent the complete wrong food. Left very unhappy again.

I loved the rooms and the beds were really comfortable. The food in the attached restaurant and bar was excellent. The Lady who served us was extremely nice.

Lovely location and good food reasonably priced. But very poor initial impressions. Meet and great non existent, staff just ignore you.

Only visited fir afternoon tea.

The only thing I got offered was spinach lasagne as they didn't have the vegetarian sausages or the fishcakes which were the only two things I would have eaten. The lasagne was overcooked so it was like a very stringy soup.

Slow service small portions however Our main issue was with one of the meals and the availability of the dish which we were told was not available only whilst everyone had just received their orders. It ruined the meal throughout. The manager was informed and was very courteous in offering us something else however there was nothing he wanted. We did receive some recompense but if a meal is not available one would expect to be told straight away not whilst the rest of the table are eating theres.
