The quintessence of modern takeaway Sensational and reliable food at unbeatable prices all year round for the last 10 years now - I thought after over 150 fab takeaways it's probably time to leave a good review Chip portions to feed a horse with leftovers (I hope you never change this) I've had plenty of things on the menu and not a single one disappoints - I hope this place knows that it's keeping the town alive! There's no taste like home

We had family over and ordered 8 meals with extras. Everything was perfect, ample portion sizes, plenty of food and left overs. The ladies serving were very chatty. My order was ready within 20 mins of me ringing it through. We had 3 bags of complimentary Prawn crackers too. Will definitely be back. Thank you

Serve the best noodles out of any chinese I've been to

Never leave reviews but had to for this place. Rang up at 5:40, said it would be ready in 20 minutes, got there just after 6 and had to wait an extra 30 minutes. Got it the car and they’d given us the wrong thing. Went in to sort it out, replaced it but gave us the exact same thing again so had to go back in. Ended up just getting money back as we’d been in there over an hour waiting already. Got home and my partner didn’t eat it and he would eat just about anything!

Only came here for chips, but the prices seemed to be cheaper than most other takeaways. It was busy in there and seemed a little chaotic.

Usually love this place but had a horrid experience today was told my food will be 10 mins but ended up waiting 35 mins and when I got home the food tasted like the grease in the fryer hadn't been changed in weeks ended up eating the rice and that's it

Waited an hour thought would be ar20 mins didn't take card payments so had to go to hole in wall next door. One curry missing one chips missing the chicken if it was chicken was inedible didn't even taste like chicken. I rang to complain about the meal not the service .she said bring it back we will replace it i don't think somother's day expe

Excellent food portions are huge

Have been using this Chinese takeaway for years and given a few and in my opinion, harsh reviews, I have to write in defence of them. This Chinese has to be one of the best and best value for money takeaway in the area. It’s been in Rhyl for years and is obviously doing something right to have remained in business for so long. The menu is extensive and the combination meals provide superb value for money. If you aren’t local then the look of the place could put you off as it’s fair to say it’s not the most salubrious of places but you need to look through this. It’s also true to say that in the last couple of weeks they have given the place a makeover turning the counter 90 degrees and tidying up the look of the place to boot. I’ve been lucky enough to have traveled extensively and frequently in south east Asia and China and even after visiting these places I look forward to a good old British style Chinese served by Sun City Fully recommended.

Gave 1 start based on hygiene, not a good look with yellow nets and dead flys in window.

Tasty and large portions but little chicken in the batter

Well Well Well its the worst takeaway I've ever eaten even my 4 year old said it tastes horrible and hasn't even eaten it. Wanted a nice treat for the weekend and we get let down because you've rushed to cook the meals to get it out. It had no taste whatsoever even the prawncrackers were hard. Small portions for what it actually cost us. Never again 😕

Wow 😮 we ordered a good mixture of the menu this evening for 8 of us tonight and we were not disappointed all meals were delicious, tasty and amazing portion sizes too . Also great value for money too will definately recommend and can’t wait to go back for more

DO NOT GO IF YOURE VEGETARIAN/VEGAN, I ordered a vegetarian dish and veggie spring rolls the other night and me and my boyfriend checked with them 3 times to make sure they were vegetarian as I haven’t ate meat in a long time, I had already eaten a full spring roll and only noticed when I bit into the second one I could see tiny bits of meat inside, I was absolutely devastated and my boyfriend went back to them quite upset as he had already checked with them 3 times to see if they’re vegetarian, he wanted a refund and they wouldn’t give him a refund for ages but finally gave in and banned us both from returning. Absolutely shocking as it was their fault and we didn’t get an apology or anything, it would have been a different story if I had had a nut allergy and They gave me something with nuts in it I could have ended up in hospital so same precautions should have been taken to ensure vegetarian and meat are kept away from each other!

We went for a takeaway for a birthday celebration and it was terrible, we all said never again, plenty of it but inferior quality.

Lush Chinese! I had the satay chicken and my partner had the duck in plum sauce. My friend had the chicken curry. All really tasty. Saved us on a sunday evening where there was no where else serving food 😋

Food ok maybe give it 2* if they hadn't give me burnt ribs the best taste in the meal was the salt and pepper it was cooked in only tried here as I was calling into bargain booze as it is new years eve

We were away for the week and was going to go to a Chinese we normally go but it was closed looked on Google for the next best place and found this am so glad we did it much better than the 1 we normally go. But didnt want to review it straight away as sometimes the 1st time you go can just be a fluke so at the end of the week my sister-in-law came down and we decided to come here again hate suggesting anywhere just incase it's bad the 2nd time but nope it was just as nice as the 1st time will definitely be revisiting when we come away again proper pukka food 😊

Good value for money and generous

We always come here and the lady behind the till knows our order and is very friendly,the wait isnt long even if it is busy, the food is relatively cheap and you get large portions

This is a small takeaway that dose good food at very good price. the staff are nice and helpfull give it a go

Quick friendly service, prices are very reasonable and the food was delicious, although we ordered for three there was enough to feed five, we had a P7 which was £8.39 an incuded mini spring rolls, sweet and sour chicken, fried rice & special chow main, my son had chicken fried rice and curry sauce, everything was beautifully cooked and tasted wonderful, the only downfall is parking, we parked on Victoria road and walked around the corner to it.

Fed four very hungry people comfortably for less than £25, perfectly pleasant food, friendly service.

Thought we would have a treat and the Chinese had come recommended.......well it was awful!! The chicken was pink in the chicken curry, spoilt our whole meal! Took the curry back to show the lady and felt rushed out, due to customers being in there I’m reckoning, as my refund for the curry was thrown at me and told ‘sorry’. Wouldn’t recommend this Chinese at all I’d stay away!!!!

The portion sizes here are very good Prices are also much more competetive than most places The salt and pepper chicken strips are to die for! Will deffinately be back soon

Yo y la familia decide tener un chino. Yo siendo vegetariano opté por rollos de primavera vegetarianos, patatas fritas, salsa de curry y arroz hervido. El tamaño de la porción era enorme. La comida era más que suficiente. Sin embargo, mi compañero pedí una roll vegetariano primavera en vez de rollos de primavera, vegetariana mini acabé con un roll vegetariano chop suey" al platillo. Que estaba bien hasta que me corten la cosa. Estaba lleno de soja y brotes de soja. Tenía un olor nauseabundo y sabor desagradable. Adjunto de la enorme cantidad de soja! Me echó y arruinó la comida para ser honesto.

Hemos tenido un número de comidas frim este lugar y más masas la comida ha sido buena. Pero últimamente las cosas han cambiado.

El uso de comida cada semana desde aquí y siempre había una gran comida y volvería a decir muchas personas de ir allí, tuvimos una comida para llevar y fue una decepción. Noté que el Resultado de higiene en la puerta de 2 pero pensamos que nunca tuvimos mala comida probablemente sólo una pequeña ningún problema hasta tenían , cómo malo fue que me! curry especial es el arroz lo que sabía de limón, 4 pequeñas piezas de cerdo de pollo lo que el perro tenía incluso de masticar! langostinos y 5 , costillas estaba tan salada no podía comer! Nunca más y EHO será informado sobre la comida

Solía vivir al otro lado de la calle, así que tenía que probar este lugar. Probé el Hong Kong pollo pelotas con patatas fritas y fue lugar de comida estupenda y una mujer encantadora bien hecho ... también tiene una buena relación calidad-precio.

Had a phone order for 4. No waiting around. Lovely staff. Great food and lots of it.Only down side is please take the posters off the wall behind waiting area. Some over 1yr old..out of date. Make you wonder why they don't keep front of house neat.... But can't knock the food .

I have been going to Sun City for years now with both friends and family and we collectively have never had a bad experience yet. Whilst this is not a restaurant (take away only) and it does not deliver (its only down fall), the staff are friendly and the food is excellent!They have everything a standard Chinese has to offer but the taste and flavour is well beyond that of other Chineses (both locally and nationally!!!). The highlights are their special chow mein, chicken/prawn/pork/beef and cashew nuts in a birds nest (excellent dish, made by the birds nest), schzewan (nice hot dish which can be extra hot if you ask nicely!), chips (they taste much better than chippy chips!!!) and chilly beef (not like other take away places... less sticky with a very watery sauce but don't let that put you off!). Prices for mains are about £4.70 (includes boiled rice or chips) with fried rice costing an extra 50p. You get a tonne of food for your money, more than any other Chinese I have been to! THey don't use the plastic take away boxes, instead they have the old school metal trays which are HUGE!!! (enough for some the day after!!!) I'm not sure where the cut off for free prawn crackers is... we always get a mountain of food and they are always thrown in free! Other options include their specials menu which has a couple of dishes, spring rolls etc... for about £7 for 1 person.
