2.5.2025 Friday afternoon I go to Asda often but no more as fed up of being treated like a dog turd"" went to self scan place with my item and put my item on right side as basket on left so could remove basket to put my item there to scan it to put on left side but not had no chance to do so as this women came there with a face that could stop a clock and said there you put it then scan then put it there she said I knew this and was about to say this but she went"" then I had to ok this item so she came to clear it and as she did I said to her I know how to do it as they different to Tesco ones I said as yet again blank me off so asked her what her name is she showed me her name badge with no words mentioned I was not happy I told her your horrible woman but she not hear me as I walked from there I said to a passing customer she horrible and she said yes she is I take no notice she said but I said I come here to shop not to be treated like dirt I said"""her name was Julie aged about 50s to 60s the was another horrible woman called Debbie there but not seen her thank god for that""one woman who sometimes there and on tills is a woman called Marie such a pleasant nice woman always is as credit to the company,,also them on the counter selling scratch card are dry and no customer service skills"""if that Julie not want to be there as Quit yes not take it out of customers but sadly not go there no more as not go there to be treated like dirt or any customer should not be treated like dirt""so beware my dear followers of this ok""ps also I remember the time that for you to get a job and get up the ladder you needed experience,,skills,,teamwork,,hardworking""but now it gossiping,,grassing,,sly two faced,,carry tales to bosses is the skills and experience you need,,,

We went in with 2 children who are autistic and one ended up screaming and spilling a drink everywhere but they were absolutely amazing about it and gave them each a lollipop and drink.

Avoid room 12. It is ghastly. No TV, very dusty bare bracket on the wall. No toilet paper. Had to go get some from a different hotel. No soap provided. Room very cold. Heating not working. Draughts from window frames. Top landing lights don't come on making the entire floor dangerous in the dark. Had to leave a day early as it made my companion ill. Very disappointed and very disgusted. Messages through booking dot com go unanswered.

Vfm food, OK but not fantastic. No parking nearby so we hung around on a street whilst I went for the food. Free parking after 6pm but still no free official spaces! Dolgellau needs a good car park. Roads are narrow, with a one way system, and often very steep! The takeaway is very dated but you work with what you can afford-think it's stuck in the 70's and 80's with wood panelling on the walls. The lady who served me was polite and was served very quickly. There's no delivery service, and no Deliveroo Just eat etc. A gap in the market maybe?! Will go there again.

Fish and chip to share with the wife with a pot of gravy. Gravy was tasteless and lumpy . Fish was over cooked and dry ( probably get a better fish from Iceland) Chips ok but overall not good at all for the price £12 !!

Went there with wife after shopping for cup of coffee and something to eat..ordered 2 slices of fried bread (asked for thin or normal sized bread ,but was told only thick bread available..ii found that quite amazing for a supermarket ) wife had bowl of chips which were almost cold and looked anything but appetizing ....the fried bread was absolutely dripping(excuse the pun) with grease,so much so that picking a piece up left me with grease running down my wrist ..neither of us ate what we ordered to put it mildly it was just pigslop and thats being kind...dirty cups ,uncleared tables didnt help. if theres a worse cafe around i sincerely hope i dont find it.....-10 out of 10

Ordered via the app, they got quite a few things wrong. No breads with 2 kebabs, no salad with one and the wrong kebab. Ordered chicken doner and lamb doner combination, it didn’t have any bread with it. Ordered chicken doner with salad, it came as chicken shawarma with no salad and no bread. The small doner with salad had hardly any meat. The large chips weren’t very large and the pizza was overdone for my grandson. Pretty poor. Usually get free garlic bread with cheese which is usually lovely, didn’t get anything ! They got it wrong last time, so it’s time to move on from here. I did ring to complain, they said they were very busy and would bring it later …. What’s the point ? The food would have just gone cold. Just told them it was very poor.

Always good food. Very clean and great value.

Extremely bland food.Simply the worst Chinese food I have ever had.They could learn a few things from my local Chinese in Wigan.Peters chippy its called .That is quality with large portions as well. Bland and small potions and the egg fried rice is nothing I've ever experienced before.AWFUL..😝

Having visited Porthmadog all my life as family live nearby, I have always enjoyed the High Street, so it was great to see a Costa addition on my latest visit… First impressions, it was clean and dog friendly, always a bonus, despite which, we always sit tucked away out of reach of those customers who may not want the company of a pooch 🙂 Unfortunately, this is where the positive impression ended, as the lady behind the counter with dark hair was rude, unfriendly and utterly miserable, she needs a lesson in hospitality ~ That is, unless you are ‘local’ in which case she goes out of her way to be the perfect host! It was clear to see her interaction with locals being completely different to those who, appear not to be so local…She made us feel like we shouldn’t be there, and in all honesty, we left without finishing our purchases as observing her with certain customers was sour to see! Such a shame this attitude has come to Porthmadog, a place that is, essentially ran on tourism, like it or not, it is a place us ‘outsiders’ want to visit, and our contribution to the local economy should be embraced, not turned against by individuals like this. Do better Costa! There’s so much competition around, so make it a place that people who don’t fit in the ‘locals box’ want to spend money, otherwise I fear you will become another boarded up shop….

Servicio horrible. Camarero atroz. Estuvo de pie en el bar durante 5 - 10 minutos esperando ser servido, cuando finalmente llegó mi momento de ser servido un grupo de chicos se acercó al bar. El servidor acudió instantáneamente a ellos (a pesar del hecho de que estuve allí mucho tiempo antes que ellos) ella claramente conocía a las personas, ya que se dirigió a ellos por su nombre. El lugar es horrible, el camarero claramente no conoce el servicio al cliente en absoluto, ¡tal vez se necesite hacer alguna capacitación en este establecimiento, ya que esto no es a lo que he estado acostumbrado en el pasado!

Ordered via Uber eats. Sandwiches arrived beautifully packaged and with decent amount of filling.

I ordered over the phone yesterday and they said 15 mins!! Went to pick it up and I waited over an hour there for it to be ready...such a shame!!

I visited on the first days of January and am pleased that the review from the person on the 24th indicates that every issue that was the complete opposite in my experience had been addressed and it's marvelous that attitudes and service have been turned around completely. A magic wand has be waved so I look forward to a pleasant experience on my next visit.
