The best restaurants in North Wales

Big appreciation for putting on a fundraiser for the Bangor food bank, great music, and great service for a great cause, staff have been absolutely amazing, would definitely recommend.

We were tempted by the coffee and cake offer and from the illustration of a generous piece of cake we were looking forward to it. The coffee was fine, albeit in a take away cup but the cake was very disappointing, a small piece, again in a takeaway box, not worth the price. Beware!

We popped in without a booking but were happy to have our meal in the bar area.The service was good,prices reasonable and we both had the fish and chips which was excellent. We were staying nearby and would definitely return if we are in the area again.A beautiful location next to the sea.

We didn't stay here,we were staying at other accommodation but we called in 3 times for food,drinks and breakfast on one of the mornings.Nice place,good food,great staff.Lovely views at the back of the hotel overlooking the valley.Nice seating areas.Plenty of parking which you do need to pay for,not expensive.Food and drink very well priced as you expect from a Weatherspoons.We found it clean and so we're the toilet facilities.Well worth popping in if your in the area.We would definitely go back.

Very welcoming and such good staff. The food was everything you expect and was presented well . We will return when in the area.

Based in Criccieth in a good old fashioned castle looking Indian Restaurant, which also do takeaways. Some if the staff are friendly some others quite blunt and the room can get very cold in the winter, but the food has always been very good, it had a year where it went a bit downhill but has picked right up again, very good restaurant.

Upon arrival we weren’t greeted and had to find our reserved table. One of the girls behind the bar wasn’t happy about being there. I asked for some colours and paper for the children to do while we waited and I received simply a head shake, not even a sorry no. A head shake. I didn’t catch the name of the young man who served us our food but he has outstanding customer service. Food again was great and at a great price. The outside heaters weren’t working when we went which was a little disappointing but not the end of the world. Overall okay; would return.

Biggest scam out there, parked up and went in for a coffee, sign said wait to be seated, so i walked to macdonalds for a take out coffee instead, didnt want to sit in. A few weeks later ive had a 100 pound fine for not registering my vehicle to park there. Do not use this diner or carpark!

There is times of the day where there's no alternative for having a coffee in town. We went here twice during our visit of Caernarfon. I did not take a coffee at the second visit as I didn't like it. It is less clean inside and everything seems a little loveless. The sweet cakes etc. are great though. At least, the products are rather inexpensive.

Served promplty by friendly staff tables needed wiping though and clearing.There were seats available and the floor was relatively clean

Good for a coffee but a bit expensive

We arrived at 6.00pm for a Sunday roast and the restaurant was very quiet so we decided to sit in the bar. It took a while to get someone to take the order and we informed the server that my wife was gluten free and that was not a problem. The roast dinner arrived and we looked at the roast potatoes which were well over cooked and tasted like they had been in the oven or under a hot lamp for far to long, the Yorkshire pudding was also dry and crusty. The dinner at best was Luke warm and my wife sent hers back to be heated up in a microwave. For the price of £17.95 it should of all been fresh and hot. We had been traveling most of the day so we were hungry and ate most of the dinner but we were very disappointed. The bar prices were also high £5.80 for a pint of cider. We have eaten here in the past and always found the food very good but will not be visiting again.

Very poor food. The fish and chips were awful - a cheap small frozen battered fish with minimal frozen chips and no peas despite being on the menu. If this was typical they are clueless.

Me and my partner like to come here regularly and decided to take advantage of the cinema discount as we was heading to the cinema straight after our food,my partner had ordered the crispy BBQ chicken burger off the menu and wanted no salad or no sauce to which wasn’t a issue. We waited for our food to arrive and my partner went for his burger to which we discovered it had sauce on it so I called over one of the workers and explained it was meant to be just chicken,cheese and bacon no salad or sauce to which he apologised and got this sorted.5 minutes the burger came back only to be now JUST chicken,no cheese or bacon. When I tried to get the waitress attention it was like we were invisible they were more interested in being chatty with the table next to us!! In the end we had no time to wait anymore to correct this error as we had somewhere to be! The waitress came over to clear our plates and I had explained the situation and said we may Aswel asked for the cheaper burger as that’s what he basically had to which she was apologetic and said she would sort this on our bill and offered us a free pudding as an apology. As working in hospitality previously myself I don’t understand how it’s possible to get an order wrong twice after myself explaining Not sure if I would return after this experience as we usually love it there

Amazing food and atmosphere!! I went there Sunday with my fiancé and we were both left amazed by how kind and welcoming the staff were, the food was fantastic, we even went for seconds. The only thing that went wrong was that it was quite louder than expected with all of the locals yelling, leaving a few other people uncomfortable as well. But other than that, it was a great experience and definitely worth the money
