Staying local And traveled a Long way, we didn’t really want To venture out ant further. The first impression was not good, and I should have left then, but I still decided to eat there. A member of staff directed us to some seats, Once the order for food was taken, a member of staff brought the dirty knives and forks over, and someone smelling like they still had a cigarette in their mouth brought the drinks. The service was slow and The food was cold, their burgers were slightly re heated and and any juice that might have been once there had Long gone. All pictures are faded and this place is dirty. We said goodbye as we left And we weren’t even acknowledged.

Feel free to visit is you want an extra £100 adding on to your bill. The staff make no attempts to notify its customers that a reg has to entered on arrival. This is the biggest scam!

Absolutely awful myself and my husband went to go to the A55 ok diner pulled up in the car park go into the diner seeing the place was rammed as it is the summer holidays we decided to leave the restaurant and carry on our journey. Next couple of days we found out we have been fined £ 100 for just pulling up into the car park absolute disgrace this should not be allowed why not put ballards up at night if you don't want people to park.

Received a £100 parking fine like others on here! I think this is very deceptive & was never made aware of. Disputed it but got rejected. Will never go there again & food was below average at best. Avoid!!!

We visited OK Diner for dinner after a day out. My wife has really fond memories of going there as a child. We had only just literally sat down when they tried to take our food order. She returned again with a minute to take the food order again only for us to send her away. When the food arrived, there was no issues other Thea the fact they were spaced apart by a significant amount of time. For pudding, I chose a “warm ring donut” thinking it was going to be fresh, soft and warm. What I received was a minimum three day old donut cakes with completely melted ice cream. I am angry at myself for not complaining at the time, but it is my own fault as I was raised not to moan or complain. To be fair, they gave us a discount as all of our puddings had liquid ice cream. However, they couldn’t give blue light discount because they had already given us a discount for the ice cream!! Seriously, do not go there. You will only be wasting your money.

Called in for a bite having not been here for 20 years !!. The two young women staff were very pleasant and friendly and the service was top notch. Food was very tasty with generous portions. The old place could do with a bit of a spruce up , but I can't fault the staff, the service or the food. Still a far much better experience than the souless McDonalds 's across the carpark.

Service started off really friendly when drinks and food order were taken. Drinks were delivered after a long wait by a different, equally friendly, waitress who then brought our meals straight after. It was all down hill from there really. We never saw another server again. The staff were all down the other end of the diner and the couple of tables up our end were all ignored. The tables also weren’t particularly clean. We waited an age just to be able to ask for the bill. Half of our table left and went to wait in the car because the smell of grease and deep fried food was getting over powering and we were fed up of sitting there being ignored. Eventually had to go and ask for the bill. One meal was pretty cold, one was pretty greasy and salty so not eaten and one meal was just ‘okay’. It was supposed to be a birthday breakfast treat so it turned out to be an expensive and disappointing meal.

Avoid at all costs. Miserable, abrupt staff who spend most of their time scowling. No soap in toilets - instantly incredibly off putting. Dirty glasses. We asked for another glass and were brought another dirty one, so I'm guessing this is standard. Terrible atmosphere. Do not expect smiles or a welcome. A truly dreadful experience. One of the most unwelcoming places I've ever had the misfortune to eat at. Awful choice of food for vegetarians. Had a jacket potato which was quite clearly microwaved from frozen and was really grim and powdery. Smallest portion of cheese to accompany potato I have ever seen. Husband had burger which was also not nice. All food expensive despite being terrible. How anyone can give this place a good review is totally beyond me.

I've been here a few times over the years. Busy as always. Ordered the bigger one breakfast and coffee as I know you get free refills. Food came out quickly and tasted great. Still not sure about the thin sausages because they didn't taste of much but their mushrooms are amazing. Bill came to £13.60 which is abit pricey for a breakfast but not too bad. The waitress who served me was extremely busy but she was nice and friendly. I'd recommend here and definitely try there all I've cream proper milkshakes. They aren't cheap but they taste amazing.

Anyone who knows me knows that when I eat out I am the worlds worse karan . As I feel if I’m paying for something then I have to have expectations . So seems I haven’t eaten out in a while I decided to treat myself to breakfast . Upon arriving I had a lovely greeting and was seated quickly . Seems it was early I was surprised that all the team had smiles on their faces and were very polite (me I can be a grump in the mornings ) so that was very welcoming . I was seated and asked what I’d like to drink I order and recieved it quickly . Then I lovely lady who was on the till came to take my order . I asked for a couple of changes to my menu like can my toast be buttered straight away and my grilled tomato’s be done until they were soft . As I’m fussy . When my meal turned up all my requests had been met with no complaints I know it’s not much of a change but it was my change . The meal was fantastic and plated up to a very high standard . Well done to the cook not sure of her name but she had blue hair . The staff checked I was ok and that the food was ok and did I want a too up of coffee . I was extremely impressed . Well done a massive improvement to the last time I came in . Thank you so much .

The place was dirty when we walked in and the seating area we were sat at needed a good clean. The table was dirty, the table sides needed a scrub to remove stains and the floor under the table had old food on. The food itself was not good at all. We ordered nachos which according the the menu came with chees and jalapeño but ours had none, I had to go and ask for some cheese which eventually turned up. The meals themselves were tasteless and not appealing at all. The fried chicken was the poorest quality and the salad that went with it well past it’s sell by date which is why it was untouched. The staff didnt ask how things were at bill time but they were told anyway. The young lady giggled and said the nachos were her fault and thought it funny but didn’t offer to any discount or good will jesture. She just didn’t seem to grasp that salad should be fresh and not curled up and dry. Probably the worst diner we have been in in many years, why it has so many good reviews I do not know. We will certain family and friends to avoid.

Worst service ever. Didn't even end up eating there. After waiting 20 minutes to be seated we then ordered the food and after watching others around us receive their food and the young female manager with long black hair go for several fag breaks we asked when our food would be ready as on top off the 20 minutes we waited to be seated we had been waiting another hour for the food, for them to say they forgot to put the order through. No apology. Was literally laughed at us. Would never go there again.

We were greeted with a sign saying cash only. Then no coke, can't have a coke float, after 20 minutes of not being served, the waitress said she had been told to set tables, rather than serve customers. So we left. Good job McDonald's is in the same car park, surprise surprise, they did want our business

Waited in line thinking this must be a great place to eat - wrong !!! Burgers were dreadful, one can only guess what was in them and they came burnt. We ordered two teas which tasted absolutely awful. Never ever again - go to McDonalds across the way.

The juice Coke Zero and Diet Coke were flat the gas needed changed the lovely staff change it only to have the order changed to tap water and I even suggested changing the gas but staff said we’d need to call someone to do that!!! The so called Philly chicken was fit for the bin the roll was so dry it fell to bits so that was left to personally honest you would be better going to McDonald’s across the road the food would of been better and half the price but the staff were great for putting up with a shocking chef who can’t do their job and juice machine not working so 10/10 to staff 👍 but avoid at all costs

Fleeced , Me and my partner eat cheaper at maccies and get better food there ! . The table surface wasn’t great , the “starters” came with the mains and came cold . The place is dirty and stank , you would be wise to avoid . The cheesy nachos had a drop of cheese , honestly I’m shocked the place is still in business .

Absolutely amazing from beginning to end!! From the atmosphere, to the food, and especially the staff. Could not have asked for better. On the way home and can't wait to go back already!

I’m an ok card member and generally love the food and ambience. I came out of my way to take my disabled sister here today as a treat. After her enjoying a milkshake and me a coffee we ended up settled in for a good long wait, and difficultly catching the attention of the busy staff to get a refil, eventually discovering that the waiting staff had ‘forgot’ to order our food on their system. Whilst they did then offer 50% off and comped our drinks, I’d already been sat there over an hour at that point and needed to leave to get other things done, and had no idea how long it might take for them to actually deliver the food.

Quick service, tasty food and decent EV charging points 100m away at McDonalds. Love the diner vibe and big portions. Proper mugs of tea too!

Popped in for Sunday brunch with my mum. She loved the 1950s decor.I had the full breakfast and it was EXCELLENT. We stood waiting to be seated for 5 minutes while the only staff member told us just 2 minutes and then spent the next 5 minutes sorting out the ketchup and condiments. When he finally seated us we looked through the menu and made our choice quickly then spent 10 minutes waiting for him to take our order we both ordered bacon and egg sandwiches on bloomer when they came the bread was definately not bloomer just thick sliced normal bread the bacon was crisped to an inch of its life and the egg was hard and burned at the edges.When we paid I used card which he snatched off me and used it contactless, then while i waited for the receipt he just asked what we were waiting for and would we like to pay again.The whole attitude of the staff was terrible and he obviously had no customer interaction most times just throwing the plates onto the table.I would definately recommend you avoid this establishment and spend your money better and with better service at Mcdonalds.

So Nando’s was shut and we’ve always wanted to try ok Diner so we went and we got seated after a 1 minute wait the woman who sat us was so nice and she said me and my sister were beautiful. I ordered the Strawberry milkshake my sister had the Lotus shake my dad cookies ‘n’ cream and my mother Diet Coke and the scoop of ice cream they were all very delicious. Outside it says 5 stars. The place was beautiful and on each booth was a coat hanger. The bathroom was very clean and they let us use it with no worries. Once the food came I had Pancakes with bacon and strawberries which I had added but it came with butter and syrup. I would 100 •/• recommend.

Stopped for breakfast while travelling to North Wales. ( in the old days we would stop at one of the many Little Chefs along the route ) if you don’t want to stop at McDonalds or one of the national coffee chains, there now isn’t much choice ! But the Ok Diner is a good option, clean and quick service, good value.,
