The best restaurants in Prestwick South Ayrshire South West Scotland

4 adults welcomed and treated well . The main menu is nice and plenty of choice. There is also a cheaper menu that is served till 6pm with cheaper but similar options. We were given extra cutlery and plates so we could share our starters and desserts. Chicken tempura to start hot and fresh The main courses were nicely presented the mashed potatoes delicious seasonal veg nicely cooked 2 braised ribeye 1 chicken pepper sauce without the haggis 1 chicken with cream cheese and in a cream and tomato sauce lovely Nice choice of dessert

Twice in the last month or so I’ve been on a Saturday night to get haddock suppers and twice they’ve not had haddock, but whiting! What fish and chip shop doesn’t have haddock? Now going to ‘The Chippy’ at Prestwick Cross - friendlier and they have haddock!

Very friendly and welcoming considering I'm not a local, but my son lives within the vicinity so I guess that makes me kinda local... First time in the bar... Very nice and modern interior, with really nice staff... Food was decent pub grub and prices very reasonable... Defo be returning 😁

Found this lovely restaurant whilst on a day trip to Prestwick and we were not disappointed. As it was a nice sunny day we sat in the front terrace which is very nicely decorated and on reviewing the menu we noticed that on a Monday to Thursday they offer meals at £4.95 from the main menu. We picked our meals and drinks then went to the bar to order where drinks were served and our meals arrived at our table a short while after, meals were excellent and when next in the area will definitely return Staff were all very pleasant, keep up the good work.

Ordered a snack box of chips, rice and curry and a portion of mini spring rolls, curry sauce was spicy but sweet, good size portion was under £10, would recommend in in area.

Food was cold. Chips were flung on top of crepe, not very appetising. Very expensive for cold mushed up food. Won’t order from there again. Would have been better making something to eat myself and saved £20!

This place is horrendous and not dog friendly, unless you want to sit in a dirty leaky awning with zero service. Please avoid.

Was in last night first time watched all the fish that was going out don't know if they were regulars but they were big when I got mine was a mino very small not worth the money

A nice place for a bite to eat. We all had the All Day Breakfast and I added black pudding to mine. This was a mistake.

Food not very tasty. I got tikka husband got curry no taste really. Staff lovely and helpful

Often visited in the past and while I do understand the current limitations while Covid is lurking around the price for two people to have a two course meal with a few drinks was just over £90!!!! I’m sorry, but this is not Turnberry or the Hilton in central London. Won’t be back until sensible pricing returns. Food was ok, a bit average but the staff were as always polite and friendly. The once varied menu was much more limited than before but there’s always something for either of us.

£48 for 3 pizza's is a lot of money, hence 4 stars, especially ordering at the counter. The staff get 5 stars, friendly, helpful, chatty.
