Stopped in after a disappointing visit to the kilt shop. The cafe staff are warm and friendly. After sharing a joke about whether they take English money they were able to recommend a number of kilt hire outlets. They even called the shop for me and even the customers got involved. Outstanding service food and drink. Best flat white in Prestwick. I got sorted with my kilt in the end. They saved the day. Thanks ladies.

I visited the BUF on Saturday 13th April 2025 and received amazing customer service from the bartender Stephen. I had a very bad cold and couldn’t speak well as the busy bar, the bartended Stephen was very accommodating to myself and girlfriend and made the full experience very easy for myself multiple times throughout the night . I thanked him at the time and asked if there was a way to review his customer service and he gave me a very modest reply. Something along the lines of “you don’t need to review me, this is my job don’t worry” I had to leave a review though, 10/10 customer service and if there is any way to give him a direct tip I would love to. If there is a way to leave a tip, please reply to this review with contact information.

The Munchy Box arrives in a pizza box so big, I mistook it for a flat-pack IKEA table. It’s a glorious mess of Scottish takeaway staples with an Indian twist: a sea of chicken tikka masala that could drown a Viking, lamb korma spicy enough to make you see bagpipes, a pile of chips that could star in a landslide documentary, and naan breads large enough to use as a windsurf. There’s also pakoras the size of golf balls, onion bhajis that could roll down Ayr High Street, and a token salad I’m convinced was just grass from Burns Statue Square. Wikipedia says munchy boxes are for sharing, but I took it as a personal challenge—and I’m still in recovery.

While shopping called in for breakfast and met Finn at the till. He then delivered our meal. He was everywhere in the cafe serving, delivering and cleaning tables. This guy is amazing. He is a great ambassador for the company.
