We are regular visitors to The Teapot Cafe and became regular visitors due to the quality and quantity of food that is on offer, together with the friendly welcome in what is a growing business. All of the cakes are handmade on the day, soups are delicious and our favourites are the ham salad roles and mince and tatties. Highly recommend this cafe/ takeaway.

We are now regulars of this cafe/takeaway which is under the NEW MANAGEMENT of Donna who took it on as her own business 1 year ago. She always welcomes us with a smile and knows all her repeating customers by name. Good quality ingredients cooked by someone who knows what she is doing and cheap at the price. Her food is made from scratch, including the range of cakes she offers. Home made soup - lentil, tomato and potato served with a freshly cut slice of brown bread, are my personal favourites. Iced gingerbread and, ham salad rolls, morning rolls, truffles and the scones.... what can I say about them. Mine is a treacle one! I am certainly trying hard not to put on weight. I have also had homemade lasagne and mince and tatties... which I happened to hear Karen Dunbar of TV fame rave about one day when we were there.... " Best Mince and Tatties I've had in 7 years!" Inclined to agree with her. If you haven't tried this wee place, you are missing out on one of Prestwick's assets.

First time visit for lunch, certainly won’t be our last. Three separate meals, all day breakfast, coronation chicken toastie and tuna baked potato. Fresh, quality ingredients which were perfectly cooked. All three meals were thoroughly enjoyed. Good coffee too. Friendly, helpful staff. Excellent value for money. Other diners food looked excellent too especially the fresh bread. Didn’t sample the home baking but looked delicious. Great to come across a local, independent shop producing such quality service and food. Definitely worth a visit!!!

Myself and my partner recently came here for and early lunch as it is dog friendly. We both eat and had drinks for around £12 which I thought was very reasonable. Being dog friendly is why we came in the first place. Dog friendly is quite a big thing for us as we do a lot with our dogs. The service was quick and friendly. I would recommend the tea pot if you are in a rush or on a budget. The tea pot offers very generous portions as well. I would return

First time visitors. We were heading to another place that was closed and ended up in Prestwick. I like the look on the Tea Pot as we passed so was happy to give it a go. What a wee gem. We both opted for the Cajun Chicken wrap which was nicely presented with some mixed side salad, cous cous, a wee bit of booked egg and crisps. Definitely not what I was expecting and it was delicious. Large pot of tea to share and at under £14 for 2 we left very happy. We would go back.

We came here for lunch with my mum who is in a wheelchair. We managed to get in the door and the place was quite small and we were unsure if we would be able to get mum's wheelchair in but we moved some chairs about and got a table. There is a toilet but its not wheelchair accessabile as its out the back and very narrow. We chose 2 cheese and ham toasties and an egg mayo panni, chips and a pot of tea. There was a good choice to choose from on the menu. The food was nice and the price was reasonable.

My wife and I visited this wee establishment today, been meaning to for ages! My wife had the tea plate which included a pot of tea, a generous slice of sponge cake, a fruit scone with butter and jam, and a sandwhich. I had a cappuccino, and a chicken and bacon Mayo toastie with side salad. The total cost was £14.53. The quality was great and the portions generous. The service was prompt and friendly. We will return next time we are in the town I am sure.

The sandwich was simple but nice enough. Tasty cheese and ham. The macaroni was awful. Cold sludge made from cheap ingredients. Possibly the worst I've had. The place itself is fine but they really need to review their catering. It could be so much better

Usually eat here and never had an issue. Today we called and waiting 15 minutes and not served. Approached the counter and older lady said it was table service and take a seat. (We knew this but had waited). Sat back down and waited nearly another 15 minutes and nobody took our order. We were walked past several times by staff and ignored. Left and went elsewhere. Really disappointed at being made to feel so embarrassed after others noticed clearly and those arriving after us were served. Will sadly not return as left to feel like we were deliberately being ignored. Completely embarrassing experience.

We live between Deeside and Dorset and rarely in Ayrshire but down for wedding and decided to go to Scott’s as knew the owners through business over 20 years ago when they just had a couple of places & heard a lot about their massive success . Honestly , we couldn’t fault it and … we eat out a lot . From a genuinely lovely welcome from Beth to excellent service from all the staff ( Isabelle was particularly charming & efficient ) - wonderful choice of menu , terrific cuisine and good value for money …. With a charming view . Some people look to find fault wherever they go but , we genuinely found Scott’s faultless ( inc toilets , decor etc etc ) . Absolutely SUPERB - 10/10- well be back and Soon 🥂

What a wonderful shop and cafe the hub of the local community. The manger Alex and Young worker Becca are fabulous such excellent customer service. I'm currently walking the entire UK coast path solo for the RNLI with my Big agnes tent Aggie since July 4th over 7,600 walked and I am staying at a campsite nearby yo rest a sore ankle. Wow I arrived and was treated like a local welcomed in offered coffee and cake. The atmosphere was heartwarming everyone happy picking up provisions hot food or stopping by for a chat. A lost dog was found and kept amd cuddled by a staff member till the happy owner arrived to claim his doggy ❤️ fully recommend this wonderful place. Thank yoy manager Alex 5 star .
