While shopping called in for breakfast and met Finn at the till. He then delivered our meal. He was everywhere in the cafe serving, delivering and cleaning tables. This guy is amazing. He is a great ambassador for the company.

Went today with my granddaughter today both got a cheese an tomato toastie absolutely disgusting! The only slice of tomato was stuck on the outside on of the toastie, with cheese also on outside no cheese or tomato on the inside and only tomato paste. Wasn't even toasted all they did was melt the cheese on the top an bottom piece of bread was left untoasted an bread all soggy!!! If I could give less stars I would

Had a brilliant breakfast yesterday. Really tasty and of a good standard. Had the same meal at Morrisons today and was very disappointed.

Poor service at a local restaurant the previous night brought us the ASDA for breakfast and we had their £5 offer which was coffee - Orange Juice - Bacon/egg/2 Sausages/ 1 Square Sausage/Potato Cake/Blackpudding/Beans/Tomato n 2 toast. When you think Frankie n Bennys charge that just for the Coffee/Orange Juice this ASDA deal is Fantastic

We were in the store and peckish - so stopped for a sandwich and a hot drink. The coffee was excellent and the sandwiches OK. Traybakes were yummy! Surroundings are a tad spartan/utilitarian but the prices are good!

If the food in the cafe is a reflection of the food sold in the store I suggest you shop elsewhere Rude uninterested staff, dirty tables, Just Don't Go ...

sticky tables, cheap prices, poor food. APPALLING STAFF! rude staff with long waiting times, not because they are busy but because the staff can't be bothered. I wouldn't bother going again, i wish i hadn't bothered in the first place

Arrived at Cafe at 3.45pm today only to be told that they only had chips left, this place is a joke. Staff not willing to keep the customers happy, no wonder it runs empty

Visited here on Thursday 24th Nov for breakfast and asked for an omelette, the young lady said they had not been delivered, the store would have loads of eggs I am sure, however they come in pre made for heating and had not arrived yet so settled for an unhealthy bacon roll. Better luck next time!!

Breakfast is usually good here, with a few exceptions. usually understaffed though, and some items can get dried out a little when busy.Eg. they sometimes leave the eggs on too long and the yolk can be overcooked, but usually ok.

If you are hungry and can think of no where else to go. But otherwise not recommended as the food is mediocre at best

They seem to have a problem actually pricing items in this garden centre. Not sure why, since staff are usually tripping over each other. The cafe is generally staffed by a lot of very young, disorganised people behind the counters who lack any form of civility or people skills, and are more interested in flirting and chatting with each other. Why are they clearing food away at least an hour and a half before closing time, and making customers feel unwelcome. Almost like they don’t want customers. Won’t be back.

Had lunch here on a quiet Wednesday afternoon. Sits on a busy corner of the main street but once inside it opens into a bar area and good restaurant area and garden overlooking the river( and boatyard). Menu has a good selection of classic pub food. Took a little time for our meal to arrive but as is was freshly made this was not a problem. The boatyard burger was one of the best burgers I have had in years and my wife was delighted with the chicken pie with mash and fresh veg. The chef knows how to cook!! If you are in Girvan this place is worth a visit for the food and the view.

Me and the family visited the restaurant we had the pleasure of meeting Katy, who worked there she was very helpful and informative if she isn't the supervisor or manager she should be. Please can you ensure she gets staff recognition for her impeccable service. Thank you Katy, from Lee Kel and Fanily 😇
