Outstanding service and food fantastic always

Ordered a takeaway this evening - the food was excellent. We were visiting family after travelling from Leeds. Best chinese we have had in ages. Crispy beef and cantonese style chicken were really really good. Order was ready within 20 mins and a good price.

Food is amazing, only downside is if you are getting a takeaway and they are busy, it can take a while, however, that will not stop me from ordering from there again

Ordered food Saturday night after an hour I called to enquire about order, told it was with driver, another 30 mins passes and same story, and quite rude on phone, so 2 hours 15 mins later another phone call to them, now I'm told there's no food and they can start a fresh order, so food was cancelled and a Saturday night ruined by Beijing palace, certainly won't use them or recommend them to anyone, and 4 emails later and 6 days to get my refund, absolutely shocking, keep well clear of this place

Always get delivery from hear and food is always 10/10 but tonight the food was bland and cold

Now only a carry out, I was hoping that this wouldn’t come up , we have been using B P for years, as far back as when it had restaurant at rear . However we ordered a meal last Saturday for collection, after repeating order 3 X times I was passed over to another person. Meal was well below passable my Thai red curry was more like watery soup ( just pieces of chicken/ onion) no pepper or baby sweet corn etc ) fried rice should have been noodles I should have cottoned on when asked for large or small portions , roast duck was dry. I complained didn’t get a response! A waste of £30 ish Can’t honestly say I wouldn’t use it again but this time very very disappointing

Went in and ordered some food and it was ready in less than 1 minute which made me question why? O lying to be told they weren't busy very abruptly by the lady at the counter. When I got home it was stone cold! No way I was eating this! Anyone who cooks food in less than 1 minute there is something wrong with the way they prepare the food. AVOID AVOID!

Always smother everything in garlic and put in too many vegetables. Hate the sliced carrot and onion pieces are way too big. Persevered but won’t be back now.

Had takeaway. The veg soup to start with was delicious. The bbq spare ribs a pure treat, with fall off the bone meat, and so tasty. Singapore chicken was great, as was the king prawn with ginger and spring onion - although not enough spring onion and too much normal onion. Also had the singapore fried rice. I'm not sure I'd get this again as it wasn't spicy at all. Overall, though, we will go back again in the future.

I only ordered carryout, but I never ate in the restaurant, so I can't comment on table service.

We get food delivered regularly from here and usually receive piping hot delicious meals in around 20 minutes. The girl on the phone is always very friendly as is the person who does the delivery. In years of ordering there has only been one delivery that had the wrong item. On phoning to let them know , this was rectified very quickly and they couldn’t apologise enough.

This was a home delivery which seemed to take forever. Food was warm and the duck was chewy, raw in places and mostly fat skin which was rubbery due to being under cooked. Totally ruined my appetite.

Food was lovely..however the woman at the counter who served us did not know who had taken over the restaurant..🤔🤔very odd.... .

I've made this my regular Chinese takeaway. Consistently cooking quality meals for us. The odd time they get it slightly wrong they apologize and put it right. Great service with a smile.

Absolutely disgusting service. Loyal customer for over 10 years. Living outside the town but spend a fortune to have food delivered. Always recommended for others. Previous order took forever to be delivered and when arrived vegetarian meal missing leaving my daughter with no dinner. Was promised a free main and side next order as a good will gesture due to how late the delivery was, the fact food was missing and also that we're loyal customers. Made an order last night and was spoken to rudely, laughed at and told they woulnt be honouring their original good will gesture by the store owner. He also spoke rudely towards his staff whilst on the phone. The main annoyance here was not over not receiving the free meal as previously promised but the fact his attitude was so disgusting. Absolutely furious and will spend my money elsewhere in future ! Feel sorry for the people working for him as well if that's how he behaves. So disappointing when we've been using there for such a long time.

We dined in. The food was hot and delicious. Also served by a lovely young lady. Would definately return here. Can't praise it enough.

I ordered beef chop suey walk in take away. Food was good quality and waiting time was quick. Only problem was that they “over egged the pudding”. I like the bean sprouts, there was hardly any in there but there was everything else they had in the kitchen in it. Broccoli, baby corn in the cob, peppers and a ton of garlic. Chop suey to me is bean sprouts, onion and mushroom. This was not chop suey to me it was more like beef and vegetables with garlic. Was disappointed, won’t order again.

Went round to order smoked shredded chicken was told don’t sell it only shredded chicken asked if that’s BATTER with NO CHICKEN was told yes. So didn’t order will not be back

Placed an order at 4pm to be delivered at 6pm. Still not arrived by 6.30pm. Rang up to see where it was and not arriving till 7.30pm. Crap service won’t use again!!!

best chinese in ayr...BUT let down recently by 3 hour wait for delivery! very disappointed! Food is amazing but can’t justify the wait! what a shame! ordered through the app!

I haven't always enjoyed Chinese food however was introduced to Beijing Palace by my mum and I am now converted. The food. Is always fresh, always warm and always tasty. Prices are fair and reasonable too.

I have had some Chineses in my time this is the top of the shop for shxxxt disgusting dry. And expensive do better at home pass on way past plenty more

Ordered online on 3rd July at 5.15pm So disappointed in the amount of time we waited! We were told 45 minutes online- I rang up after 1 hour 10 minutes and the girl on the phone was so rude! She said that she had updated the app to say 1 hour (which she hadn’t) and I explained even if she had we were now at 70 minutes and it was still waiting to be collected by the driver! It’s not 6.35 and it’s still not here and we were told another 15/20 minutes. NO apology and rude cheeky staff on the phone! I’m furious!

Ordered from here the other night. The food was awful and the customer service was disgusting. I had to return the meals back, which they were refusing to refund me at first. The staff are extremely rude, especially the young girl with the glasses. She seemed like I was bothering her when I called to complain about the food, saying 'what do you want me to do about it' and then hung up the phone when I asked for them to collect the food and give me a refund. They don't value their customers at all, only interested in taking your money.

The staff seemed a bit miserable and acted like eating there was a massive inconvenience to her and like we were ruining her day by making her get up and serve us. Wasn't very good food either, had better microwave meals from Aldi. Also the drinks were overpriced, £1.80 for a small glass of milk! What's that about?

Best Chinese take away I’ve had since moving to Ayr 2 years ago 🙌🏻😂 chicken isn’t rubbery it’s not too greasy either can’t fault them and would highly recommend 👍🏻

I come down from Kilmarnock a few times a week just for the special chow mein best in Ayrshire it's only missing water chestnut but I can live with that.

This establishment has seriously went to the dogs. It seems the staff do not care anymore. Order placed for delivery and told 30-45 mins to be delivered. Expected it to be longer as the lst few times we have used them it has been about an hour for delivery. 1 hour passes so i phone. To be told my order is out for delivery another 20 mins pass i phone again and i am then informed it has “apparently” been delivered to a wrong address, they will make now and send out with a 15% reduction on price, which was £32. We are now 1 hour and 40 mins from original delivery time. Told them not to bother, will not use again. EVER! Hungry kids and elderly in-laws left extremely dissapointed. Very poor customer service and sub standard staff restaurant lacks communication. Only given 1 star as there no option for 0

Always been a nice place and the food is great! deliveries been a wee bit late now and then ..but it is a busy restaurant so no complaints and very nice delivery drivers too! Recommended

Used to be our favourite Chinese! Chow mien was the bomb. Best in the town but lately food has been of poor quality and the chips has been sent out twice deep fried. Not fresh. I really hope the restaurant can get back to the way it used to be, it’s a shame to let it go.

Have used this for takeaway for a while and the food and menu has been good. Decided to try the restaurant sit in but was disappointed . It wasnt very warm and welcoming, the surroundings that is and I was a bit cold as a door was open. The staff were helpful but the place lacks ambience. Also they insist on cash payment which isnt good these days. Some different lighting and even tablecloths would make it bit more appealing. Food is varies and good though

Disgusting takeaway had to bin food ,ordered chips and gravy along with spring rolls, got home 50 yds to find 2 hairs in food ,thought maybe I could overlook first until I found a second in among food ,called management to complain, taxi sent with replacement food which driver knew nothing about complaint, gave him evidence of takeaway lid with cling film around the hair to return to manager. Have to say food so bad second portion was also binned due to quality it was awful

I often go to the Beijing Place and it is my first choice for Chinese in the Newton/Prestwick area. Staff are always friendly and smiley. Food is tasty and fresh. I order chicken and broccoli a lot and it is delicious. I've genuinely never had a problem and know this to be a small business doing its best. I would also recommend the chicken chow mein and chicken foo jung. It's always a nice surprise to get some free spring rolls if the order is big enough. I would give it a try for yourself!

Use it regularly, great food if you are selective on the menu, best to phone and its always ready to collect, chips are the worst in Prestwick, service can be a bit slow if you walk in, its cash only which is strange "or is it ?"

Mala atención al cliente, y el personal es muy grosero. Solicitó que se envió una entrega y tardo una hora en venir, debido casi cancelarla. Cuando llegué, me parecía llegar el orden equivocado, me ha extra arroz frito patatas fritas y huevo. El personal es extremadamente desagradable. Me llamó la segunda vez a preguntar donde estaba el conductor de la entrega y los miembros del personal dice que "él es justo en su camino". Cuelga el teléfono. Yo les llamé de vuelta y explicó que su servicio de atención al cliente era absoluta y después de explicar que atroz que ella colgó el teléfono, ella intentó negar diciendo: "eso nunca sucedió". Was great years ago flavours and quality not there now chicken was a rather strange texture.The rice and chips left a lot to be desired don't think I will return in a hurry.

Servicio personal repugnante, repugnante y comida asquerosa. Solía pedir desde aquí todo el tiempo como solía ser muy buena, no volveré! ! El personal habla a la gente como si son un problema. No sé lo que es peor, ni el frío, la comida sobras congeladas. Yo les aconsejaría que evitar si quieren permanecer de buen humor.

Tenía 7 a alimentar. Pedimos tres platos de carne. 2 grandes de arroz, fideos sin nada. Las verduras, rollos de tortitas, patatas y verduras curry lado plato + por supuesto. De todos modos mucha comida. Algunos quedan. Un regalo tirado demasiado y muy sabrosos con comida preparada rápidamente para colección. Incluso las galletas de La Fortuna era bueno, divertido y sabroso. Sin duda el fin de nuevo y lo recomiendo

My teenage daughter can be fussy about her food, so we selected a well reviewed Chinese restaurant. I should have called a halt to the evening when I noticed how greasy the tables were when we sat down, but we had parked and we were hungry. We took time to ask carefully about the Chicken Fried Rice that my daughter decided on. When it came, she just said it was, "not great." But as she ate her way through it, she suddenly exclaimed that there was ham hidden underneath the rice. So she began to pull out the pieces of ham and put them to one side of her plate. Not just one or two pieces in there by mistake, but a lot of ham. The meal was ruined for her. I asked to see the menu where it said the Chicken Fried Rice had ham in it, and the woman who claimed she was the manager said it wasn't written on the menu, but Chicken Fried Rice always has ham in it. This so-called manager claimed my daughter had eaten most of her meal and so wouldn't take anything off the bill. But she had eaten about half of it because the ham was underneath the chicken and rice, and she didn't see it until she had eaten some. If she'd known there was ham in it, she wouldn't have touched it! I haven't mentioned my own selection of food in this, which was equally terrible. Really, it was the worst Chinese food we've ever had.

We did not have a good experience with a take away order tonight 20/10/ ! Chicken very processed and rubber in texture . Didn't not taste of freshly made food . Called to complain and was told the manager could not speak to me due to laungage barrier . Will not use again !

Haven't been to Beijing for a long while. Went and got a carry out, 17/7/16, (chicken maryland, sweet & sour chicken and rice/chips/sauce) for the family. Was so disappointed. Chicken maryland was burnt with 2 banana fritters and nothing else, chips were cold as was the box of rice/chips/sauce .Couldn't be bothered to take the whole lot back but the bin had a feast! Sorry won't be back!!

Decent food got to admit, service and delivery is much to be desired. There are many better places on the area avoid like the plague

Terrible. Comida comida para llevar en 19.40 y pidió se informó que llegaría en menos de una hora. Llamado en 21.05 y fue aconsejado a nuestro pedido para la entrega. Llamado de nuevo a 21,25 y me dijeron que estaba en camino. Allí era obvio...

Ordered through just eat. Waited 1 and a half hours by this time everyone was starving. Phones was told it would be with us in 5 mins. 20 mins later delivery guy appeared. Refused to pay full amount especially after horrendous customer service and wait. Delivery guy said he would ring take away and sort it out. He then drove off!!! No explanation nothing!!! Won't ever ever use this place ever again. You would be quicker going to China to get a munch!!

Ordered a takeaway. They got it a bit wrong I phoned to mention this there was no issue they would sort it. Then recieved a call to say give the chicken wings back to the driver. However at this stage enough time had gone by after my initial call for me to have eaten them. Now they could not have resold these or rehet them the only thing that could have been done legally was bin them. So after getting a phone call from the owner I thought to ask should I be concerned should I get the Environmental Health involved. This question was answered by the owner telling me that he was going to call the police as I was stopping business getting through on the phone(which they had used twice to phone me) and that I was barred and my number would be blacklisted. I had already told him that due to my concerns I would not be using them again. Shame was a decent Chinese obviously starting to penny pinch to the detriment of the public health and this is TOTALLY ILLEGAL so best of luck

Don't get me wrong, the food is lovely, that's why we keep using this place. But they have a habit of getting your order wrong or missing parts of it. And they don't rush to remedy their mistake either. They really need to get their act together but I've had enough and will go elsewhere from now on.

If you are looking for taste then this is the place to go, prices are a little high however dining here would be because of the flavours.Delivery service is usually slow so best to pop along and collect. There is a little car park round the back as unfortunately a local parks their huge van at the front which is not very helpful.

Order was wrong and left my little one excited about a treat without anything to eat. Shame tried to phone to sort and line busy.

In my opinion the best Chinese take away in Ayr, mainly because it is consistently good (including weekends unlike some others), They have good deals during the week, but terrible for parking outside

How about you stop quoting unrealistic delivery times. We would all be less angry if you told the truth about possible 1 hr 30 - 2 hr delivery times. Instead of the 45 mins you quote. Even at that the food is half warm when it arrives

The food was delicious, my only complaint is that the delivery was almost 45 minutes past the predicted delivery time, though when I called up it was said that the restaurant was busy, which I can appreciate.

Delivery was almost an hour late and food was missing and they refused to deliver it so we had to go pick it up. So paid delivery charge for nothing. Unpleasant

Original order came on time but they forgot the 3 drinks, phoned up and was told 10 mins, 20mins latter still nothing so I phoned back up and the woman on the phone was extremely rude and hung up on me! the drinks eventually came minus one can. 35 mins late. If your really hungry and want your carry out on the time it says on the justeat website don't count on this lot bringing on time..
