Just received this from Ayr Eats. Probably the worse takeaway I have had in years. Sauce was great but the chicken was terrible. Big and very chewy certainly not good. Peshwari nan was an apology. No stuffing of coconut it just has something spread along the top. Waste of money..

Food was amazing plus customer service.

Ordered pizza & chips which took almost 2 hours to arrive, phoned to see where the delivery was to be told it was on its way. Waited another 20 minutes and then phoned back as nothing had came. The person we spoke with on the phone was very blunt, didn’t let me speak and offered no apology for the delay.

Went to spice cube got chicken pakora and it was shocking it made me sick the chips were ice cold the pakora wasn’t cooked do not go spice cube I have complained to the manager he said he doesn’t speak English to me and needs to go even tho when I went in he was the one in the shop speaking normal English please avoid DO NOT GO SPICE CUBE

Just had a spice cube special kebab, never again!!! The beef tasted sour, the chicken tasted like cheese and the salad tasted of TCP. Absolutely disgusting will never eat here again. The chilled cabinet where the meat and salads were kept were spilling into each other. There was cooked chicken sitting on top of wot looked like a raw burger. C'mon spice cube get ur act together. Wish i had read the reviews before i went.

Having ordered well in advance for my food delivery it was 20mins late and I phoned to check in with the understanding of the football and expected demand to be told it's out for delivery and will be 10mins. 65mins later I called back to get the most arrogant and aggressive man ever saying I lied about time scale while I can hear him shouting at the the delivery driver on when he will arrive to me. He then gave me option to stop delivering the food after waiting nearly 3 hrs and hung up on me. Never again will I order from this place and in retail the customer is what matters and looking forward to the refund as promised for failing to deliver warm food as agreed before hanging up

We have waited 45 minutes after being told our delivery was on route. The staff member attitude on the phone when we called for an update was unacceptable. We have ordered many times over the years. There is no excuse for arrogant and unacceptable customer service. You must be transparent. If you cannot fulfill your delivery promises, my advice is you need to be honest

I came in to see you this evening following a very disappointing and below satisfactory order that was delivered via Just Eat. An inedible, dry and overcooked chicken pakora and more. It is very clear that you were not interested in my complaint and had no tolerance to our feedback or protestation over the lack of quality and service. You were very defensive and extremely argumentative and dismissive of my comments. It’s quite sad and very clear that you took it as a personal attack and refused to accept the negative feedback. Sadly, you let down your paying customer tonight. Further, as a customer who has given you 10 years or so custom that’s quite disappointing to accept. Your manner was aggressive, abrupt and non negotiatory. That’s a shame. What was sent out of your kitchen tonight was a 2/10 standard of food and if I were you, I’d be striving to improve the quality of my service. And say the very least , I’d be working on my customer relations. I really hope you reflect on this and improve your customer service and that the quality of your goods reflect both in person and on the app. Your aggressive demeanor will continue to chip a hole in the integrity of your small business.

Just had one of the best curries on recommedation from the owner. Delicious. Canny believe im saying that causue some of the reviews are dodgy. I suppose if its chips and cheese you want then i cannot comment. The curries however are excellent. Lamb Karahi tonight. All gone in my belly. One contented man ready now for the land of nod

Order late, food cold, found metal in burger. Called them and said would give us the order again when ready. Called tonight and told no replacement food or compensation because I left a bad review!! Very abrupt male on phone.. we ordered from them most weeks and will never order again!! And will make sure I tell people I know not to use them again.. terrible customer service

Ordered chips cheese and donner meet for child. They smothered it in sweet chilli sauce so kid wouldnt eat it neither could i. No compansation offered. Never again will i use.

I usually order from here as it’s one of the only nearby places open past 12 and most of the time the food is great but i ordered chips and cheese a couple weeks ago and the cheese tasted… off, i just assumed it was fine and the next day i ended up with a dodgey stomach all day, safe to say that cheese was out of date. thought it might just be a one off so i made the mistake of getting chips and cheese from there again a couple weeks later and i found a bit of mould on top of the cheese. don’t think i’ll order from here again.

Horrible Indian got a korma and it was so sweet felt like I was drinking syrup they also forgot my rice how do you forget the rice with a curry the nan bread was also like a brink and took an hour and 10 minutes don’t order from this place

Food was awful had PLASTIC in my chips and cheese plus one never came and wasn’t refunded for it not only that last time when I phoned up to ask about something on the menu they were extremely rude talking about me thinking I couldn’t hear

Been using since they opened,many years ago,used to be really good,now they have adopted a no care attitude. We always order the same meal,nearly every time it’s made differently,last night we called to complain again,told to go somewhere else,that’s loyalty for you.

Hands down the worst Indian I have ever had in my life and I have had many. The Pasanda tasted like it was cooked in hienz tomato soup, the lamb tasted like it was stewed out of a can, the onion Bhajis were as dry as hell. Pilau rice was orange with no flavour. Korma chicken looked like cubes of processed nastiness. Will be surprised if my body does nt reject it within a few hours. Honestly just don’t do it. Dog has a good feast however so worthy of one star.

Food was nice enough, delivery only took 30 mins which was sooner than estimate. Part of our order was missing though, called them & it took a further 30 mins for chips to be delivered… this is a bit ridiculous as everything else was finished by then. This has happened once previously with this place so will be avoiding from now on. It’s not difficult to check off all items in an order prior to handing to your driver!!!

Came to Prestwick for a wedding had the misfortune of coming in here served by 2 staff who looked like they’d rather be anywhere else than there never had 2 chicken shish kebabs cooked on a tray in the pizza before oven looked and tasted like pigs swill straight in the bin

To get fast food delivery means hot to eat.., shame our order was cold again and need to reheat in oven. Just not the same 😔. Please look into how many orders yous send out on delivery at one time

We had the garlic chicken Tikka with garlic Nan.Comes with rice , sauce and salad.Large mixed kabab . We picked it up it was warm and good portion size .Only one complaint the lamb was a bit over done in the kabab.Apart from this everything was very tasty.Sauce was lovey and the salad was fresh . Lady who took our order over the phone could not have been any nicer .Iwould order again from this shop . ❤️🫶❤️

Overall fantastic food, I stay a wee while away from the shop, so sometimes it didn't taste the right way, but I have aslo received food direct from the shop so I know its only to do with travel, good food, the right prices nice staff, I have now moved on to trying new things, I was only with them as a new customer for about 1 to 2 years, overall good company Takecare B.

Order dinner tonight, 1 item on the order was wrong and 1 item was missing after waiting an hour and 40mins for it. After phoning I was told they would send out the items. We waited for another 45mins and when I phoned to chase it up I was told my food was ready but they were waiting on a driver to bring it out. My family had finished their dinner and I didn't want to eat myself so told them to cancel and refund the wrong and missing item to which I waited over 2hours to receive back after 2 attempts to refund the correct amount. The food that was delivered at eaten was absolutely disgusting, chips are beyond under cooked and all food was cold when it arrived. I will definitely never be ordering for here again.

Disappointed with service, half of order arrived two hours before requested time. When we called about it, never apologized and rest of food delivered late. Food itself way below average, shame as used to be good.

Used too get regular from here . Usually really good .but this is the 10th hour in a row I've been sat on the toilet .thanks for the food poisoning.

Found this place last night, first impressions were good, lovely friendly staff, ordered my food and was cooked quite quickly even though they were busy. The chicken tikka is so nice, very tasty and the kebabs were loaded, good value for money, will definitely visit here again.

Ordered 4 meals, got 3. Receipt was for 4, dont know they decided to only give us 3. Asked for refund, they agreed to refund cost of 1 curry (but not the rice? What were we meant to do with just rice?). Didn't matter because no refund actually happened. Lesson learned, never go back there again.

To the disgruntled employee that disappointed his father for not becoming a doctor. I know I was wrong, I just couldn't make my mind up, I truly should have ordered my food faster and without confusion, especially since I was the only customer in the shop. Came on to check opening times and seen reviews. Always had good curry the garlic chilli chicken is very good and their large pizzas are always amazing ! Usually we pick up and not delivery but can’t fault it and a very good curry , i can’t say Iv ever had any issues.

remember i ordered here ages ago and was good then they changed something up to make it horrible, after 3 years decided to give them ago again and first thing that happens is they didnt even give me the correct items

We went there twice and thought we were being over charged, each time the total came to something different. We didn’t question it or think anything of it, it’s an easy mistake to make. We went a third time and it was now obvious they were trying to charge us more, presumably thinking we were drunk or wouldn’t notice. Considering the two other prior visits it seems it’s their standard practice that they think they can get away with. I called out the discrepancy and they stated their prices had gone up, however they hadn’t updated their price board as it was too expensive to do so. (Although every other take-away seems to cope with making amendments fine, even if just with paper overlays.) This didn’t explain the prior price inconsistencies either. We asked if we were expected to guess the prices, but they said their printed handout menus behind us had the new prices which we’d have to pay. We politely checked that, only to find that was also matching the main price board showing the cheaper price, and not what he was trying to charge us. It seemed like it turned out to be an outright lie to try to cover their initial attempt to con us, and they assumed we’d not check. They got annoyed that we even looked. When we then asked to just pay the advertised prices, as is the law, we were told no, we had to pay this higher price. They then got a little aggressive, presumably as we had caught them out, and it felt like they were threatening us to pay the extra. We refused, and they made us leave. I don’t think I’ve ever had such rude service anywhere. We then went to another similar takeaway across the road to the right, and got some better food there. (Their prices had recently changed, as happens, but you could tell by the amendments to their board!)

Have ordered from Spice Cube before and have found the food to be good. This time it was not. Arrived lukewarm. My chicken tikka nachos consisted of tortilla chips with cheese, some chicken tikka slices and sliced jalapeños. There was no sauce of any sort and overall it was dry.

Will accept order then just not deliver it without telling you.

Usually get a good meal from the spice cube but not today. Burnt stale Naan and chicken pakora was dry and tasteless. Main dish was fine but overall very underwhelmed. Will take a break and go elsewhere

How can you rate something that never arrived !!! By the looks of the reviews it was better it didn't. Pick your game up spice cube, we were visitors to your town. You let your town down.

King donner kebab, large chicken kebab onion rings and a portion of chips ordered. Both kebabs were thrown in the bin with one mouthful out of each (tasted terrible), onion rings and chips were fantastic tho.

Delivery was earlier than expected but the food was awful. Pizza & chips tasted stale and cold. This our second order as we thought we would give it a second chance as we weren't impressed with our first order, but we won't be ordering again.

The food was excellent and far earlier than expected. King chicken tikka kebab was superb. And the dinner we ordered was grease free and devoured. Definitely order again

Second order in a row that’s been wrong. Wanted meat feast pizza with extra dinner meat and extra tikka chicken got neither. So yet again I’ve paid extra for something and not got it.

So relieved the message to say food was leaving the store at 2227 when I called the store at 2300 was told it was just leaving the store. And asked if I just wanted to cancel instead of apologising or anything very rude approach. If I wasn't as hungry since now I have waited nearly 2 hours for food I would of just cancelled it. Yet to actually receive it to comment on the quality of food...

That’s twice I’ve gave spice cube a chance and never again I ordered double donner meat on one pizza your lucky if there was 3 small pieces of donner on it there was no Donnie meat on the other pizza at all and there had been red onion put on the spicy chicken pizza order is always wrong it’s a joke £20 for 2 small pizzas that are nowhere near what we ordered

First time got wrong thing deliverers , it didn’t get touched , called up to get the right order delivered , which we did in a good whole , portion size was ridiculously smaller compared to the previous box we sent back alltogether with the driver . Regular users of here and usually good but this was the worst meal we have ever had, the pizza was meant to have spicy chicken added and wasn’t on it, and tasted like the dough wasn’t cooked. The chapati was obviously burnt and had the burnt bits picked off and the poppadoms tasted stale. The chips and cheese were good though

Never experienced such aggressive customer service. After years off being a loyal customer and ordering the same set meal was treated like durt when I questioned why food was missed from our order. I can see why they have been receiving 1 star reviews. I will never be back and would advice everyone else to do the same!
