Lovely old pub, with a warm welcome

The polite young man was very helpful, I believe he deserves a raise due to his dedication to his job , you can tell he is a hard worker as he was fast and efficient. He has been the best worker I have ever seen at a chippy.

Hot Dawgs were wonderful, they were juicy, just the correct amount of onion and a delicious bun. I will definitely order again. I haven’t had a Dawg in many years, this was the right choice. Thank you. I could not find option for mustard or ketchup but have these at home.

Authentic and handmade to order sushi, lovingly made. Don't think I've ever been served by kids before lol, I'm sure they'll grow up to be great sushi chefs too if they want to! Right on

I had a pick up and it wasn't available and that was fine! But it was at that point that the manager stepped up and sorted out the situation! She just totally stepped up without me having to say or do anything. Thank you so much your amazing customer service and keeping me being disappointed.

My best friends wedding has been held here. Rooms were clean and the staff were amazing

Visited with our kids (5&3) and was so surprised with what we found. Kids did a chocolate workshop whilst we had a coffee. The indoor soft play and outdoor playground are a welcome addition. Definitely would recommend if you’re in the area.

Okay food good service but dog friendly area was very small and only had stools to sit on.

Food is sort of okay if you like fry rubbish price's are a rip off I definitely won't be buying from there again

Been here a few times and never been disappointed, except this time. My wife had battered haddock which was uneatable ; it was obviously a piece of frozen haddock that came out of a box and it tasted terrible( I had a taste and had to spit it out). On the positive side, the staff were pleasant and attentive; the surroundings were nice and comfortable to be in and my meal was very good, also good value.

Me and my husband just been in for lunch. Macaroni ,lasagne, cheesecake and roulade aboustley beautiful. Highly recommend will be making this our local eating place. Spotless beautiful decor and amazing staff. Highly Recommend. June Mackay
