Greens Sports Bar in Dumfries & Galloway

Quiet on Friday night when the football was on the television, but the Guinness was flowing! Look at my other reviews to see where I've been!

Superb bar for darts and pool. Staff were very good too.

Good for an afternoon, evening party

Greens used to be a great bar, the current proprietors have not got a clue, their customer service is terrible. Toilets are not clean & thankfully they no longer serve food. There are cheaper & better bars in Dumfries where you can get a good pint.

Great pub 4 pool tables and a couple dart boards what more could you ask for

Isn’t the same as it was before lockdown, dead on a Saturday night which just feels odd. Additions of food menu and leather sofas are great but it’s not as popular as it once was which is a real shame

Absolutely fantastic, staff friendly, great food, me and Jess highly recommend the WOO WOO cocktail, loved the tea cups and the penguin tea pot. Keep up the excellent good service xxx

No banter, no atmosphere any more , don’t stay open till advertised times so is it open or not? Don’t feel welcome anymore

Nice but very loud music so I had to put on meatloaf

We were staying in Dumfries for a long weekend, wanted to watch the Six Nations Rugby, chose to go to the Green Sports Bar,we were not disappointed, a large place with good seating and a few tv screens, also pool & darts. Really good atmosphere, we were made to feel very welcome by the locals, one of them even bought us some food from the chip shop next door. Stayed for the afternoon to watch 2 rugby matches before moving on. Would definitely return if we're in the area again.

A very large establishment with a beer garden, sports room, a lounge and bar. We will go back again on our next visit !!

Good selection of beers, plenty seating, large TVs showing sports and pool tables and darts at the bottom

Liverpool bar unfortunately, but very welcoming

Normally have a great night at Greens with Live Music and pool but unfortunately was seen out tonight by an angry, sweary owner that we had overstayed our welcome, despite the significant money we had spent. I respect that the owners want to get to their beds but this was extreme and unwarranted tonight. I would hesitate to return.

Popular watering hole with jukebox, pool tables and fruit machines. Los of dark wood parking so it is quite dark, but it has a good atmosphere.

No bad at all a good meeting place before hitting town, one of the better pubs in Dumfries.

Great bar, bit pricey but around great atmosphere and great staff. Also not as green as the name suggests.

Great. Loved by dumfresians and those not from around here alike. Can bring your own food and dine in and drink.
