This is a really good restaurant. Polite, regular service and the food was delicious, with interesting specials and delicate flavourings. Recommend the sushi and the tofu ramen. Will definitely go back. Advise you book as, unsurprisingly, they are popular.
Great place to meet up !
All had breakfast rolls or light lunch and ice creams / sundaes. Plenty of choice and a good price. The play park was perfect for the kids. Definitely be back.
Always assured of a great welcome from a young staff. Very hard working and a smile always. Food great and great coffee. Had bacon roll - bacon extremely crispy which is lovely.
Great food and service but the tv was on along with music in the background which did not make for a great ambience. For a romantic evening go somewhere else
Nice place to eat, visitor centre but well set out. Lunch was nice & pet friendly. Free parking outside. Staff gave Misty bones to eat whilst we had our lunch.
Visited Castle Douglas last week and had lunch at the Scottish Pantry.
Our soup and sandwiches were very pleasant and the soup was piping hot.
Coffee and cake to finish off.
The prices were very reasonable and I would happily recommend it.

Popped in on a Saturday night, pretty busy but still got served quickly. Really good vibe, decent tunes from DJ. Ended up staying longer than planned, great night
Gorgeous scenery from cafe.
Dog friendly
Great lunch menu & cakes
The two young women serving today were quite grumpy... other great reviews on here for friendly service, maybe we caught them
On a bad day.
Food & drinks were great
Friendly, relaxed, flexible and fun. Nick was a brilliant teacher and good company. Took Mother for some quality time together and she was immediately put at ease and we both had a lovely time. Will definitely go again. If you want quality experiences with friends and family AND you want to learn some great life skills to boot then book your place!
Excellent as ever. Highly recommended place to eat in the lovely village of Moniaive. Great selection of Italian food from an extensive menu. All food is freshly cooked.
Called with family on St Patrick's day there wasn't any atmosphere really. Thought perhaps some live music would be on,didn't have food so can't comment on that but drinks were quite expensive. Small bottle of prosecco was £10 the most I've ever paid for that! Hubby had pint of Guinness which was average. If you owned a dog it seemed very welcoming to them which was a nice touch.
Popped in again a couple of times last week for some additions to my lunch.
Staff great and cheery as always, pleased to see you, nothing is too much trouble.
There was a queue but they get through it really quick with efficient service, but still chatting with customers and being personal, asking how their day was, what they were doing and actually interested in the answers.
On shift those few days were Gordon, Devlin, Sadie, and Tracie.
They're always so friendly and polite and ask how my little boy is. Definitely a credit to your team.
I tried the Cornish pudding, which I'd never had before. Wish I'd tried it sooner. Was NOT disappointed, was absolutely lush! Might be a regular when I'm needing a sweet fix in the coming weeks.
Visited here Monday 23rd of September 2024. 6 of us had a brilliant meal and the staff are to be commended. Best pizza in a while. Hidden gem. Can’t wait to go back
