This was a small takeout only place. The pizza was good although they were not very accommodating for people with food allergies. I asked for a meat lovers pizza with no cheese on half and was told "we don't do that". They could make it with vegan or non dairy cheese (for $1 upcharge) but they could leave the cheese off? It just doesn't make sense. Anyway, good food and quick take out service.

This was a lovely wee stop en route to Gairloch and to be honest, not where we had originally planned to stop off. Forming part of the Lochcarron Golf Club but not quite located in the main part of the village, this was a no nonsense, comfortable café. We were greeted by a lovely waitress - she made my four year old son feel right at home and let him look after their ‘Baby Buddha’ ornament (Buddha’s are an obsession of his). She was proper helpful and without fuss, even done us takeaway food for my wife, who was babysitting in the motorhome. We ordered a few things but my Eggs & Avocado on Toast were done perfectly (runny Yolks / smooth Avocado). My Coffee was spot on and well needed after a long drive without any sort of stop off points. My son devoured his Scrambled Egg on Toast. The food was nothing out of this world but for me, it was just good home-cooking eaten at the exact right time! An added bonus of the location made this driving break even better - overlooking the Loch Carron inlet and miles of blue sky and greenery. I’d confidently say it falls into the hidden gem category of NC500 eateries - don’t be put off by the Golf Club pavilion facade!

Friendly, welcoming volunteers, and lovely home baking. There was a wide range of cakes, scones, traybakes, shortbread, etc, on offer - we were spoilt for choice. It's definitely worth a visit and a great way to support the local community.

Dropped in for a quick lunch on the way to Skye. We had the roasted red pepper and lentil soup, which was so full of flavour, and the cheese and haggis toastie. Friendly and efficient service, and would have been a great view down Loch Duich if it hadn't been pouring with rain and blowing a gale! We'll definitely drop in again

We had the best roast beef dinner, 6 of us all ordered roast beef and everyone loved it! Deserts were fantastic also (especially the lemon tart, bailey cheese cake and sticky toffee pudding). Staff were great, really friendly and accomodating, would definitely be back! Lovely atmosphere.

Whilst staying in Glenelg we took a trip on the Skye ferry and this place is set overlooking the ferry crossing on the Glenelg side. It serves great hand ground coffee and delicious cakes (including a coconut sponge which was brilliant. Also from the car park here you can sometimes see some of the area’s wildlife and we were lucky to see a pair of beautiful white tailed sea eagles. Well worth a visit.

On our holiday in Glenelg we popped into this cafe, which is popular with both locals and visitors. We only had coffee, but the food on offer looked very tasty. The owner was very friendly and helpful. There is ample parking nearby. Overall a nice place for a snack. Highly recommend.
