Fantastic bacon roll which I had a few mornings. Shame they do instant coffee which is letting them down a bit.

Just the best, juiciest bacon butty going with masses of thick, fresh bacon on a buttered roll with a steaming cuppa on the side. Just what was needed after the misty Bealach na Bà. Highly recommended. Cheers lads👍

Went here after a disappointing visit to the walled garden and had one of the best bacon rolls ever. This is now first choice for breakfast on my future visits

By far the best bacon sandwich in the world! After a cold night staying on the hills this is exactly what the doctor ordered!! This wasn't some cheap wet bacon sandwich, it was thick well cooked bacon inside a fresh white roll with melted butter! Just amazing... If you are ever doing the NC500 and passing by Applecross, this is a must visit before tackling the Bealach Na Ba.

Partner and I are in agreement that this was THE best bacon sandwhich we have ever eaten. Ingredients were all locally sourced and of the highest quality - soft baps and thick, well cooked bacon.. and NOT stingy with the portions at all! Would highly recommend to anyone passing through Applecross!

We had to break camp early due to midges. In our frenzy to escape the onslaught we took the turn off to applecross. Thank god we did. On our arrival we greeted by The Big Grill Society.they set us up for the day with tea/coffee & top notch bacon butties.

What a great sight to see these guys after a cold motorbike ride across Bealach na bar into Applecross. They served up one of the best bacon rolls I’ve ever had. Beautiful fresh roll and stacks of freshly cooked to order bacon. Two really friendly guys. Absolutely first class.

Stopped off at the big grill society for brekky after camping - WE WERE NOT DISAPPOINTED. NC 5 rashers!? exactly what it says on the tin, a bun which is absolutely rammed with some top quality bacon rashers!!! Jon and Aron were extremely friendly and even though they were supposed to shut at 10am they very kindly razzed up 9 portions for the team. Would highly recommend for anyone passing through Applecross in the early morning!!!

After a wet night wild camping, we ventured to the Big Grill Society to sample some much-needed bacon sarnies and some coffee. There were 9 of us wanting their signature NC5Rashers bacon sandwich, and although that meant 45 rasher of bacon on the grill, Jon and Aron were a well oiled machine! Great chat, great bacon, great location, great service! Cannot rave enough. Thanks boys, it was much appreciated!
