Links Cafe in Highland

Thomas and the team at Links are fantastic - food was fabulous - we tried the Cullen Skink and it was delicious. So was the Lasagne and the chicken dishes. Great value for money and definitely a 6 out of 5 score for us 👍 And the views are stunning too 👌

Great welcome from staff and other diners. I had haggis lasagne off the daily specials, absolutely delicious plus a blueberry dessert for afters. 4 of us, all had different choices, all equally satisfied. Staff very friendly, great service.

We stumbled across this cafe while staying in Gairloch for a couple of nights. My husband had wanted to have a game of golf and this cafe is within the small clubhouse though I believe run independently? We were made welcome as soon as we arrived and sat outside in the glorious sunshine with our dog , Eddie (dogs are also allowed inside) The soup, toastie and scones were all amazing! It was so good we managed an another visit before we left gairloch and can’t wait to go back!

This is most definitely the best café in all of Scotland. Me, my dad and my uncle had breakfast here last year, and I remember it as being the best food I ate on the trip. And not only is the food absolutely spectacular, but the hospitality of the people there was brilliant. We had a spectacular time, and we hope to drop by again if we ever come back to Scotland. Thanks to Links Café for making our trip better! :D

Welcomed by friendly staff to a cosy cafe at the golf club. Good choice on the menu. I had a delicious pea and leek soup and hubby enjoyed a panini. Plenty of cakes, scones, etc available too, but we only wanted a quick lunch before 9 holes of golf next door!

We arrived with a flat tyre in the pouring rain. Thomas offerd help immediately to change the tyre. He called a friend who is a car mechanic en we got fresh coffee. The full staff is very friendly and helpfull. In the evening we went back to drink a fine glas of beer and they gave us the adress of the tyres center in Dingwall to repair our tyre. Thomas and staff we are very grateful with your help, kindness and hospitality. Thanks to you all the Scots are in our hearts. Greetings from Holland

Casual and friendly spot at the Gairloch golf course by the scenic beach, and right off the main road into Gairloch. Informal, relaxed, and great service. Pizza oven wasn't working but we enjoyed haggis lasagna, scampi and chips, plus a delicious soup of the day. We ate inside but outdoor seating is also available. Open to all.

Incredible hospitality and good food! We arrived in the evening and although he was closing Thomas stayed open a little longer so we could have a drink for the night. Invited us to come back in the morning for a breakfast which he cooked up and even let us try their homemade Ice-cream that they’d perfected over the summer! Couldn’t recommend highly enough for a break on your NC500 route or even just a stop to the Bay. Thankyou again and all the best! Jamie, Matt, Luna and Riley

This is such a friendly cafe with a good choice of casual lunch foods and some mains. The makerel pate with oatcakes and salad was absolutely delicious. Aside from good food and good service you get wonderful views over the golf course and the sea. Outside tables are available as well as a very pleasant indoor space.

This cafe is a gem, staff are fabulous nothing is a problem for them, varied menu have eaten here twice. Mouthwatering Gingerbread today, and our breakfast was excellent 👌 Definitely worth a visit, see you next year 😀

I decided to try the Links as an alternative to the places I normally eat. there is a good menue with everything you could hope for from snacks to a full main meal. I ordered a cheese and red onion toastie. This arrived quickly and was accompanied by an excellent salad and loads of crisps. way exceeded my expectations. Add a coffee and the bill came to £10, excellent value for the standard of what was provided.

Lovely cafe overlooking the golf course and beach. We only stopped for a coffee and cake, but everyone was so friendly, our dogs were made very welcome and given a drink and a treat! Perfect to sit outside but equally welcome in the clubhouse. We'll go back to have a proper lunch!

Cafe, bar & clubhouse attached to Gairloch golf links welcomes everybody - golfers, walkers, sightseers, families. Excellent for lunch, tea & cakes, etc. Chef & staff very friendly. Portions are generous and delicious. Chef's homemade ice cream tasted amazing!! All with a lovely view over the links and the sea.

Visited with a view to having a few drinks and a bite to eat whilst watching the football on TV. Fantastic hospitality, great food and drinks and I would not hesitate to recommend this place to anyone visiting Gairloch. I will definitely be returning next time I’m in the area.

Very friendly staff and excellent food. Our dog got a fabulous welcome with treats and a water bowl before our order even taken! The portion sizes are very large and cooked fresh. Will definitely return.

The most unpretentious golf club cafe I’ve ever experienced; the staff of the coffeehouse is super friendly and the food is home cooked and incredibly tasty; a perfect good place to hang out even if you don’t play golf (which I don’t)
