Your restaurant came highly recommended and the food and wine was absolutely superb. Unfortunately this is where the great experience ended as we have never been made to feel so uncomfortable in a restaurant by the people serving us, to the point that we couldn't wait to pay the bill and leave! We were the first table in the evening at 5pm and were seated right by the bar but we struggled to get eye contact with the staff who were either chatting behind the bar or staring into space. At no point did they ask us if everything was ok or if we wanted another drink. We tried to engage them in some chatter when they served us but to no avail. I don't know if in someway we offended them but we really could not work out what we had done wrong to be treated this way. Unfortunately we will not be returning, which is a shame as the food is excellent. Fortunately our evening was not completely spoiled as a visit to the local community centre in Nairn found us invited to a Ceilidh and a very warm welcome and fun evening.

Lovely cosy little cafe, situated in the railway building on platform 1. Nice atmosphere, friendly locals and the owner is very knowledgeable and helpful with local information. A lovely lady made me a buttered baked potato with coronation chicken from a varied menu for under a fiver...great value. Nice stop to fill in time when waiting for the train, and round off a trip to the beautiful, welcoming and characterful Nairn. Both sit-in and takeaway are available. Thankyou, recommend to all for a taste of Highland hospitality.

We read about this cafe (somewhere) and thought it warranted a visit. How right we were. The weather was fine so we were able to sit outdoors to enjoy our frankfurters and fine German lager. The meal was excellent, the lager even better and the service was perfect. Needless to say, we were more than pleased with the whole experience. The menu might be slightly limited but only because the items on offer are so well prepared that less is more. And the service was attentive without being overbearing. A great place for 2 ex-Canadians to take a break from the streets of Nairn. If you're in the area make sure you find time to visit.

If I lived in Nairn, this would be my go-to café every day. The freshly made food is extremely tasty and the selection is extensive. The naturally endearing charisma of the owner, and her staff, add an extra satisfying portion of decadent spice. High streets everywhere need a place like this..

We had an excellent lunch at Ozzy’s. It’s a stylish restaurant enhanced by a wood burner stove on a cold November day. We enjoyed scallops and haggis starters followed by sea bass, seafood linguini and Kurdish Lamb for main courses. All were very well cooked and at around £8 for starters and £16 for mains felt like fair value for lunch. I did notice that the dinner prices on mains increase by £10 - £15. Wine by the glass options weren’t great and quite expensive. Service was excellent - friendly and attentive. Would recommend for a tasty well cooked lunch in Nairn

This was a lovely experience, the food was not ' swimming in grease' as i saw from another review, but it was great to see that the more recent reviews have been validated. We went here for my birthday at the end of october and honestly everything was really lovely . the service was great they were so friendly from the getgo, the charcuterie board we had for starter was very filling and diverse just wish they would have told us what the cheeses were ( i think the brie was from tain though it was familair) but thats a minor niggle that we had no info. the main courses were fab the skin on chips were AMAZING , and its a dog friendly place which we loved , we dont have dogs but we did get to pet some which made our day !

My wife and I visited this cafe for lunch. I had Cullen Skink then a roll on Stornaway Black pudding/fried egg. And a can of Irn Bru. My wife had a bacon roll, then a fruit scone, with a Latte. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was great. The guys were very friendly, prices were reasonable. I would highly recommend this cafe. 👍👍

Ordered dinner at the cafe garden, one glass of wine, one bottle of beer, and 2 lasagna dinners. We waited over half an hour and eventually had to go and ask as to where our order was, guess what they forgot!.... It then appeared with one utensil, a fork! I had to ask for knives and napkins. The mince of of dubious quality. We were told the salad was coming, so just started a little of the lasagna as we were hungry, to find it luke warm 😡 the portion size was very meager and when the salad arrived, we were both both presented with a plate of lettuce leaves, just theown on a plate with what seemed like a splash of vinegar! We paid £48 for what could only be described as a bad '70s school dinner! Very disappointed given the beautiful, tranquil location. We expected vastly better quality and portion size for our money. We felt like we were robbeda We would most certainly not recommend this place for food.

This used to be a great wee place. It's sadly gone downhill. Told we had to wait, which was no issue, but when we got to our table, we had to another 10mins, only to be told they were only taking drinks orders. Ordered a coffee and a soft drink, and it arrived and was drunk before the food order was taken 15mins later!! It's tasty food, but the portions are small, and it's expensive for what you get. My hubby stood at the till for 10mins waiting to pay. Staff were coming and going, and not one apologised for the delay. It used to have a lovely atmosphere with the staff being chatty and helpful. All that is gone, and we are sad to say that we won't return in a hurry. Such a shame.
