Wasn't amazing. Had a takeaway from here a year ago and quality seems to have dropped somewhat. Very quick delivery which was good. I had Achari which was billed as very hot, it was unbelievably mild, I think the Keema Rice had more heat than the curry. Naans were good but the wifes CT Masala was pretty bland compared to usual back home. Will try elsewhere next time we're up here.

The new owners are fantastic people! In a bit of a complicated situation, we got support, kindness, and a positive vibe. Everything a tired traveler needs. Thank you, Jennifer and Simon ( I hope I got the names correct) for the warm welcome! All the best in the new adventure. There is still some mess with booking.com, so double check if the owner is responding before booking there.

We decided to eat a light meal at the Muthu Newton Hotel as we had traveled all night to get here. The Chaplin theme of the restaurant is really pleasant. Also, the staff was delightful. Since neither of us were really hungry, we decided to go with the soup of the day which was a Sweet Potato & Coconut Bisque. It was served with a warm roll and butter. The portion was the perfect size, and it was delicious. We decided to splurge and have dessert. I had the brownie with cream, and my friend had the sticky toffee pudding. They were both good, but the sticky toffee pudding was over the top. Really excellent. Prices were very reasonable as well.

I've been to this place several times and I've never been dissappointed. Food is always amazing, fairly priced and service is friendly.

We didn't order a cold chip dinner but that's exactly what we got. Not even my kids enjoyed it. Binned it. Need to massively improve your kitchen skills and provide hot food. How long do you leave your stuff hanging around in paper bags and cartons? Why not just bag things straight out the oven? You're just wasting food, money and time.

Unquestionably the worst dining experience of my life. Irrespective of the 90-minute wait for our food (there were 4 other tables - not busy on a Wednesday night in November) or the missing dish where we were inexplicably told by the waitress “I wondered where that was” - the “naan” was a tasteless tortilla chip (perhaps the first time the chef has made this?), the rice was hard as a rock and cold, and the sea bass was completely hammered. The curry tasted of salsa mixed with turmeric. The chips were fine. Other dinners around us had the exact same experience. I cannot emphasize this enough, eat before you get to this hotel.

Real Pizza Nairn is hands down the best takeaway pizza in the area. The pizzas are consistently fresh, packed with flavour, and made with real care. The crust is spot-on — crispy, light, and delicious. Service is always friendly and efficient, and you can tell they take real pride in what they do. If you're looking for top-quality pizza in Nairn, this is the place to go!
