Lucky House in Highland

This food was absolutely horrific. Never ever order from here. We asked to return the food so we could claim a refund and they refused to give us a full refund. The staff were unbelievably rude. This is a horrible place and you should stay well clear. I will continue to post reviews and feedback on how awful this was until I receive my refund.

I moved to Nairn about 6 months ago and i have been getting my chinese takeaway from Mr Tans 👎 or Thai Cottage 👍 then i went to Lucky House, what a find - chilli chicken balls and chilli chips i could eat every day. I spent £53.00 and every penny was well spent. This will be my new takeaway now 👍👍👍

Ordered online and told it would be 20mins. Turned up early and food was ready. Very tasty food and very generous portions including free prawn crackers. It was also not expensive. A great find and would definitely use again. 👍

Very plain. Nothing special ribs were horrible I only.had one and had to bin it chow mein had no flavour chips looked and tasted very old I won't be ordering again. Unfortunately just wasted £25

Disgusting food.. Absolutely vile.. Cold bland, the bottle of coke was the best part and even that was red hot and flat

We always order from here and each time the food has arrived hot, on time or early and has always been very good.

I have thrown away most of the food, it was awful. The fried rice was like rice pudding with lumps of fatty meat, the salt and pepper chips were like wood. Absolutely dire.

Delivery was on given time. Given time was 30 ins after requested time. No big deal, just being accurate Delivered with a smile, despite the rainy conditions - thankyou

Ordered chicken &green pepper & black bean sauce…extremely rich and salty,in fact hardly eatable! Too lazy to take it back so poured boiling water over it to thin it out! Even the noodles where too salty. Disappointed 🙁

Really nice food, delivered quickly.

Ordered takeaway to be delivered direct to the caravan on the Parkdean site. No problems with this or the order. All dishes ordered were hot when they arrived and all very tasty.

Food was very bland never order from their again thought we would try a different place for a change but we will be sticking to our usual Chinese place .

Ordered to be delivered to the caravan park. Fast delivery and food was amazing. They also called to make sure we had given the correct caravan number.

Sweet and sour chicken balls were so dry and tough we couldn't eat them, The chips were over done, but the rice and noodles were delicious.

Salty not flavourful for a roast pork in Thai and a beef in Thai dish says spicy for both just watery coconut sauce

Wow I placed a large order Sunday afternoon and my order arrived at 17:20 which I was extremely happy about. Every single dish was absolutely delicious and full of prawns and meat. Crispy pancake rolls, prawn crackers really crispy. My goodness the salt and pepper prawns were the best yet. Absolutely delicious hot what more can I say. Totally recommend and made everyone’s week THANK YOU 🙏 😊

The best Chinese I’ve had in a long while!

Earlier than expected food was nice tasty warm and fresh only issue steak was medium rare so had to fry it to make it well done my fault should of wrote on notes well done But would definitely order again.

The salt & pepper chicken is perfect, the chow mein was alright but the curry is too weak, it's like dish water.

The last few orders I have had have not been very good and very greasy and full of onion’s. I won’t be ordering again and will be trying somewhere else

Real disappointment all round tonight with this meal. Never ever had a issue with this Chinese before. Chips cold and soggy, crispy beef not crispy, prawn toast was 1/4 of the normal size and over all stone cold. Husbands birthday treat and felt so bad as it was vile, had to put in the oven and try salvage it but couldn’t so ended up at the chip shop instead. Guests obviously not impressed either especially when we’ve raved on about how good this place is. Food normally great here so such a shame especially on a special occasion.

Delivery good food not so good sausages was foul obviously cheap ones chips undercooked and chicken balls was hard and crusty.. others half said curry was nice but rice was hard so also under cooked

Chow mein wasn’t great, neither was the salt and pepper chicken, duck fried rice was nice tho and delivered early.

Ribs were about a fortnight old

I fell out with Chinese food couple years ago I've now realised what I've been missing first time in a long time I've enjoyed a takeaway will use these again

Ordered from this Chinese because it had good rev how wrong was I , had a set meal for two chicken and black bean , ribs , egg fried rice , spring rolls, the ribs had no meat on them the food was cold and it was later to top it off , contacted lucky house , wow the customer service was terrible and they didn’t give a dame, kept telling us to go through just eat . The stated on the app that they delivered my order on 19.25 not a chance we have CCTV and it was delivered 19.37 wouldn’t recommend this Chinese horrendous

Absolutely superb, will definitely use again!

We have been using Lucky house for a while now as our takeaway of choice and it never disappoints. The salt and pepper chips are great and so is the crispy shredded beef.

Excellent quality food first time order. Brilliant delivery.

As requested due to isolating the food was left on the doorstep after the delivery person knocked. Food was hot, tasty and plenty for the price. It was a nice surprise for the family after 7 boring days in isolation it’s the pick me up we needed.

We have just had a takeaway and it was nothing less than exceptional the food quality and flavour was the best we have haf recently

Could save some money on batter if they’re worried about their budget on ingredients!! Batter to calamari ratio is pretty poor. Ridiculously overcooked to the point of being chewy. Not ideal and quite expensive.

The food was really nice couldn't fault it . Delivery was bang on time. But the portions size was a bit smaller compared to other Chinese I've had and spent over £30 my plate would be over flowing but it wasn't and the starter for two was very disappointing only got 1 of everything. Also the English dish didn't come with chips so I was a good job I'd already ordered a extra bag otherwise one person would of just had chicken breast with gravy there was no veg with it either.

If you spent more than 15 quid you got free prawn crackers but we didn’t ..... the prawn toast so small !! And still only got 8 bits .... the chicken in black pepper sauce was reminiscent of frog spawn !! The salt and pepper chips was rock hard like they was three days old !! I won’t be ordering from here again !
