The best restaurants in Anderston / City Glasgow City Glasgow and Surrounding

Stopped in for a pint with my good lady yesterday afternoon and this place was lively with a DJ playing dance tunes and full of younger people but had a good atmosphere for a Saturday afternoon but found the young guy behind the bar a dour faced git with no people skills. My partner thought at first it was just us he being like that cos we were older but when a younger crowd came in I watched him waving his arms about looking annoyed at them also cos they were taking there time to pay him. I then went to the nxt bar up the road and the barman there was cracking jokes with me so know what bar I'll be visiting nxt time I'm down that part of the city.

Ambos platos estaban saturados de especias y tenían suficiente aceite flotante para atraer la atención de los Estados Unidos. El desequilibrio fue exagerado, pero no teníamos otra opción dada la limitada hora del almuerzo, así que comimos todo en un sufrimiento silencioso. Mi esófago y mi intestino sintieron el ardor de las especias mucho después. Igualmente malas fueron las paranthas, que eran paranthas congeladas de la marca 'shaana' compradas en la tienda que se calentaron y nos sirvieron. Inmediatamente los reconocimos haberlos tenido antes. Y tampoco eran de la mejor calidad. A mitad de la comida, notamos que no había señales del acompañamiento de yogur con el plato de parantha - garbanzos. La camarera se disculpó nuevamente y nos trajo una pequeña taza que contenía una cucharada de lo que parecían excrementos de paloma. Esta fue la 'Raitha'. Lo dejamos disgustado, concluimos una experiencia de comida miserable en un restaurante que tenía muchas esperanzas, dado el cambio en la administración. . . E izquierda. Podría hacer la comida para llevar Dosa nuevamente, ocasionalmente, pero de lo contrario, nunca volveré a comer aquí.

This place deserves a 5 star in every category. Fantastic South Indian restaurant in Glasgow! They offer an incredible variety of dosas and other delicious dishes that really hit the spot. The ambiance is warm and inviting, and the staff is super friendly. A must-visit if you’re in the mood for authentic dosa and an ice-cold Kingfisher beer!

Had been working in and around Glasgow all day, and was in the need for something to eat, but more something on the go. As I was near by, decided upon the Kent Chip Shop. Nice little place with all the usual stuff, so ordered a sausage supper, which was freshly prepared in no time. Maybe a tad on the pricey side, but all in all, filled a hole and was very tasty.

Overall great night, banter good, food better, best restaurant we've been to in Glasgow recently, Leithers, ciao.

So today I booked a table for a night out with my wife, albeit this is for November. But I just wanted to leave this review for the booking process. The booking was so easy to do online, confirmation emails sent. I then contacted through Facebook Messenger. Morgan quickly responded, and can I just say her customer service was nothing short of exceptional. First class service guys, and a special mention again to Morgan for here professionalism.
