Needed food after a gig at the hydro, midnight and this place came up on Uber eats. So glad I ordered, the halloumi and falafel wrap was so so good. Chips and cheese wer extra cheesy I wasn't a fan of the hummus it was a little bit tangy but still 5 stars for this place as the wrap was so good.

Everything was spotless in this store I was even in the back kitchen. They make the chicken kebab in-house I seen it with my own eyes

Chicken shawarma is brilliant and staff are friendly.

The sandwich was small and expensive, £6.99, but that is not all, there is much worse than the price.. I asked the worker to divide the sandwich into only two parts for my two children, and he told me that I had to pay an additional pound for the division!!.. However, the sandwich was full of oil. With a strong, stinky smell... I will never repeat this experience...

Honestly laughable. Waitress literally couldn't understand what we were trying to order, even when repeating it a few times. STILL ended up with the wrong order! Didn't include the can of coke. No fork or napkins provided. Can you please get someone.who understands English? Thought this would be common sense! Food itself extremely disappointing, lamb chunks (not shwarma) was very fatty and cold. Chips were also cold and had obviously been cooked earlier. Over priced garbage. You should be embarrassed of serving this type of food to the community! Wouldn't recommend and definetly won't return.

The shawarma is not good, the sandwich contains a lot of onions and garlic sauce, and the price is very expensive.

Proper tasty kebab, with home made bread that the kebabs are wrapped in. Excellent. I went for a chicken kebab box and the kebab was seasoned amazingly with a charcoal grill flavour. One thing I’d say is that something was very garlicky. Luckily I appreciate this!

Went here before a gig at the Garage. Honestly the best shawarma I had in the UK so far. Fresh ingredients that tasted and looked homemade, good presentation and the staff went above and beyond, offering a portion of chips and added tzatziki at no extra cost. Reasonably priced as well!

It was my first visit to Hajar restaurant, but I will never repeat it. I ordered 3 shawarma meals and asked the seller not to put vegetables with the chicken shawrma, but I was surprised when I received the order. He brought me 3 sandwiches, not meals, and put vegetables with the chicken shawarma and put ground chickpeas with the meat shawarma even though I asked him for tahini sauce. I was shocked and when I told him that I ordered a shawarma meal and not just a sandwich, he told me that I should say I want chips with it. You are not in Syria??? The worst shawarma experience in Britain

I like the kebabs, but last couple times we've ordered chips and cheese they were stone cold. I can only guess this is because the chips were sat in the tray cold, or at best lukewarm, and then had freezing cold cheese dumped on them. Staff need to think of ways to remedy this otherwise we, and surely others, won't return.

DO NOT GO HERE I REAPEAT IT WAS A MISTAKE FIR EVER TRYING TO EAT HERE. The customer service was terrible and they were rude and didn't put the forks and spoons we asked for they said we HAD to get it ourself in a rude manner and they also didn't have service for sit insides and their falafel was dryer that the Sahara dessert a and it was brander than water and I don't recommend to go here because the place was also dirty so all they are good for are just delivery's which might still be as terrible as the sit in.
