Farina Pizza in Glasgow City

The food was good, there was a little too much pepper in my friend's carbonara and the portions are very large, but otherwise the visit was quite good. Our waiter was very friendly and nice, he made the whole ambience nicer.

Arrived to a semi empty restaurant. Party of 10 so pretty large group to arrive. Waiter took out food orders first. Food arrived fairly quickly but patchy. Only got drinks served as we finished the meal. One waiter for whole restaurant and wasn’t managing. No apology for service or having to chase. After we arrived place got busy and other peoples order and drinks arrived before ours. Service spoilt meal.

Great pizza, awful pasta, dreadful service Pizzas were great, some say even better than Paesano, debatable, pasta was soggy and rubbery, the service was dreadful. The one staff member said it was because of lack of staff and resources (the owner didn't even note our reservation for 9 people), acknowledged his own substandard service and gave us dessert for free. Probably ok if you order only pizza and your group is not bigger than 3-4, otherwise the risk is of getting cold pizza.. a shame...

Just passing by and decided to try this place out ! Wish a kept walking Had creamy Cajun chicken pasta it was dry and the chicken was in strands like chuck ! And very bland the pizza was no better it was very wet in the middle , crust was nice and the chips on top of pizza weren’t great a cheap frying chip service was poor as they only had one person for whole restaurant poor kid was looking lost the whole evening but did his best sorry to say a won’t be back !

Absolutely loved our meal here on Friday night, a very chilled out vibe with some nice music playing, incredible to sit at the window and look across at Kelvingrove museum lit up in the dark, and the food was spectacular! My partner and I shared a Cajun chicken pasta and margarita pizza with a garlic dip, and both agree it was the best pizza and pasta we have ever eaten. So reasonably priced too. Will be back, and will be recommending to everyone!

Went here as a group of four and had the rigatoni salsiccia pasta and the three nazione pizza. While the pasta was quite enjoyable and very al dente, the fries on the pizza really did not do it for me. The atmosphere and service was very good and their portion sizes were great too.

Absolutely delicious sausage mushroom rigatoni. Great service and lovely staff too.

I ordered on uber eats a 2 for 1 offer on beef ragu one portion had one piece of beef in it and the other one had 2 pieces of beef I'd have been better ordering vegetarian ragu you can barely see the one piece of beef in the picture posted

It's an eat and go place;nothing fancy,lots of tables,nothing special one Red one White&one Rose.Its for young nosebag &go punters.Okay it you want a Pizza,but that's it.

They are not consistent with their food. Especially if you are ordering delivery. I used to love their pastas. Last few times the quality was not as good as before and when I complaint I didn’t get anywhere with them. They were extremely unhelpful

Pizza was very good. It did take a while to come considering the place was not busy at all.

Empezando por la comida, he comido una pizza carbonara la cual solo tenia pasta y queso sin ningún tipo de ingrediente más. Por este plato me cobraron 16 euros, una vergüenza. Por otro lado, el trato al cliente también fue desatroso ya que nos metieron prisa des del primer momento. Por último, al salir del restaurante no nos dijeron ni adiós.

It’s a shame because the pizza and pasta were actually nice. The wait for food was too long, our main came 45 minutes after we finished our starter. Half way through the pasta we found a hair in it, our garlic bread had been forgotten. The overall service wasn’t great, one table left after being sat for 15 minutes without a drinks order taken. We noticed 2 other tables who had been waiting a while before getting served. Very disappointed after waiting ages to try here.

Takeaway visit . Ordered one vegetarian and one pepperoni. Got home and discovered vegetarian pizza and a pizza with red and yellow peppers. Called to complain and was offered a fantastic ten percent discount on my next trip there - £1:40 off another pepperoni pizza which is probably equivalent to the topping of what I didn't receive this time.. great compensation for a disappointment and incorrect order..The pizza base was tasty and good quality. You'll get the discount equal to what we owe you for missed ingredients. Will be happy to share the experience with friends and see their opinion of the customer service.. what's your opinion?

The food was amazing, quite big portions and very filling. Serves was quick and not a long wait time. The only thing that could of improved was serves, it wasn't bad at all but a little hectic. Overall recommend definitely

This was probably a 2.5 stars but I've rounded up to 3. To start we ordered a burrata which wasn't really burrata, which should be creamy and almost liquid in parts, it was basically a lump of mozzarella, probably bufala, but definitely not burrata. We also ordered the cheese and garlic focaccia which was tasty but was not a focaccia as far as I know it, it actually looked like a standard pizza base with cheese and garlic on top. The actual pizza itself when it came was not bad. Unfortunately the service wasn't great, despite the place being less than half full on a Saturday evening in summer. The couple next to us waited a good ten minutes before they could pay for the bill, we learnt from their experience and went directly to the waiter to pay. I like the idea of Farina but unfortunately the execution was poor. Not having tried their pasta, I can't comment. But if it's pizza you're after, you'd be better off going to Sano down the road on Argyle St in Finnieston, or Paesano on Great Western Road.

Try the haggis bites with the peppercorn sauce. My god!

First time visiting but will definitely be back. Great service and food was amazing.

Came to farina’s for a date and the food was outstanding. The chef santae was very friendly and Sam our waiter gave top class service. Would recommend to anyone in Glasgow looking for good quality food and a nice relaxed meal.

Really nice food and friendly staff. My partner is a celiac and so it can be tricky to find somewhere nice but the gluten free pasta here was great.

Great place, this was service to the MAX. Handsome waiter gave us enough attention but not enough that he got annoying. Food came quickly and tasted great!

Mina was an excellent server, very kind and attentive! She even wing-manned me and gave my number to the bartender for me, ahha! The food was incredibly good, highly highly recommend. Also very reasonably priced!

I recently dined at Farina Pizza Pasta in Glasgow and it was exceptional. Our waiter, Max, provided excellent service, demonstrating vast knowledge of the menu. The food was authentic and delicious, reminding me of Italy with every bite. From the homemade pasta to the perfect pizzas, everything was superb. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making it a great spot for any occasion. I highly recommend Farina for a memorable Italian dining experience.

Entered the restaurant with my partner and 2 daughters it wasn’t busy. 3 other tables. Waited ages for simple food…. Pizza and pasta. Noticed 3 other tables who came in and ordered after us get served. Then a 4th table was the final straw. Left and told them I wasn’t paying for the drinks. Staff absolutely incompetent.

Yes:) This is finally the original pizza like in Italy! Gorgeous place, friendly staff, perfect location ( in front of Kelvingrove Museum. Even the Moretti on tap was fresh and tasty.

Very average Italian. There are far better pizza places and the bruschetta was essentially tomatoes on toast with a large slice of basil. Not great service either, as we waited a while for drinks. Not terrible but I'd expected much better.

One of the most disgusting carbonara I have ever (almost) eaten. Pastas were bathing in fat and melted butter. Completely uneatable. Will never order from these clowns again.

jem was a jem and max did the maximum, our meal did not include any cardamom, but Italian was just what we sought, and with the gnocchi portion my belly fought, for it was so tasty but oh so big, y’all could afford to half the size and still this establishment the people will dig FIVE STARS

Such yummy food!! We were up from London visiting friends, they treated us to Farina’s fab food, a gorgeous yummy treat. We will be back when we next visit!

Food was great and nice place to eat

Had an absolutely lovely evening at Farina a couple of weeks back. We ordered the vegetariana pizza and gnocchi sorrentina al forno, which were both so creamy and delicious! The focaccia was also to die for! Our server Max was extremely friendly and helpful, giving us great vegetarian recommendations, and suggesting to get the garlic and parsley dip with our focaccia, which was so good we had to get a refill. Definitely the best Italian food I’ve had in Glasgow, and the most lovely location in the heart of Finnieston opposite Kelvingrove art gallery. We can’t wait to come back to Farina as soon as possible to try the rest of your menu!

Was here on Saturday, pizza and pasta were both excellent. Sante and Antonio are both great, good to see proper Italian chefs in Glasgow. Highly recommend.

Really the place is good and the food is delicious, my partner ate well and she felt full with the carbonara (despite the high price of the dishes, the spaghetti was good), I ordered a pizza, but unlike her, I did not feel full, the pizza was quite expensive and very thin, I barely noticed that I ate something, in short, it is a good place to go to eat an evening as long as you have a deep pocket and a small stomach. Realmente el lugar es bueno y la comida es deliciosa, mi pareja comió bien y ella se sintió llena con la carbonara (a pesar del alto precio de los platos, los espaguetis eran buenos), yo pedí una pizza, pero a diferencia de ella, yo no me sentí lleno , la pizza era bastante cara y muy delgado, apenas me di cuenta de que comía algo, en resumen , es un buen sitio para ir a comer una tarde siempre y cuando tengas un bolsillo profundo y un estómago pequeño

Stumbled across this place before going to a concert, the waitress was so accommodating and gave great service. Food was amazing and all so tasty, the place was super clean and lovely decor!

Disappointed that the waitress over-charged us on our bill yesterday (16th April); instead of splitting the bill down the middle (as we'd asked), she'd just decided to round up without checking with us! Felt uneasy not being able to have a very basic level of trust for the staff.

Food was great (I had the gamberoni) and service was fab - a really warm welcome by Sarah who was very attentive and super-cheerful throughout our visit.

Facing Kelvingrove you will find, waiting for you for a pick me up or a meal. Italian good food with a lunchtime menu for £12.95 The service is good and customer care oriented. They also serve gelato and excellent Italian coffee, ristretto, macchiato, espresso, lattes and more specialities.

Good customer service, as pasta was too spicy so we were able to send it back without a problem. Nice views of the KelvinGrove. Has a lunch offer a starter and main for 12.99 ( runs from 12-4) . The pasta carbonara was made with guanciale, a bit too salty for my taste. The server vas very attentive and polite.

Food was fantastic lovely and fresh had pizza and pasta the prawn pasta is amazing then so are the pizzas. Staff couldn't do enough even gave is 4spoons for 1 ice cream.

We had visited previously when it was Baffo, the interior has since changed and the menu is now offering pasta. The restaurant is lacking warmth and ambience. The pizza was ok. Neapolitan style similar to a few other well known Glasgow pizzeria's and it didn't come close to the quality of their's. It wasn't the warmest either. The fusilli pasta dish was also lukewarm and resembled a student dish, not much in the way of flavour. The prices also seemed a bit on the high side in comparison to other similar eateries in Glasgow. Improvements needed.

Nice bright restaurant in a lovely position opposite the Kelvingrove museum. We really enjoyed the Frito Misto and the pizzas that we ordered. Marco, Isabelle and the team were very friendly and efficient.

A friend and I stopped to grab dinner. The calamari, pizza, ballini, and dessert were all excellent. The service was top notch which was an added bonus! Chef Santino and server Max were friendly and a laugh. (Totally good sports when I requested to "be surprised" with which dessert was ordered.) This Colombian-American fully recommends that you stop in. Do it.

This is not a well made pizza and priced at £10.45 is ridiculous. This is my 3rd visit here since they opened after new owners and it’s now my last.

Popped in here before a show at the Hydro. We got two pizzas and a pasta with a few drinks. Food was delicious. Our waiter was really friendly (Marco I think). Prices are reasonable. Definitely a top spot if you're in the area!

Both times we’ve been in it has been at an awkward time when tricky to find somewhere open/with space and they’ve been welcoming. The staff are all very friendly and accommodating. The first time we were really short on time and they got everything out quickly. The food has all been tasty and fresh and enjoyable. There’s a couple of dishes we had that weren’t perfect but still very good and would go back. The pan di stelle cheesecake is worth saving room for.

Over priced, wouldn’t recommend food was average at best.

I go in at 9:30pm and the staff tell me it’s closed despite it saying on google and on the website that it closes at 10pm. It is unprofessional of the restaurant to not update this information.

Decor was pleasant and seats were comfy with a good view of the Kelvingrove museum outside. Background music was a little odd at times. Servers were nice and food prep wasn't too long. Food options are very good and all sounded promising with some items that I hadn't heard of before which was refreshing. All the food was well presented and portion size was big, although this matched the higher prices. I think it would be smarter to have smaller portions for cheaper prices to encourage ordering a couple of items - I struggled to eat a starter and main, let alone any sides or dessert. Both my pasta and bread were undersalted which was very disappointing for an Italian restaurant. The cheesy sauce and added rosemary & salt on my dishes didn't do much to compensate the lack of flavouring of the actual pasta and bread - these need to have more salt added while cooking. When there are a number of other high-quality Italian options available in Glasgow, Farina needs to try a bit harder to stay viable as a competitive option. I'm willing to come back to try one of the more unusual dishes that caught my eye, hopefully by then I'll get to taste the flavours of Italy I've come to expect from authentic Italian restaurants.

Not impressed, the food was bland, flavour lacked depth… I ordered: Pappardelle with Beef Ragu Slow Cooked £16 I was hoping lots of flavour for something that has been slow cooked, what I got was disappointing, It was still edible but that’s all. The price doesn’t match the quality, I don’t mind paying for good food but this wasn’t up to my personal standard. Won’t be returning.

We ordered two delicious pizza's, i would say the best we have ever had in the UK, We have only ever had a pizza this tasty with quality ingredients like this in Italy. The staff are friendly and attentive and the restaurant is wonderful. If you live in Glasgow..... lucky you! a must place to eat out, in a great location, facing the Kelvingrove Art gallery and museum. We will be back soon to try one of your pasta dishes. Last minute decision to go here after we'd been at Kelvingrove Museum, as it's very handy. Restaurant wasn't busy due to being 5pm but was clean, bright and staff were lovely, smiley and welcoming. Pizzas were 'awesome' according to my 11 year old, who is something of an expert, and I have to agree. Great food brilliant service. Highly recommend.

Please, just go! I already have my favourite place for Italian pizza in Glasgow. But the 1st position had been taken over by Farina. Taste it for yourself, you won't be disappointed by the food, the wine and the friendly staff. I'll be back for sure!

Pizza was ok. Not bad, not great. Very expensive for what you get. £14 for a pizza and £6.50 a beer. Children's menu at £10 is one of the most expensive I've seen. No lunchtime menu so you pay the same on a Monday lunchtime as a Saturday night

I came in last week and wow I was blown away by the pizza and the pasta! The previous place was baffo pizza, but this was miles ahead better in my opinion, the service was also exceptional - even in a very busy environment we where attended to promptly and the food arrived quickly! The place has also got a complete new look that is more inviting, very lovely and modern looking. I would advice all the pizza and pasta lovers of Glasgow and the west end to get down and try! Exceptional!

In un ambiente informale ma molto curato viene servita una pizza eccezionale ! Con un gruppo di amici eravamo in giro per Glasgow per vedere la città e per puro caso ci siamo imbattuti in questo locale. Abbiamo consumato ottimo cibo "condito" dal proprietario italiano che ci ha fatto sentire a casa ! Anche il caffè vale un plauso. 10 e lode!

I was a regular customer at Baffo and hoped this would be a similar experience. Overall a decent pizza with good ingredients but the dough let it down - it’s too soft and chewy. Should be firm and on the crispy side. If you work on the dough you have a very good pizza lads.

Probably the best pizza/pasta I've had from an Italian in Glasgow. Definitely gives paesano/sugo a run for their money. Family owned business too with proper Italian roots along with a high level of experience in Italian dining. Top notch 10/10.

Noticed this place while driving past to go into the Museum today (Saturday ) and it looked nice and very inviting and bright inside.. so after visiting the museum we phoned over to the restaurant to book a table and so we just left our car at Museum and walked over… on entering the restaurant we were greeted by very friendly staff and it was lovely and warm inside.. there was myself and son and daughter in law and the two children and we all loved it and ate every single thing on our plate as it was that good … and the wine 🍷 was good also 😁 we would definitely recommend this place … Thank You 😊

We ordered a cabonara pasta and Nduja pizza. Great taste. The cabonara sauce was so cheesy and creamy, and the Pizza crust was chewy and smelt lovely. Thanks for the waiter’s suggestion to put some chilli oil on top of it, it really heightened the layers of flavours. Excellent service too! Worth to try!

This place used to be baffo. It's about 30% more expensive and not as tasty as baffo - one of the greatest pizza places of all time. The pasta looked pretty good although I never tried it (baffo pasta was no muy bueno). I miss baffo.
