Fantastic experience! If you are looking for real Italian food Sandro's is the right place! Very kind Italian owner and excellent food. Delicious Neapolitan pizza cooked in a wood oven. My father took a generous platter and my mother a generous plate of pasta cooked just right. And finally a real espresso coffee! If you are around Glasgow it is worth stopping to eat here!

A good restaurant and right in front of the art museum. We ate pasta and it was very good, plus Veronica was very friendly and also speaks Spanish!

Accidentally found this gem for lunch on my first day visiting Glasgow. The staff is incredibly kind, food is outstanding, and prices are very reasonable. After finishing our first pizza we immediately wanted another. We ended up ordering dessert instead which was also satisfying and delicious!

We went here on a whim, and I’m so glad we did. The food was authentic and so delicious. The owner was so genuine and we had a lovely conversation. We were able to get two pizzas for less than 25 pounds. I’ll definitely be returning.

My wife and I had pizza to take away on Friday and it was sensational. This spot is right on our doorstep and for the past couple of months the pizza has been getting better and better! 😋 HIGHLY recommend the Diavola and the Four Cheese!

I recently dined at this fantastic Italian restaurant, and I can’t recommend it enough! The food was absolutely delicious—every bite bursting with flavor. If you’re craving authentic pizza, this is hands-down the place to go; it’s as close to Italy as you’ll get. The staff was incredibly nice, making the experience even more enjoyable. A must-visit for anyone who loves great Italian cuisine!

Really awful experience on pretty much every level. The pizzas were chewy and oily, the server was passive aggressive, even the tapwater smelled really weird. I don't understand the positive reviews for this place. Don't be deceived by the nice location, go somewhere else.

Good,wine,ask for other than on menu,he has some better ones.Family atmosphere, family groups.The manager very hands on,he even found me Grappa to go with my coffee. Pizzas are very good.Its much better than last,restraunt,and no earbashing.Go for it.

I popped into Sandro’s as it was simply on my way, but I’m so glad that I did. The restaurant itself is beautiful, the staff are so welcoming and friendly, and the pasta was absolutely amazing. 10/10 would recommend!

Pizzas are amazing. We popped in here after a visit to the Kelvin grove museum totally by chance, staff, food and general enjoyment - fantastic! 5 out of 5.

My boyfriend and I spent a very pleasant evening with another couple of our Italian friends. As an Italian and Apulian, I can say that this is certainly one of the most authentic places in Glasgow. You can see that the selection of ingredients and wines is not random and is of quality. The pizzas were really tasty and well cooked, great Neapolitan style pizzas. The ragù (NOT Bolognese, but the Neapolitan/Apulian ragù!) reminded me a lot of the one my grandmother made at home and this is not something to be taken for granted, because until now in Glasgow I have not found any place where they cook the ragù so faithfully. To top it all off, Alessandro was very nice and made the evening more pleasant with a bit of healthy chat. I felt very at home. We will definitely be back. :)

Lovely atmosphere with nice service. We were happy to see that they prepared a birthday cake for our friend while we were having our dinner. Very flexible staff to accommodate any dietary restrictions.

The pizza is incredible and authentic Neopolitan style. The owner is a great guy and very attentive, he takes a lot of pride in his work. Best pizza in Glasgow by far. I would also recommend the Tiramisu! We go at least once a week for either a date night or a quick takeaway service.

Everything was amazing. We wandered in here by suprise and this was the best suprise. The food was fantastic and the waiter was so welcoming. We kept waiting for something to not be a perfect 10/10 but everything exceeded expectations, the food, the drinks, the desserts and coffee. Absolutely amazing We’ll be back

best meal we had all trip! lovely and full of light even on the dreary day we were there, decorated tastefully and comfortable. Service was amazing from the moment we walked in, so friendly. I had a delicious carbonara, and my husband loved his funghi and sausage penne. We'd just gotten off at the wrong bus stop and popped in, but it'd be a great place for an espresso and desert after the Kelvingrove as well :) plenty of vegetarian options too!

Popped in today for a late lunch with my husband and 2 teenagers. Lovely friendly service and really great food at a very reasonable price. My youngest has an eating disorder and we'd already taken him elsewhere for something he could eat but he proceeded to ask for and devour a plate of pasta too (very rare for him!). Just an all around lovely dining experience, sitting eating perfect al dente pasta, looking out at the kelvingrove. 5 stars, we'll definitely be back.

Hi, I visited Sandro's for lunch with my dad and 2 year old daughter. The food, service and atmosphere was exceptional. Value for money also very good. The owner (Sandro) made us feel very welcome and made such an effort to interact with us as well as my 2 year old daughter which made the experience even better. Overall I would recommend this restaurant to friends and family and I can't wait to return - the hot and spicy pizza was yummy! :)

Came across this delightful family run Italian restaurant right across the street from the Kelvingrove. We both had cheese related appetizers, caprese and Bufalla, perhaps the best I have had. Potato and sausage pizza was excellent and the service lovely. These 🇨🇦 would return.

We had taken advantage of the ITISON deal £29 for a pasta pizza and a bottle of wine, and I must say, what a great find this restaurant is. Friendly staff authentic Italian food and a pretty good red wine considering the value for money deal. It's always a good sign to see other Italians using an Italian restaurant which gives an indication of how authentic this place is. I hadn't downloaded my ITISON coupon properly so I didn't have the code, but the manager kindly offered me the same deal at the same price as the offer, which was above and beyond, so thank you for that. All in all we'd highly recommend Sandro's for food, service, and ambience, with a perfect setting overlooking the Kelvingrove art gallery, what''s not to like.

Very friendly personal and attentive, asking if everything is ok, bringing extra cheese... Compared to higher star restaurants I would give the food a 8/10. The arancini are good and pasta was cooked al dente.

Nice pizza forgot the Sugo on the pizza which is stated on the menu, then family members asked for sugo also but wasn’t on it. Apart from these errors overall friendly services

Very nice experience. Food was lovely, various options but not too much to bamboozle you. Very reasonably priced as well, around £25 a person for 2 drinks and 2 courses. Staff were very friendly, chatty, and helpful. To quote my son, "best pizza he's ever had!" We will definitely be back.

Sandro's is a lovely family run pizzeria with very good quality pizza and a friendly atmosphere. The restaurant also sells fresh baked products such as bread. Staff is very polite, friendly and makes you feel at home.

I visited Sandros for the first time after I was recommended by several friends, and it was incredible! The atmosphere is lovely, and the whole experience, from the amazing food to the friendly staff, was fantastic. All I can say is... if you want a pizza like in Italy, THIS is the place! Popped in with my son, was middle afternoon and we got seated quickly and served fast, he got the pizza which he couldn't finish, I got the rigatoni carbonara and it was phenomenal.

WONDERFUL, warm and YUMMY! We walked in reluctantly with coffee we had just bought somewhere else and apologized for being rude. They greeted us warmly as though they were still happy to see us. The food was delicious even though my stomach was small from jet lag and I wasn’t feeling too well. They are so observant, noticed I went to the rest room, checked in with me, offered me hot water for comfort and were so lovingly hospitable, I left feeling much better than when I first walked in. THANK YOU ALESANDRO!!! So personable and charming! Bravo!!! Mille grazie!

Amazing find! We went along having never been before for pre concert meal and drinks using an itison voucher. We were not disappointed-on arrival we were warmly greeted and shown to our table and then our server Camilla introduced herself and first class service followed - such caring and warm service and the food! Wow! Truly authentic Italian food - we had pizza and I ordered the hot and spicy which was so tasty and not overpowering. Thin base, gorgeous sauce just like the pizza I’ve had when visiting Italy. I tried my best to finish but was defeated! We had the house white wine which was gorgeous, we had no room for desert but we Sat for a while enjoying the gorgeous surroundings of the restaurant and the view of the Art Galleries. When we were leaving even the chef said goodbye and we were made to feel so special and that is very unusual in todays times - good old fashioned customer service which is fabulous - I cannot recommend this jewel in the west end enough- fabulous!

We stopped in on a Sunday afternoon a week before Christmas and no booking and were given a warm welcome. We were all delighted with our pizzas, delicious! The service was exceptional. We were made to feel very welcome and the staff chatted with the 3 kids. We even left with a fresh loaf of bread! If I lived closer, this would be my local! Grazie!

BEST pizza in Glasgow prove me wrong. Somehow it’s never too crowded, and service is extremely fast. Do you want a fantastic pizza for £5 pounds? Go in on a Thursday at any time. I’ve made it my personal mission to get as many people to come to Farina with me as possible, and everyone jokes that I’m overhyping it until the moment that pizza goes into their mouths. If I could give this place 10 stars I would.

In Glasgow for the weekend. Called in on a Saturday evening without booking. Lovely staff, great service, excellent pizza and ice cream. The menu seems to have changed from the menu shown here and has become a lot shorter- e.g. there were no pasta dishes. Will definitely comeback the next time we’re in town.

We were grateful to get a seat here as was Saturday night and we were at a concert and everywhere was busy. They had mainly pizzas as their mains - the staff were polite and really friendly and helpful. Would have been nice perhaps to have other options other than pizza and hopefully they do this in future, but what I had was nice and filling and they boxed up our food to take away what we hadn't eaten. I put 3 stars down as it wasn't busy? Can't remember if there was music but was a nice place to catch up with our son and head off to see kasabian feeling fed and watered. Many thanks.

Really lovely wee place. We went for a quick family catch up. Currently there is only pizza on the menu as they are revamping the menu apparently. Ideally I was looking for pasta or salad as not overly hungry, however the pizza did not disappoint. Pizza was delicious, great big portions and service good. Place was quiet for a Saturday evening when all other surrounding restaurants were very busy. I feel this is due to lack of menu options sadly. I hope to come back again however I would like more choice. They do do a delcious pizza so if everyone is happy just for pizza a great place to go for lovely thin based good sized pizzas eat in or take away. I wish them well in reintroducing more choices as planned.

A group of 6 (plus a child) ate here for lunch today. All ordered pizzas and drinks. The pizzas were fantastic. Lots of choice and the dough was very fresh. What made this place stand out though was the staff. Every one of them was so welcoming and friendly. Reasonably priced for the portions too!

I'ver been there last week with my son and surprisely I found out there is new management, this time they look genuinely italians (not sure if the previous owner was) IMO the pizza was so lovely (so better than the previous one) and the staff is frendly and makes you feel warm and at ease. Another thing I found out are that prices... They now are so much lowered compared few weeks ago: much more value for money

Nous cherchions un endroit proche de Kelingrove Park pour nous restaurer. Celui-ci se situe juste en face. Nous avons été surpris de n'y voir personne et avons été accueillis de la plus chaleureuse des manières. La patronne nous a expliqué qu'elle venait de reprendre l'affaire 3 jours auparavant et qu'il fallait qu'elle fasse ses preuves au vu des précédents propriétaires. Et nous n'avons pas été déçus : les produits sont sourcés, tout est fraîchement préparé à la minute (mention spéciale aux bouchées au taleggio, divines!), et les pizzas sont généreuses. Etonnamment, l'addition n'était pas énorme au vu de la qualité des plats. Merci encore pour cette formidable découverte et nous espérons que vous rencontrerez le succès que vous méritez.

I went with James and Lauren on a Friday night, both had a margarita pizza and I had a pizza recommended by the manager Alessandro with ham, mushrooms and olives on it, Lauren also had a milkshake as well, we where all really pleased with the food and the service as well despite it being very busy, I will definitely be going again and I highly recommend it 👍 🇮🇹

Every time i’ve gone here, the service has been really good and the pasta, specifically the spaghetti, has been pretty much perfect.

Two really high quality pasta dishes. Great service from the young guys working. Multi-lingual servers is a good touch as well. Recommended.
