Gennaro's in Glasgow City

A family owned business where the staff are amazing. Customer service is fantastic and the food is fresh and of the highest quality. I would recommend this establishment to anyone.

Great menu, excellent suppers. I also had a Mars bar. Scrumptiousness.

By far the best chippy in Glasgow always cook your order fresh and the quality of the fish and chips is second to none. The place is spotless and doesn’t stink like most take out places.The staff are very pleasant and courteous. It’s been on the go for 40 plus years by the same owners that’s a statement in its self

Good local 'chippy' with friendly staff

Ordered our pizza deal, advised to collect in 20mins. Almost an hour later we’re still waiting. We were told it was just going into the oven, then went back in 10 mins later to be told it hadn’t been put in the oven yet. Not ideal

Placed order at 5pm and scheduled for 6.30/7pm. Phoned shop at 7.30 for update on delivery and was told it was sent out 5/10 mins ago. 20 minutes later order arrives. By my reckoning that's nearly 30 mins in transit. Chips were cold, fish cold and soggy, sausages cold and soggy. Best thing about food we're the pickled onions. Slowly going downhill and will no longer order from here. Sad,as this used to be a decent Chippy

hamburger s was bit cold the batter was hard because burger was bit cold on inside and the delivery was between 19 15 to 19 35 but didn't arrive to 19 50 I love hamburger s out of here but this wasn't enjoyable

Smoked sausage and chips was missing the chips and was charged £8.20 for the sausage and chips and the donner meat tasted like the skin of a smoked sausage not very nice

Chips tasted over cooked dry Haddock was very salty batter taste & more batter than fish 2 females at counter trying to sell me a carrier bag - that i lost count on how many times they kept asking & I kept giving same reply - NO Thanks

I kept phoning the shop and they reassured me it’s on its way… it’s still not been delivered, but some how saying “enjoy your food” no compensation offered by the shop or apologies just a rubbish excuse saying they are busy! Absolute joke!

Usually it’s some of the best pizza i’ve had, but this time there was genuinely just way too much cheese. Pizza is best when the ratios are perfect between sauce cheese and bread and toppings! Too much of either and it isn’t quite as good. Delivery was super quick however and I still enjoyed it nonetheless

Driver said he couldn’t find our house for 20minutes even though I wrote how to locate as their is some confusion. So food was cold and missing my ice cream that I ordered

Fish was delicious with lovely crisp batter. The chips had a lovely taste. Only gripe was the food was ice cold. So a quick re heat in the microwave and it was good to eat.

Been going there for years tonight got usual including sausage supper??? Well I think I counted 12 chips with a full sausage supper shocking portion for the prices we pay girl serving didnt seem interested

Waited 1 hour 40 mins for my order. The meal itself was poor and disappointing. Most of the chips were scraps and hard. The fish did not taste fresh. Ate about a quarter of it and binned the rest. A waste of money.

Originally ordered at 18:15 and it said it would be 25-40 minutes the food wasn’t received until 19:55, and it was cold. Nightmare sitting in waiting on it all this time, really disappointing. I would like a full refund!

I have known this Genaros chippy for years we called in an order for 1.30 for a group at the Temple shafton youth project and I picked it up food was lovely everyone enjoyed it clean plates thank u so much all in order was £66 well worth the money

the app said it was ready for collection but when i went into the shop it hadn't all been made up yet. i ordered 2 rolls and only got one. the breaded haddock was not fresh at all, was at least several days old.

Chips weren't as good as usual, fish lovely, disappointingly late.

£1 for a roll. Just a roll, nothing in it. 10 p for butter on the roll. The fish wasn't haddock, I think it was cod, yuck ! And the chips weren't cooked enough and very greasy. I would not recommend.
