The Brewhaus in Glasgow City

I popped in for something to eat before I headed out, staff were very welcoming and extremely busy but handled themselves well, food was lovely and entertainment was class, spent most of the night here, would definitely recommend this place!

Just hired the loftt in brewhaus for my daughters 21st birthday and would like to thank Pamela and all staff for a fantastic evening thoroughly enjoyed by everyone (buffet fantastic, cocktails 🍸 😀) A great night enjoyed by all in a chilled and relaxing pub

Great pub with a fab beer garden

I love coming here with friends but we can NEVER stay for food because they only have one vegan option, and often they don't have it in. Very disappointing as its local and dog friendly.

Great place to enjoy sport or a (rare) summer's day in the large beer garden.

Updated, emboldened & lovely. Makes use of space & situ.

While on the hop on/hop off bus, I specifically hunted down this legendary pub, when I was 1.3 miles away. As soon as you step in the door there's a sign that you've found the famous pub from the first Trainspotting movie. I took some pictures, met another fan and we both got drinks to take upstairs to drink where the lads drunk. It was an awesome experience & I even took a video of myself bopping about then putting Born Slippy music on the vid. Lovely beer garden, too.. I came along for one or two drinks and ended up staying for a few hours. I highly recommend a visit if you're around Glasgow and you're a fan of the movie.

Nice wee pub in the west end, with plenty of space and seats. Tried the pizza a few time and it's really really good!

Wonderful place. Was there yesterday with my wife for a drink. Warm hospitality, nice cold draft beer and plenty of TVs. Couldn't try their food as it was late, but the time spent was really good. Great place to unwind.

The 'pub from Trainspotting ' has definitely improved since it was the Crosslands Bar. Great beer garden and tap selection. Food is good too.

We stopped by here as a first port of call for a stag pub crawl after watching the footy. We were supposed to be here for 1! However because of Jodie’s exceptional service we stayed for about 8. Every time we were ready to go, she offered us a drink or a shot. Every time our table was nearly up (with a reservation scheduled), she found us another one. No one was ever left wanting. I run hospitality businesses and she is a true asset to any company. Bravo Jodie

I did not enjoy the food and the atmosphere was not great either. Left after one drink and felt annoyed I had spent my money when I could've had a much more pleasant and tasty experience elsewhere or at home even. A previous visit when it was a bit less busy and there was actually music on was a bit more pleasant but I wouldn't order the food again.

Picked a table here on a Tuesday night for the Scotland game, hadn’t realised it was their weekoy quiz night but I was advised before arrival the game would be shown just without the commentary. Very friendly chatty ans welcoming staff, great pint of tennants and my friend and I went for a couple of pizzas and some spicy fries, food was quick and brilliant. It’s got a great bit of history this place so if you want to come in for a cosy pint or a decent beer garden for the summer come and give this place your business.

I really want to like this place and their selection of beer is good but they do need to get their act together on food. I ordered a burger that should have had a brioche bun and bacon in it, and it had a sad white bread bun and no bacon instead. My partner ordered a gyros and she got a tortilla wrap instead. Disappointing. Please do better.

Takes dogs, food is good, prices are fair and service and atmosphere is also good. Screens showing afternoon results rather than live sports so possibly not subscribed to paid sports services which are usually expensive for pubs. Didn't detract from our visit and will definitely be back - thanks!

I really like it here because the staff are wonderful BUT the lighting is all wrong - those lights that come down from the ceiling on the platform are like the sun when you’re under them, it could be so much glowier in the whole place which would really change the atmosphere. Additionally - there are beautiful candles on the tables that we aren’t allowed to light due to health and safety - why not just put electric candles and put us out of our misery? Cheers love your staff just having a vent x

It's the perfect place to go with friends or even on a date. On the mezzanine they have a pool table, and I saw that they do quiz nights and also happy hours with discounts for food and drinks. I'm looking forward to going back. Their Instagram page has many great videos too.

Best pint of Guinness I've had in Glasgow for a long time. Bar staff definitely know how to pour it and friendly too.

A great wee boozer. Good selection of beers, great service. Doesn't need to live on its Trainspotting Movie set past. Is a little bit out of the way but well worth the visit. (Winter ain't the time of year for it, but worth noting they have a cracking beer garden)

Went in for drinks and had a little cannoli with my pint. Cannoli was very stale which was a real shame as it kinda puts me off eating here (maybe unfairly!). Pints were decent and although they do show sport, the set up is not great for watching sport - it’s more on in the background. Having said all this, the beer was decent and I would go again if I’m passing.

Superb institution. Used to go here when it was Crosslands, and they did the Poutine ( chips with melted cheese and gravy - superb). Had a quick pint the other day. FUN FACT: Its one of the pubs in TrainSpotting.

Only in for one, but lovely staff, it was early, so many of the tables were empty, but with reserved tickets for later in the evening, so that's good!

I like this place and decent drinks and food but at times you see the bar staff are a bit to into phones than service. The below is today but it's common when coming in for food. Had lunch today and 2 staff at bar and 2 in kitchen, was fairly quiet under 20 customers. Our food was ready and kitchen press a small bell and left under a heat lamp. One bar staff serving and other on phone. After a while a staff member walked past kitchen and did not see our food sitting under heat lamp. Had to point this out to them to get it Then table next to us, same happens and they went for their own food. Neither of the tables got cutlery etc and had to sort themselves. Kitchen quiet so no idea why the 2 staff can't bring food. Bar staff district on phone and not hearing the kitchen bell. Overall it's a nice bar and the food is fine but the staff are a bit overly comfortable on phone etc rather than serving. However once the bar got busy the service sped up for other customers. I would go back but any time I am there the service is very slow.

Bar was busy late on Saturday afternoon, a good atmosphere. My friend and I chose to sit in the lovely beer garden as we had dogs. The individual cabins are gorgeous. We had 2 large white wines and 2 coffees, at over £20 it was not cheap, hence the 4 stars. But it was a lovely early evening outing, the wee cubicle was decorated really nicely, so I would go back, but would just not drink a lot there! A plus for me is that it is very dog friendly!

Came in with the family for a quick bite to eat tonight. Staff were really friendly and the food was absolutely delicious as always. There is something for everyone. Cosy wee place too.

We were at your place today ,were gona eat there but observed a dog jumping on table and a child sitting on a table not hygenic , staff very indifferent .will deffinately never return

Friendly and characterful pub in Glasgow. Comfortable seating, good beer selection and even brought us water and bar snacks for our dogs! Very much recommended!

Absolutely love going to the brewhaus, a firm family favourite. Staff are friendly, meals are lovely and the kids (and adults) love sitting in the wee hut’s which are perfect for our Scottish weather. Altogether a relaxing and happy meal.

Class food, great portion sizes and well worth the money. Bar man was very friendly. Would recommend!

Home of the infamous Begbie glass scene. Stumbled into this place by pure chance having only read an article on the pub about a week or so ago. In for a few beers but could have stayed all day. Michael the barman was engaging. Big screen TV's should you want to watch the game. Beer garden too which I look forward to visiting in summer. Decent collection of beers on draught. Liked the Spaten which is one often found on Perfect draught. Food looked good although we never ordered anything on this occasion.

This has the potential to be a brilliant venue. The bar looks lovely and there is an excellent beer garden, sadly the food is a let down. We ordered burgers and they were clearly not fresh. Frozen rubbish that left a bad taste in the mouth. It's right on my doorstep and I would love to return but there are so many places near by offering fresher, tasty pub grub. They could do much better.

It’s quirky and dog friendly. Maybe less of a focus on quality ale than the name suggests. Pizzas and burgers amongst some bargain lunch offers. Barman was super friendly and the decor is fab. Also has a mezzanine for events and a beer garden for the summer

Fantastic place! Simple food well presented but more important very tasty! Pizza delicious! They also make special dishes every day! Staff is easy going and very funny!if you meet Maurizio, the owner laught is guaranteed! Nice and clean place! 10/10

Loved the pub due to its trainspotting history but 3 stars due to them not having commentary on the TVs for the football due to a party upstairs. The pub was packed out for the football! Really ruined the atmosphere. Would not go back here to watch sports ever again. Food was nice and reasonable price. Staff were very nice but really should have prioritised the majority. The funny thing was, as soon as the football finished a DJ (not associated with the party) started absolutely blasting tunes and the bar staff were fine with it.

Visited for first time last night and ordered a burger and fries and was the best burger I've ever tasted, my partner had a milano burger and also agreed. Tried the disco forklift truck ale just because of its funky name and was very refreshing. Staff were brand new and will be back soon.

Extremely volatile Guinness pouring. Undeniably exquisite atmosphere in this local pub, yet a horrifyingly disappointing and saddening Guinness pour. Some of the bar staff don't really care about pouring a good Guinness . I condemn them

First time here. Friendly service

Chosen due to it’s proximity to the canal as I was cycling to meet a friend. We ordered the “Bangkok Bad Boy Vegan Burger”. A burger arrived that can only be described as akin to the frozen vegan burger you may have picked up from Tescos “own” range about 10 years ago. There was zero trace of the flavoursome ingredients noted on the menu. We highlighted this with a member of staff, thinking we must have been served the basic vege burger. The food was then removed from our table so it could be checked with the chef, who confirmed it was indeed the “Bad Boy”. The burger was served in the bun with a single lettuce leaf and scrape of mayo. The chips were ok, but a few of mine were firm to say the least. The meal overall, was like something a student might knock up using the slim pickings in their freezer after a night out. I ordered a pint of the bespoke craft lager. It was watery and tasteless, a bit like a slightly less exciting pint of Tennents. It was a terrible pint. I followed this with a Guinness. Oh dear. It looked ok, but wasn’t. It had a bitter aftertaste, caused by I don’t know what, and I’d rather not dwell on it too much. They tried a second one, but it was the same. I think I now understand why Begbie launched his pint over the balcony during his visit to The Brewhaus.
